About: These are my work experiences throughout the years and include: zoo keeper, horse trainer/ranch hand, small animal (dog/cat) vet technician, wildlife biologist, and pet sitter I am a full-time wildlife biologist, so my schedule is restricted and limited to evenings during the workweek [Monday- Friday]. Weekends are best for me since I can be flexible and cater to a morning/afternoon/or evening schedule. Unfortunately I am unable to do any boarding at my place. Working at a vet clinic has given me the experience to be able to care for animals with advanced/special medical needs. “If I could give Alyssa more than 5 stars, I would. She truly came to our rescue after a friend canceled on us the night before we had to leave for a funeral out of state. We were scrambling to find someone we could trust with our two cats and our dog on incredibly short notice, and Alyssa stepped in without hesitation. What started as an incredibly stressful situation turned into one where we were able to travel with complete peace of mind because of her. From the very beginning, her communication was outstanding. She kept us updated throughout our trip, sent thoughtful messages and lots of wonderful photos, and it was obvious she genuinely enjoyed spending time with our pets—not just checking boxes.
