“This was our first time issuing any kind of dog walking service so of course we were a little nervous however I felt instantly comfortable with Yuki from the first moment we met! Both our babies, Jax and Nala went right up to Yuki to check her out and she got the nod of approval from both! We were gone for a week and had Yuki come by for daily walks and it has been great! I’m so relieved to know if we’re ever going to be gone during the day we have someone we can trust with our babies! Thank you Yuki!!!”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since high school from walks, check-ins, and overnights 🐶💕 I am looking forward to learning about and caring for your dogs 🐩 Please reach out to me with your requests and questions! I am currently working part time so I have a pretty flexible schedule! My schedule can vary by week so I am happy to communicate and find a time that works for everyone. Whether my home or yours, I am vigilant and detail-oriented to ensure the safety and care of all animals’ health, well-being, and happiness. Please feel free to ask any questions.

About: I got my first golden retriever in kindergarten and took care of her all through college. While in college, I trained service dogs for The Guide Dog Foundation. I also have had more than 15 foster dogs of varying anxiety levels and general needs. I look forward to meeting all kinds of dogs from baby puppies who need structure to seniors who need mobility assistance and patience. I’m working part-time. I make my own schedule most of the time. I’ll be teaching online and in person during afternoons in the school year. I look forward to meeting all kinds of dogs for walking, play dates, and overnights. I look forward to providing your pets with the most safe environment. I’ve had training in dog safety by working with fosters, animal rescues, and service dog training.

About: I’ve been taking care of animals for over 16 years now. I look after dogs, cats, and small critters, and in that time, I’ve learned how to handle all kinds of situations, from regular walks to giving meds or doing injections for pets that need extra care. I’ve volunteered at animal shelters for many years, taking care of animals with all kinds of personalities and needs. I’ve also had two big service dogs myself, so I totally get that a pet isn’t just an animal — it’s a family member that deserves attention, care, and proper treatment. I always make sure to follow all the safety measures: – I use leashes or harnesses during walks to keep pets safe. – I make sure the home environment is comfortable and secure. – I keep an eye on the pet’s health and follow any treatment recommendations. I know how important it is for a pet to feel calm, especially if they’re dealing with stress or anxiety. I’m great at knowing how to approach those pets, help them relax, and make them feel at ease. If you want your pet to feel right at home and know they’re in good hands — I’m here to help! I work from home and have a flexible schedule. This allows me to dedicate plenty of time to caring for pets. I can take them on walks for up to 4 hours a day, depending on their energy levels, and if a pet needs constant attention — like cuddling or being scratched behind the ears — I’m happy to spend the whole day keeping them company. I rarely leave the house, so your pet will always be under my watchful eye. Since my routine is pretty open, I can adjust to whatever the pet needs, whether it’s frequent playtime, a long walk, or just a quiet, comforting presence. Your pet will always feel cared for and safe with me around! I have a spacious home (2500 sqft) with a secure, closed backyard, so your pet will have plenty of room to roam and play safely. I only take one pet at a time to ensure they get my full attention and care, so your pet will never feel neglected or overlooked. I don’t currently have any pets of my own, which means your pet will be the center of attention and under constant supervision. I make sure to keep their routine as close to normal as possible, whether it’s walks, feeding times, or just cuddles if they need extra comfort. I also send regular photo and video updates, so you can see how your pet is doing and know they’re having a great time. Whether they’re playing outside, resting inside, or getting some extra love, I’ll make sure you’re in the loop the entire time. No matter where your pet stays, I ensure they’re safe, comfortable, and getting all the attention they need!

About: I have worked at Animal Hospitals since I was 15 and have slowly worked my way up the food chain! I was a Veterinary Assistant at Banfield Pet Hospital for 5.5 years and have recently relocated to Bliss Animal Hospital- a brand new animal hospital in Lake Forest! Keep me in mind if your pet: • Has fear/anxiety • Is a larger breed (German Shepherds are a personal fan favorite) • Has a medical condition that requires specialized care • Is a Puppy that requires training and a vigilant eye • An older friend that requires a lighter touch I am currently working full time and go to school, can discuss a schedule that works for both parties! Nights and weekends will be the easiest to schedule! The main thing I offer is peace of mind. Your pet will be loved as if they were my own and monitored as if they were one of my patients.

Highly recommend her services.”

“Olivia is very communicative and responds quickly with details! She made sure to ask questions for the animals to make sure everything is covered. She is a pleasure to work with and our dog, Kumu, absolutely loves her. It shows that she is experienced with dogs as Kumu melted in her hands right when they first met. “Jenny is great! Our dogs loved her. She’s been taking care of them nicely and give them time to walk and play. Would love to recommend her for a dog walker or sitter.”

Jenny T.
“Our dog Raven was cared by her while we were traveling. Raven can be handful when she misses her family, but we knew that she would be all right because Hyojean remains calm and friendly even when Raven gets a little wild. We were kept up to date with lovely photos of Raven. We felt assured. I'd totally recommend her to care your doggies!”

Christine Z.
“Christine was amazing with my 3 dogs. She spent plenty of time making sure they got some energy out and followed all their feeding instructions perfectly. Highly recommend Christine as a dog sitter/walker. She always makes sure the animals come first.”

Anna V.
“Anna is our neighbor and we have known her for a long time, our children go to the same school. She stayed in our home for two weeks to take care of our dog and cat. Every day she sent us videos, so we could see they were happy and safe. She even taught our dog a few new tricks! Our cat needed daily injections, and Anna handled it very gently. We sometimes checked the home cameras — everything was calm and in order. She also watered our plants, and when we came back, the house was just like before. Pets were relaxed, healthy, and looked great. When the person caring for your pets is not only a true animal lover but also the CEO of a big company, you feel completely at peace.”

Mika T.
“Mika is the dog whisperer. She’s amazing and so kind and patient. My dog Jake can be a handful but is so calm with Mika. She has a way to calm even the most hyper dog. He loves staying with her and her family is so nice. She makes sure Jake gets enough exercise and socialization. And she is so mindful of his diet and medicine. We love her and completely trust her with our Jake. She’s just superb and we always have our Jake stay with her whenever we need to leave town.”

Northwood dog parents share their Rover experiences
Mitchell had great communication, sending us photos and updates on every walk he did with our two dogs. We have one very large dog and one medium large dog. Mitchell handled them both very well. I felt comfortable that he had everything handled while we were out of town.
