I am a third-year environmental science student at Cornell University. I have experience administering oral and topical medication to pets, have cared for senior pets, and know how to safely remove ticks. I love hiking and will make sure your energetic pup gets all the exercise they need! I have a car and am happy to bring animals along on adventures. I am a student with a flexible schedule and a car to get me and your animals to where they need to go! Overnight stays are easy for me to do and I often have time for long walks. I specialize in dependable drop-in visits and attentive walks in your pet’s familiar environments. My car is set up with a dog hammock and pet safety seatbelt to transport your pupper to a nearby park or trail if desired! I prioritize safe and secure leash handling, stay aware of surroundings by avoiding headphone use, and tailor the pace and distance to your dog’s comfort level and energy. I understand how important consistency and routine are, and I carefully follow all feeding, medication, exercise, and care instructions exactly as provided. About: I’ve been taking care of dogs, cats, birds, fish, bunnies, small farm animals, and reptiles/amphibians since I was about 8 years old. Family members, neighbors, friends, and strangers have trusted and depended on me to take care of their beloved animals while they are away. About: I've cared for dogs since I was 10, including my own for 7 years and my girlfriend’s three pups of small, medium, and large breeds. I’m patient, playful, and deeply comfortable with dogs of all temperaments. Whether it’s walking, feeding, or just keeping them company, I treat every dog like family. As a Cornell student, I have soccer practice early mornings Sunday–Thursday and classes during the day. I’m available for dog walks or drop-in visits most afternoons and evenings on weekdays and very flexible Friday, Saturday, Sunday. I offer dog walking and drop-in visits at your home. About: I have taken care of pets since I was six years old, starting with a few fish. Then it developed into lizards, birds, hermit crabs and dogs. I love and care for all and make careful research to provide the best care. Pet care is a wonderful addition to my weekly routines! Walking dogs helps get my steps in and I especially love the longer walks. As a student, my Mondays are busy, but all other days are mostly free except for the late mornings. I keep alarms set at home for when to feed my pets so everyone knows when it’s breakfast and dinner time! Three times a day I will take my dog out for 30-minute to an hour long walk. As a 75lbs husky, my dog loved to pull on the leash but I was able to slowly train him out of that habit. Now he walks beside me and makes walking around the neighborhood a breeze!

About: Hello to all possible clients! :-) My name is Kat, I am a caregiver professionally and a caregiver at heart but when I’m home I love to spend time with our family dogs. Since I was a kid I’ve adored dogs till utter obsession. I’ve helped train and care for dogs within my family for many years and have experience in feeding, medications, walks, training, dogs that range in size, dogs with anxiety, senior dogs & pups…etc. I’d love to do some drop-in visits and help when I can. Can’t wait to hear back! I’ve recently given birth and before I fully submerge myself back into working again I figured I could use a schedule with a little more flexibility and found this to be a perfect fit. When caring for your pup I will provide whatever energy is needed for your pup to thrive, whether that mean love, patience, tender care or space and just the necessities.
