I work 30 hours a week but am generally able to do two visits a day for drop ins on full days, and often have variable scheduling and am happy to work with you on making it work!

I will always take safety as a big priority- your pet's health is a big concern. I don't take my eyes off when I'm there, and often will make sure they're in my sight at all times, even during house sitting in order to make sure no chaos is happening.

I appreciate information regarding temperament and am happy to adjust as needed for your pet. I have had many dogs who I've met multiple times prior to dogsitting as the owner wanted to ensure a smooth petsitting experience.

On walks, I'm welcome to go wherever is comfortable for your pet. I love hiking, nature parks, and seeing new environments. Dog parks are a favorite for me, but there's a nice charm in neighborhood walks, too. In drop in visits, I can adjust to the play area size, and wear dogs out with tug of war, fetch, wrestling... Whatever they enjoy the most!

Hello there! My name is Casper and I'm a Veterinary Assistant looking to make some extra money as a pet sitter or dog walker as I prepare to finish my veterinary technician degree! I grew up in Ithaca and am happy to be back. I have worked in Oregon as well as New York, and I have been a pet sitter and in the veterinary field since I was 18! I've volunteered with both the SPCA and shelters in Oregon as I've grown up, and hope to one day get into Vet school. I was a pet sitter with Rover from 2019-2022, when I stopped due to diifficulty with transportation, but I am very happy to be back! I've had multiple senior pets of my own, so I understand daily medical care and the importance of a schedule. Due to working in the veterinary field, I am skilled with subcutaneous fluids, injectable medications, and pilling- as well as helping keep it all as low stress as possible.

Casper was amazing- absolutely above and beyond. Our cats can be shy but they absolutely loved Casper. Communication was excellent throughout the stay. We will definitely be booking again :)
