“Arya was wonderful with our Dia. He kept us updated each day which gave us peace of mind that our Dia was taken care of. He regularly walked her and was as some would say a doggie whisperer as she doesn’t like many people but took to Arya right away. Next vacation or even just a daily getaway, I would highly recommend using Arya.”

“Excellent communication and dog-loving household for boarding. Our dog was well taken care of by Cate and family, who welcomed her along with their 2 nice dogs. Great location for us. Everything worked out great and we'll be returning soon!”

“Andrea and her family were absolutely wonderful to our elderly pup during his first stay with them. They were extremely attentive to his behavior and needs, and totally proactive in sending me photos and reports on his stay. When I arrived to pick him up, I could see how well they had connected with him through their warmth and kindness. We are very grateful to them and already looking forward to his next visit!”

“Robert and Eileen were so wonderful with our dog Poppy! This was our first time leaving her with a sitter, she usually goes everywhere we do. They made her comfort and care a priority, and we are so grateful for that. She had a wonderful time, and came home exhausted in the best way! Excellent communication and very accommodating, we would certainly book another stay with them!”

“Maxine was a fantastic sitter for my puppy! Took her on hikes almost daily and handled her meds and everything with no issue. She also took some fantastic photos and shared updates daily. Highly recommend!”

“Jessica and her family were amazing. They watched our 6 month old puppy and 7 year old dog for 4 nights while we were on a vacation. The older dog gets anxiety when she would stay at a boarding facility due to being around lots of dogs, barking and sleeping in a kennel. She experienced none of that while with Jessica. She came home happy, calm and most importantly, with an appetite. She took them on long walks everyday, played with them and treated them as her own. She is great about communication with pics and constant daily updates. Your dogs will be in great, loving hands with Jessica. I will certainly use her again for all my dog sitting needs.”

“Destiny was friendly and accommodating, and my dogs clearly had a good time while they were at her home. I will happily use her again the next time I go on vacation.”
“Rocky was well cared for and content during his recent stay with Kathy and Tim. He loves them and they love him. I could not ask for better sitters which allows me to relax knowing that he is happy. Rocky enjoys their fenced in yard and their beagle. I will certainly book with them again if I need to go away. Thank you, Kathy and Tim !! Sheila Nelson”

“Rose was great and very easy to deal with. She took great care of our Griff and he loved playing ball and was tired out. I would definetely reccommend her. Very friendly and appreciative and loves animals.”

About: Hi I have experienced with all size dog and breed through my veterinary assistance experience. I also have a Black Lab her name is Lisa, and she is turning four years old. I am a full time student at Cornell. I have a back yard for puppy play time. I take boarding, sitting, and walking as long as the schedule fits. Also I can do same day appointment to support our pet parents. I have fenced yard. Extra leashes and harness. We are in a dog friendly neighborhood. My dog is 80lb so I can handle dog who pull and large size.
About: I’ve loved and cared for dogs my whole life—from my childhood golden retriever, to my first mini poodle in college, and now my French bulldog puppy. Having a Frenchie has taught me how to care for dogs with sensitive stomachs, skin allergies, and special needs. I cook fresh, balanced meals with real protein and veggies for every meal, and I treat every pup like my own—gentle, patient, and a little spoiled. Whether it’s walks, cuddles, or home-cooked meals, I make sure each dog feels safe, loved, and completely at home. I’m an MBA student at Cornell and have classes about three times a week from Monday to Thursday from 9am to 1pm. My boyfriend is home during the day until I return in the afternoon, so there’s always someone available to care for and walk the pups. We’re both huge dog lovers and spend most weekends at home since I usually have assignments to work on — which means plenty of time for cuddles, walks, and playtime with your furry family member. Your pup’s comfort and safety are my top priorities. I have a French bulldog with sensitive skin and allergies, so I’m extremely careful about hygiene, food, and playtime routines. I also have a bit of OCD when it comes to cleaning — my home is spotless, sanitized daily, and always pet-safe. Every pup has their own cozy, comfortable space to relax, and I can easily follow any feeding or medication instructions. Whether your dog needs fresh meals, extra attention, or a calm environment, they’ll be cared for with the same love and detail I give my own.
“Laura is an incredible caregiver to our 1 year old energetic and affectionate beagle! She is responsive, nurturing, and thoughtful! I feel so assured when our pup is in Laura’s care. 100% recommend!”

About: I've taken care of pets since I was a child-- growing up with a large breed and small dog and two cats-- I've always loved animals. I have a large breed dog named Chewbacca and an adult indoor cat named Chase. Both are friendly with other animals, easy going, and playful. I work from home most days so I'm very available! I'm here in my house and I'm happy to offer lots of love, comfort, cuddles, and address any special dietary or medical needs when your pet stays with me! My older large dog is very sweet and sleeps most of the day, but he enjoys playing with other dogs and otherwise is great with cats and any other animals he encounters! I have a large fenced yard on just over an acre outside of Ithaca. Dogs can run and are very happy here when visiting! I am happy to supervise any bathroom breaks or keep your pet on a leash if you prefer them not running the large yard-- whatever feels most comfortable! I will follow your care instructions precisely to ensure your pet gets the love and attention needed.
“Charlie came back happy and healthy! Susan kept us well updated without needing to prompt, which was much appreciated while we were tied up on vacation it was nice to see he was being well cared for.”
“Ashley and Brian took such good care of our pup! This was his first time staying with a sitter and it was so nice to know we could completely trust that he would not only be safe and cared for, but also have fun and get lots of love from their family! Thank you for everything- Frankie can’t wait until next time :)”

“I appreciate how confident, chill, and comfortable Jenny is around dogs! My dogs hate being kenneled so having a run with space to play, sniff, dig, rest, and be part of a pack is great for them!”

About: I am a cat gal through and through. My soul in animal form 🐈⬛🔮 I know how to read the room when a cat is in it. It is their world, not mine. I adapt as needed ~ One of my proudest moments: An extremely shy cat who had was not opening up to their owner, took a nap on my tummy for an hour… Unfortunately, I recently got a new phone and all of my pics have been wiped out. But that can be me and your kitty <3

About: I have experience caring for cats of all ages and personalities, from playful kittens to independent senior cats. I understand that every cat has unique needs and comfort levels, and I always take the time to earn their trust and make them feel safe and secure in my care. Whether it's feeding, refreshing water, cleaning litter boxes, administering basic medications (if applicable), or simply providing companionship and playtime, I am attentive to the details that keep cats happy and healthy. I also understand the importance of maintaining their routine and respecting their space, especially for shy or anxious cats. My goal is to provide reliable, compassionate care while giving pet parents peace of mind knowing their cat is receiving the same level of attention and care that I would want for my own pets.

“Gwen was an incredible pet sitter! We left our cat and kitten in her care for a 2 week overseas trip, and when we returned the two of them were so happy and relaxed. She carefully followed all our tips and requests regarding litter & food, and worked seamlessly with the general quirks of our older famhouse-style building (like windows being left open/closed, making sure the cats didn't escape via the front door etc). She also sent us adorable updates about each of the cats every day of our trip, including photos, which were very comforting and cute to receive when we were so far away. We will definitely reach out to Gwen to pet sit again :D”

“Yazmeen follow all the directions I left and that dogs really like her. It was our first time having someone come to our house to check on the dogs and feed them instead of boarding. It went so smoothly we will definitely request her again. Thank you Yazmeen!”

He cooks a special and big meal every 29 of April (Animals’ Day in Argentina) for the dogs of the neighborhood — yeah, my dad is pretty great. I am an architect and Assistant Professor at Cornell AAP. I live with Juan Manuel, my husband, who is also an architect and Visiting Critic at Cornell AAP. We teach twice a week (but on different days) so we are flexible to baby sit your pet every day. We are also available during the weekend! We live very close to a park in downtown Ithaca, which is a fantastic park for dogs, so your pet will have fun meeting some new friends! At home your dog will be indoors, in a warm quiet and very clean ambience. We will take care of your pet as if was ours. Your dog will be invited to play with us, cuddle, lay on the couch with us, spend time outside, do some walks and tours in the neighborhood. We will treat them really greatly and will share a lot of love and joy. We really baby sit because we enjoy it very much!
“Cannot say enough good things about Jennifer! Needed last minute doggy daycare for my boy. Text her the morning of. She was quick to respond. I felt at ease as soon as I pulled in. I knew he would have a good time and he did! Picking up was also flexible. So thankful for Jennifer today!”

“My dog had a fabulous time at daycare with Mikia, her daughter and her dog Zara. I received some great photos (including some funny ones of the dogs wrestling) and felt comfortable knowing the dog was having a good time, socializing and burning off her adolescent energy while I was at work. Highly recommend!”

“I am working out of town and Caterina has been a god send for letting me take my puppy with me during the week. She is tucked away in the country with lots of walks and interactions with other doggy friends, which my girl loves. Highly recommend!”

About: I have grown up around dogs my entire love and absolutely love them. I have one small rescue dog of my own who I trained on my own. I spend my weekends at the Cleveland Animal Protective League walking and training all different types of dogs, so I have experience with any type of dog you could think of! I am very flexible with my availability and want nothing more than to spend some time giving your dog a great walk and some TLC. I have my own car and am free around the clock on weekends and most weekdays. I am comfortable with multiple dogs and have never met an animal I didn't love!
“Our dog was nervous at first with being in a new situation. But he immediately took to Destiny. She has a wonderful way with dogs, very gentle and caring. She later let us know that he had settled in nicely. It seems he had a great day - came home tired in a good way. We hope to call on Destiny again.”

“Susan was great helping out my maltese as we needed a sitter for the day. She was attentive and send us picture of our dog. Excellent at communicating and big thanks for taking care of our dog.”

“Chantal is a fabulous rover who always takes such sweet care of my puppy. He absolutely loves her and warmed up to her within minutes at our meet and greet. Chantal follows directions and provides great care with updates. Kind, intuitive, and nurturing she provided excellent care while my puppy recovered from a stomach bug. He gets excited every time we pull up to her home and happily awaits weekly visits. Great rover reliable and sincere, she completely turned our Rover experience around after a negative experience with a different Rover the first time we used the app. Repeat customer, we can always count on Chantal to offer amazing services.”

About: I’ve worked at a service dog nonprofit for the past decade and I’ve been a pet owner my whole life! Currently, we have a 4-year old Australian Cattle Dog mix and a 2-year old tabby cat. I know how stressful it can be leaving your fur babies when going on vacation/work but I’m happy to help! I will care for your pets with the same love and attention that I give my own. I have also completed training by the Fear Free Shelter Program. Conveniently, I work remotely (full time) so I am always at home to keep an eye on and care for your fur baby. On weekends, I leave the home briefly to run errands. I have a small fenced yard. Our two pets can provide company to your visiting fur baby. I am also available for daily walks. Ideally, your visiting pet will be crated at night while sleeping and if I ever have to leave the home briefly.

“John was amazing! He followed all guidance and my dog was well taken care of. This was simply my best experience with a sitter and I credit that to John for being attentive, caring, and anticipatory to my pets needs.”

About: Animals have been central to my life from an early age, and few things bring me more peace and joy than caring for the beloved pets of others—domestic and exotic alike. For over a decade I’ve provided quality care for cats and dogs of all sizes and ages in both my home and those of my clients’. Ten years ago, I helped launch the STAY WILD Rehabilitation Center in Trumansburg, NY, where I gained extensive hands-on experience rescuing and rehabilitating sick or injured domestic and farm animals—including dogs, cats, horses, and sheep—as well as local wildlife. Through this work, I developed advanced skills in administering medications of all kinds, wound care and maintenance, and specialized feeding procedures for high-needs animals. I’m confident in situations that require extra patience and care at any stage of your pet’s life — from potty training and housebreaking, to teething and the “terrible twos,” all the way through the gentle, attentive support senior pets deserve. ❤️ I am currently finishing the final credits of my college degree, which gives me a flexible and dependable daytime schedule. Because my coursework is remote, I’m able to prioritize consistent, timely drop-ins and structure my days around my Rover clients. I’m available Monday–Wednesday from 9am–6pm, and Thursday-Sunday from 2pm–6pm. I strive to maintain consistent visit windows for every household. I specialize in dependable drop-in visits and attentive walks in your pet’s familiar environments. My car is set up with a dog hammock and pet safety seatbelt to transport your pupper to a nearby park or trail if desired! I prioritize safe and secure leash handling, stay aware of surroundings by avoiding headphone use, and tailor the pace and distance to your dog’s comfort level and energy. I understand how important consistency and routine are, and I carefully follow all feeding, medication, exercise, and care instructions exactly as provided. With a background in banking and childcare, I bring responsibility, discretion, and respect into every home I enter. You can expect punctual visits, clear communication, and photo updates so you feel assured and at ease while I’m with your furry family member ❤️. I will treat every pet with the same patience and love I give my own senior pup.
About: I have taken care of pets since I was six years old, starting with a few fish. Then it developed into lizards, birds, hermit crabs and dogs. I love and care for all and make careful research to provide the best care. Pet care is a wonderful addition to my weekly routines! Walking dogs helps get my steps in and I especially love the longer walks. As a student, my Mondays are busy, but all other days are mostly free except for the late mornings. I keep alarms set at home for when to feed my pets so everyone knows when it’s breakfast and dinner time! Three times a day I will take my dog out for 30-minute to an hour long walk. As a 75lbs husky, my dog loved to pull on the leash but I was able to slowly train him out of that habit. Now he walks beside me and makes walking around the neighborhood a breeze!

About: Fun fact: I began dog walking/sitting at just the age of 15 in Los Angeles, where I’m originally from. The old school way: pinning flyers around my neighborhood. My first client: a Great Dane as big as me. We soon became best friends. I am attentive and adapt easily to all sorts of pets — I know when it’s time to play, time to eat, and time to mellow out. I ensure all fur babies never feel like they are alone ~ In some way, we exchange. Whether it be through conversation, music, toy time, cuddles, and more. One of my proudest moments: An extremely shy black cat who rarely allows to be touched, laid on my tummy and napped for a couple of hours, at the third sitting call. I’m currently transitioning jobs (completely remote) and have ample free time to tap into all of my side gigs. Essentially, I am super flexible at this point in time. I, naturally, am active and will take long walks daily - and I’m sure your dog does too! If your dog enjoys running, we can do that together as well! As for cats, I love cuddles and purrs - my touch is soft, and I know cat play. I am naturally very observant and detail-oriented - meaning I will adapt according to your fur baby’s comfort level, preferences, and passions. Should your pet require a smaller, enclosed space, I will pick up on that! I am attentive to needs and ensuring water is filled up, and bellies are full when the time comes. I am also aware of keeping things out of reach when I am not around.
“We really enjoyed having Alexandra as our dog walker! She took great care of our dog (and even played with our cat) when she came to our house for a couple days. We will definitely be asking her for help in the future!”

About: I have been taking care of dogs since I was 12 years old! My entire live I have had dogs all around me and apart of my family. As I got older I learned more about the importance of animal care. I have pet sit my families dogs many times as well as friends and neighbors. I not only pet sit but walk and run dogs! In high school I actually had a small business where I would take peoples dogs for a run or walk! I work part time and am in my last year of college at Cornell University. I tend to go on walks and runs daily so I would love to have a dog accompany me. I tend to study at home in a friend friendly community so I will have lots of time to care for them. I am very observant and watchful! Being in the science field has allowed me to pay attention to detail, so I take that in to my practice or caring for animals. I truly love dogs so much and have a passion for caring for them!
About: I’ve loved dogs ever since I was a child and I finally convinced my parents to rescue one a few years ago! I’ve been the sole caretaker of him since he joined our family and I’ve taken him through the process of crate training, basic commands, recall and potty training! My dog Mav is my best friend and my pride and joy so I would love to take care of yours just the same! I’m currently home from college in Boston and am looking for some part time dog walking and care. I am available all day on most weekdays and I am available on weekends at any time. I have a fenced yard with one dog that sleeps in an outside house. I am also used to crating dogs so I can fit the needs of your household!
About: Animals have always been a huge part of my life, and caring for them comes naturally to me. Since I was young, I’ve had a genuine love for all kinds of animals, from dogs and cats to more exotic pets. I truly believe every animal deserves to be treated with patience, kindness, and proper care. I currently have two dogs of my own, one rescue and one I’ve raised since a puppy. They are a huge part of my life, and caring for them has taught me the importance of trust, consistency, and understanding each animal’s unique needs and personality. As a pet caregiver, my goal is to provide the same level of love, attention, and quality care that I would want for my own pets. I always strive to create a safe, comfortable, and positive experience for every animal I interact with, while giving pet parents peace of mind knowing their pets are in caring and reliable hands. I currently work nights as a registered nurse, which gives me daytime availability throughout the week to provide attentive and reliable pet care. I am available daily during daytime hours for walks, drop-ins, and quality time with your pets to ensure they are safe, comfortable, and well cared for. Due to my work schedule and commute, I am generally unavailable after 5 PM and overnight, but I work 3 days per week which allows me 4 days to provide care. The days that I work each week do vary, so feel free to contact me for specifics. I pride myself on being dependable, communicative, and fully present during the time I spend caring for each pet. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and well-being are always my top priorities. I understand how important it is to trust someone caring for your pets and being in your home, so I strive to provide dependable, respectful, and attentive care at all times. Because I have a dog at home who is not comfortable around other dogs, I currently focus on dog walking, drop-in visits, and pet sitting in clients’ homes rather than boarding. I believe many pets are most comfortable in their own familiar environment, where they can maintain their normal routine and feel secure while their owners are away. I always take the time to learn each pet’s individual needs, personality, routines, and any safety concerns to ensure they receive personalized care. Whether it’s keeping dogs safely leashed on walks, monitoring behavior and comfort levels, or maintaining a clean and calm environment during visits, I aim to provide loving care and peace of mind for both pets and their owners.
“Sarah was wonderful in all respects. She is warm, very comfortable with our senior dog, responsive and accommodating. Her communication is excellent. She has no problem giving medications. I will absolutely book her again.”

“Morgan was great with our dog! He showed up on time, completed the full walk, and was very attentive. He noticed Yoshi’s personality and some of his little quirks, which made us feel like he really paid attention. We’d definitely book with him again.”

About: I have cared for pets for many years. I have experience working in an animal shelter with dogs and cats, and have additional experience pet-sitting and caring for a variety of animals with a variety of needs- from dogs, cats, rabbits, chickens, and even snakes! From my experience, I have a lot of knowledge and ability to manage senior pets, pets with special/health needs, and young animals who may need more care. In addition to my pet care experience, I was raised on an inner-city farm, so I am familiar with the work, time, and care that should be devoted to animals of all kinds. I am currently a full-time college student- I have a decent amount of flexibility in my schedule and am happy to work with you based on what you and your fur babies need. Please share any specific schedule needs with me so I know how best to cater to your pet(s). I am comfortable and capable with many aspects of pet (cat, dog, rabbit, chicken, reptile, etc) care- including walking, crating, feeding, administering medication, and anything else that your pet may need!
“Georgia was wonderful! Reliable, flexible, knowledgeable, good communicator. She was very attentive to my dog and was sensitive to what he needed. I would highly recommend her and plan on rebooking in the future :)”

About: Hey! I'm Yazmeen. I've been petsitting for the last 8 years. I started with my sister and continued on my own. I have experience giving medication and with senior dogs as well as kittens. I love a long walk if the dog is up for it, and I'm always down to play and snuggle. Let me know if you're interested! My schedule is pretty flexible right now. I I usually wake up early, so I don't mind an early walk or feeding schedule. I typically go to bed around 11pm-midnight, but I am happy to work around a pet's schedule, especially to accommodate any medications or weather. I was raised to leave things better than I found them, so I always do a thorough clean before I leave a petsitting gig (including washing sheets, so you can go straight to bed!) I can also bring in mail and water plants if you give me a watering schedule.
About: I’ve been taking care of dogs, cats, birds, fish, bunnies, small farm animals, and reptiles/amphibians since I was about 8 years old. Family members, neighbors, friends, and strangers have trusted and depended on me to take care of their beloved animals while they are away. I have experience walking, feeding, cleaning, and playing with animals. I have a pretty open schedule at the moment and can visit your pet anytime you’d like! My calendar is regularly updated so please check my calendar for my availability. I look forward to meeting you and your pets! I will follow any and all directions you leave me for taking care of your animal and would love to meet up before our booking to see if it is a good fit and to learn from you about how you care for your animal.
About: I’ve been taking care of dogs and cats my whole life but only sitting for 4 years! I love animals and am always looking forward to learning more. I’m a Cornell student and only have classes for 4 hours M-Th. With this schedule it is easy to take pets on walks, drop by and check on them, and make sure they get all the care and attention they deserve! I always leave things the way I found them if not better! Including living spaces and animals. I always want to make sure I keep someone’s area clean and make sure I keep someone’s animal safe and happy while with me!
