“Caitlyn was a life saver for us. Our dogs are like our children, and we were very nervous to leave them in anyone's care, especially after they had both been attacked and our older pup has occasional seizures. From the moment we met her, we could tell that Caitlyn loves animals. This becomes so obvious when she interacts with them, showing her care, concern, and compassion. She gets it when an animal might not be feeling well, when your pup wants a little extra playtime, when they want to go for a walk or don't, or when they need a lot of extra attention. Caitlyn's dog Candy and our dogs got along great. Caitlyn followed the detailed instructions that we left her, and she was a considerate house/dog sitter while we were gone for 9 days. About: I won't just treat them as a "pet" I treat all animals as family. I have taken care of various dog and cats from family members and friends since I was a child. This included staying over, walking, feeding, training and playing. At the moment I am pursuing schooling for dog training so I have open availability I usually ask for a days notice but it never hurts to ask. I have had experience with larger dogs (German shepherds, Great Pyerenese, Pitbulls and Saint Bernards) as well as small dogs (Chihuahua's, Shih Tzu and Dachshunds). I also provide baths and nail trimming when asked. I enjoy running too so if your looking to get your dog in shape! If your pets coming to my house they must be crate trained (for when I sleep) and friendly with other dogs.
“Jennifer has stayed with my Puggle, Toulouse, twice now in our home and I plan to request her again in the future. She is responsive when I reach out and she sends daily updates of how he’s doing. Toulouse is comfortable with Jennifer and loves playing tug of war with her (a great sign)! When I’ve returned home my place is just as good as I left it and my boy is happy. I couldn’t ask for more. I whole heartedly recommend Jennifer!”

Zoe is a lifesaver! I just got back from a trip and Alfie barely wanted to leave her side. Our cat Mochi is very shy and even she came and rubbed against her legs. I will definitely be using Zoe again and would recommend her for anyone that has anxiety about leaving their furry friends!
My dogs were so excited that Jennifer was taking care of them again - and so was I! Great communication, dogs were happy, extra special care when the unexpected happened (like that really nasty ??? that they HAD to roll in)… Jennifer is a treasure, mindful of my pets and my home. Lisa was wonderful with our pets and home while we were away! This was the first time we left our one year old mastiff and we wanted to make sure she didn’t pester our older dog too much. She did a great job of giving them a fun week while making sure both dogs got along. She left our house super clean and was very easy to work with. Nazzy has been a blessing for my kitty family. She always sends pictures and information about how my kitties are doing while I'm gone. She asks appropriate questions about their care and is kind and loving. I have always felt my kitties to be safe in her care. She helped me out with a last minute booking this Spring. Jacque was prompt, professional and most of all personable. Our dogs took to her right off the bat! This was the first time we used Rover for housesitting and Tessa was so wonderful with our two pups while we were away for the week. Our puppy can be a bit of a handful and Tessa was proactive, communicative and went the extra mile to try different things to help deter his bad behaviors while we were gone. She left our house clean and even refilled our stash of frozen Toppls so that we were good to go with puppy enrichment treats when we got home. Leaving our fur babies is always stressful but Tessa definitely made it a lot easier!
Arsen is a great house- and fur kid- sitter. From initial interview to my return home, she was competent and reliable. I have a cat and an aging dog who both have significant medical issue; didn't bother her at all. My younger dog has territorial issues; he took to her almost immediately. I returned home to happy, healthy critters, and a house in rather better shape than I left it in the whirlwind of packing and departure. I would retain her in a heartbeat for any future trips.
Danielle did an amazing job house-sitting and taking care of our kitten, Kingston, over the past few days. She spent a lot of time interacting and playing with him, which we really appreciated. Kingston can be quite the little biter, and she even went out of her way to buy him a new chew toy to help with that. She was punctual, communicative, and left our home clean and well cared for. It was clear that she genuinely enjoys spending time with animals and treats them with care and attention. We would absolutely recommend Danielle to anyone looking for a reliable and thoughtful sitter, and we would gladly book her again in the future!
Emma is great!! This was my first Rover experience and I was a little nervous going into it, but I completely trusted Emma with my pets. She provided my dog and cat with a lot of quality care, attention, and cuddles. She also was very accommodating with my schedule and communicated very well.
It can be hard to find a sitter that enjoys big dogs. Our big, goofy dogs love Clara! We appreciate that she let us know how they were doing and help them stay happy and on their routine (as it helps the smaller of our two dogs keep her anxiety down while we’re away). We will definitely call on her again.
I'm so glad we found Matthew! Our dogs are a handful and they have a hard time when we leave. But I didn't worry at all while we were gone this time. Matthew sent frequent check-ins and pictures, and my pups fell in love with him. I would absolutely recommend Matthew!
