“Alyssa is absolutely fantastic. She was so patient and sweet with our Pomeranian, who is very difficult and anxious with new people. Alyssa is also incredibly communicative and very thoughtful. I can’t recommend her enough”

“Alexis and Melisa were very nice. They came for a meet and greet first and were very flexible. On the day of the drop in, Alexis arrived early, sent several pictures and asked a couple of questions. The most important thing was for one of the dogs to eat and that happened with no problem. There was one small problem with locking my back door but I’m certain that wouldn’t happen again. All in all they are a nice couple with an adorable baby and took care of my dogs as promised.”

About: What sets me apart is my personal approach. I will treat every dog like family. I have hands on experience with puppies, including basic training and potty routines, as well as with senior dogs who need a little extra patience and gentle care. I pay close attention to each pet’s unique needs, whether it’s sticking to a special diet, administering medication, or just giving plenty of playtime and affection. I believe in open communication with pet parents and always go the extra mile to make sure your dog feels safe, happy, and loved while you’re away. Pet care is a natural part of my daily routine — it’s something I truly enjoy, not just a job. Whether it’s morning walks, playtime breaks, or winding down with a cuddle session, I make sure each pet gets the attention and care they deserve. I structure my schedule around the pets I’m caring for, keeping their routines as close to home as possible. It’s important to me that they feel safe, loved, and comfortable every single day Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or in their own, I always prioritize their comfort, safety, and happiness. In my home, I create a cozy, pet-friendly space with lots of love, playtime, and supervision — making sure they feel like part of the family. If I’m caring for them in their home, I respect their routine and environment, keeping things familiar to help reduce any stress. I stick to their feeding, walking, and medication schedules, and I always make time for bonding and attention. No matter where they are, I make sure they’re safe, cared for, and treated like my own.

About: I've owned animals my whole life, Dogs, Cats, Horses, love taking care of any animal! I am flexible with time, and love to walk dogs! Im currently taking two classes in college, so I cannot take care of pets on mondays or wednesday from 12-5pm, any other day is perfect at any time. :) I am very caring with animals, I have two cats and a dog, I have a huge black lab who I walk and also train to do cute tricks, haha and my cats are my cuddly and lovey.

About: Hi there! You can call me Joy :) when I care for your pet I will send you updates with pictures and can communicate every good, not so good, and/or boring detail with you! I do not hesitate to ask for clarification on anything when it comes to the needs of you and your pet. I am also happy to help you with any other house chores while you are away (collecting mail, watering plants, etc). I find it important to set up a meet and greet with you and your pet if possible. When I care for your pet I understand that I am in the space they call home. Building trust with you and your pet is an important first step for me to provide the best services for your needs. In 2018 I adopted a dog of my own and she is my world! I adopted my dog through Best Friends Animal Shelter and she came with little to no background information. She was fearful and showed signs of a traumatized past. I had to train a puppy during the “T-Rex” phase (RIP many articles of clothing and furniture legs” and learned that several rounds of fetch will only slow a working dog for about 20 min before they’re ready to go again. The biggest skill I learned when adopting my dog was handling her reactivity. She was the sweetest girl at home, mostly shy in the beginning and hesitant to come out of her shell. So it was a huge shock when taking her out on her first few walks to see her lunge and pull with all her might towards everything and everyone that passed by. Her size and breed made it especially stressful and embarrassing and there were many days where I felt like I couldn’t handle it. With a lot of patience and treats and maybe also some crying Kona came out of her first year at home a thriving happy girl! Bringing her home was one of the most challenging experiences of my life but watching her grow and blossom into the silly, loving pup she is has been the greatest reward. I have a set schedule at my part time job and can establish morning/afternoon/night schedules around it. I am also in the process of applying for grad school and would love to prioritize pet care as my main job if possible, I am eager to build a clientele! As the owner of a reactive dog I am comfortable reading behavioral cues that may indicate if your pet is in need of extra support, attention, or space.

About: Dogs have been loved and cared for in my family since I can remember. When I was a young girl, I had a Labrador Retriever that gave birth to ten puppies. It really strengthened and solidified my love for dogs. Currently, we have a Staffordshire Bull Terrier named Cookie. She's full of love, personality and independence. We adopted her in March of 2019 and we are so lucky to have her as part of our family. She's one of the best dogs that's been a part of our family. I'm a mom of four young men, have had dogs all my life and have a lot of love to share. I look forward to spending time with your dog and taking he or she for walks with some social stimulation and being one with nature. I love dogs so much!! Whenever I can be with doggies who love to walk, have fun and be loved, life indeed has true balance. We walk our dog, Cookie, at least twice a day, either around the neighborhood, at the park or on a hike. Always make sure she has fresh water, delicious food and lots of love.

“Claudia was wonderful! She listened to the instructions we left for dropping in to check on the dogs and kept me updated on their status. The one day she did forget to leave a Kong toy for one of my dogs, she went back to ensure he had it. I felt safe having her stop in my home and caring for the dogs. Would 100% book her again!”
