“My old cat Max is not very sociable and is very careful about who gets to see him. So whenever Heather posted pictures of Max, I couldn't believe it! “Bena was super reliable and checked in frequently with us. We did a meet and greet prior to her stay and I felt very comfortable having her in our home. Unfortunately our cat is much more shyer than I expected and hid the whole time :( . Bena reassured us that although she was hiding, that she was eating well and her litter box was being cleaned. Bena was flexible with our booking and was able to add a few more drop-ins for us last minute. I would 100% use her again in the future.”

“Great experience with Emily. She's conscientious, reliable, sends terrific and fun updates on each visit, and is willing to take on extra tasks like taking our cat to the vet when we discovered he had worms right before leaving town. She and our cat Zeke really hit it off, as I'm sure she would with any animal. Would definitely book her again.”

“Eliza was exactly what you want in a dog sitter: responsible, prompt, and caring. My pooch was well taken care of. Will certainly request her services again!”

About: Lifelong dog lover skilled with reactive, anxious dogs and puppies—experienced in training, stimulation, and gentle, attentive care. I am a dog mom myself! My Dogs name is Eggy who is a 2 year old rescue with a love of balls and social anxiety. I am currently in graduate school working towards my masters in clinical social work. With this, I have ample time to spend with furry friends. Entering someone’s home is an honor and a privilege, especially when you are in-trusted with the care and safety of a pet. With this I try to respect the expectations of every pet parent and every pet. I work to leave a home as I found it, be mindful of the needs of each pet, and express my gratitude.

“Timely, able to take a reservation on short notice, sent pictures of my pups every time. Great communication”

“Alexio is fantastic with my pets. My dog Sophie is a bit of an anxious pup and Alex has many training tricks up his sleeve to keep her comfortable and calm. When he has watched Sophie and my cat Romeo he has gone above and beyond his requested duties. My pets love him and so do I. I will continue to contact Alex first to watch my fur babies any time they need it.”

About: It might sound funny to say I have 26 years of pet care experience, but I’ve truly never known a life without animals. I grew up in a family where dogs and cats were part of the family, not just pets. Over the years, we’ve loved pugs, labs, terrier mixes, a cavapoo with epilepsy, rottweilers, dobermans, a brussels griffon, and an American bulldog. For a time, we even had bearded dragons and rabbits….every animal had a special place in our home! I’ve also had the joy of caring for households with both senior pets and energetic young ones, making sure each one got the attention and care they needed. These days, I live in Northampton with my sweet orange American Shorthair cat, Zora. Caring for animals has always been a part of who I am, and I’d love to bring that same care and love to your pets too. I’m currently a PhD candidate, and during the summer months my schedule is much more flexible, as I’ll mainly be focused on researching and writing my dissertation. I’m truly lucky to have the privilege of being adaptable with my time, which allows me to adjust to the needs of each family I work with When caring for pets, safety and trust are always my top priorities. When I’m visiting a client’s home I create a calm, secure environment where animals can feel comfortable and cared for. I take the time to learn each pet’s individual routines, preferences, and any special needs they might have from medication schedules to favorite toys. I follow the owner’s instructions closely and keep communication open with frequent updates, photos, and check-ins. I know how hard it can be to be away from your pets, so I make it a priority to be as communicative and reassuring as possible, giving you peace of mind while you’re apart. My approach is gentle, patient, and attentive, making sure every pet feels safe, loved, and stress-free while you’re away.

About: I've taken care of dogs, cats, pigs, sheep, and cows. I have been living with and caring for animals for over 15 years, whether it be for walks, day care or house sitting and overnights. I have a lot of experience with shy, timid and traumatized dogs. I have a lot of patience and respect each animal's needs. I have experience with administering medications and using an e-collar. I am currently in a graduate program. I have full availability most weekends and a flexible weekday schedule around classes. Please check with me about my Thurs/Fri availability as those are my heavier class days. I am a respectful, patient caring individual with lots of love and energy for animals. I am comfortable with crate trained animals, as well as those who sleep in the bed. I will make sure that your animal feels safe and comfortable by reading it's body language and communication around what it needs. I can be extremely affectionate and cuddly and respectful of space depending on what each individual needs. I adore and respect every animal's unique way of expressing themselves, whether it be rolling around tail wagging, nervously keeping to their corner or being a bully and vocal when they want something.

About: I grew up with 2 dogs, a bunny and 6 chickens. I have many years of pet sitting experience under my belt, including caring for older dogs who need medicine, and walking dogs of all sizes. I have also cat and chicken sat in the past. I am a student at Smith College throughout the year, and am available in the evenings and between classes/during the day (my longest continuous class block is 3 hours). I row, so I am unavailable from 4 until 7 on weeknights. When caring for your pets in your home, I am always considerate about keeping the space clean, and following your rules and routines that you have established for your pets. The safety of your pet is the number one most important thing.

“Definitely want to book Anna again! My little orange old lady cat was very well taken care of. Traveling when you have a senior animal is stressful, but Anna was thorough and Marmalade obviously liked her!”

“We have worked with Sarah a good handful of times & have only positive feedback. She is responsible, timely, communicative, and an all around lovely person. Our pup is lucky to spend time with her & we are so lucky to have found her. I recommend Sarah, wholeheartedly.”

Amanda D.
“It was obvious as soon as I met Amanda how much she loves dogs. She was down in her knees talking to Cedar as soon as she entered our home. I had no worries leaving our dog with her. She communicated consistently, sent photos of their multiple hikes in the mountains, as well as snuggles in the couch. She left our home clean (washed sheets and towels - despite this not being asked for!) and vacuumed. As a bonus she left home baked cookies on our counter when we returned. One of the best dog sitters I’ve had! Hope to have you back soon!”

Lucie G.
“Lucie took amazing care of our 4 chickens and 2 cats while we were out of town for four days. Not only was she able to handle some special requests (like moving broody hens from the nesting box daily and letting them out of the coop), she played with both our cats. All pets seemed well-fed and cared for upon our return. Lucie's easy to communicate with, very trustworthy, and has lots of personal pet experience herself --- highly recommend!”
