“Chili’s second stay with Sonia was successful! She was nervous the first time since she’s more of a socially anxious dog but the second time she seemed to ease in a bit more. Sonia sent many videos throughout the day as always!”

“Camila did a great job looking after my precious fur baby. She was excellent with communication, sent photos and updates, and was kind, courteous. Highly recommend!”

“Matthew was a dream sitter. We contacted him on short notice and he did a great job with our gal, Otter, who has significant separation anxiety. Matthew was extremely responsive - we never had to wait more than a few minutes for a response, sometimes even less. And he was extremely flexible as our schedule shifted from day to day. We will definitely be reaching out to Matthew again in the future.”

About: I love dogs and my friends always rely on me to take care of their pets while they’re out, whether it be for an evening or a few days. I have a dog of my own, Delilah, who is fun and friendly and gets along well with other animals. I work from home 90% of the week, so pet care is very easy for me. I take my own dog on multiple walks throughout the day. She is very well taken care of. I live in an apartment and it is pretty spacious for dogs to run around in. I work from home, so usually the dogs hang out with me and I’ll walk them throughout the day.

About: With years of pet care experience, I specialize in training puppies and caring for senior dogs. My genuine love for animals ensures that every pet receives personalized and attentive care. From administering medication to providing engaging playtime, I prioritize your dog's happiness and well-being, setting me apart from other sitters. Pet care fits seamlessly into my daily routine. I prioritize morning walks, afternoon playtime, and evening feeding sessions. My flexible schedule allows for frequent check-ins and personalized attention, ensuring your pet feels comfortable and loved throughout the day. By balancing my time efficiently, I can cater to each pet's unique needs, making sure they stay happy and healthy. In my home and clients' homes, I prioritize a safe, secure, and clean environment. I baby-proof areas to eliminate hazards, ensure proper hydration and nutrition, and use positive reinforcement techniques. I also maintain regular communication with pet owners, updating them on their pet's well-being and activities, ensuring trust and peace of mind.

“Adam was fantastic with our little rescue dog. Our puppy is very skittish and scared of new people, and Adam was so warm, kind, and patient with him. We were appreciative that Adam was so flexible on the timing and that he was so comfortable taking on our difficult pup. Thanks for a great doggy daycare experience!”

“Artem is a gem - a first rate dog care giver. He is so attentive to my dog’s needs. Artem expresses his warmth and compassion very easily to you and is very communicative.”

About: Hi! We’re Carrie and Gabe: lifelong dog lovers, marathon runners, and self-proclaimed pet whisperers. Carrie: I grew up with a sweet Havanese named Maddie, who was my best friend from the time I was a little girl. She taught me how to care for dogs with love, patience, and a good sense of humor (especially during bath time!). Gabe: I raised my dog Charlie from the time I was 10, and he’s still thriving! Taking him on walks around my complex in New Jersey was my favorite pastime. Today, we bring that same energy to every pet we look after—whether it’s a walk around the block, playtime in the park, or just company while you’re away. We are attentive, reliable, and love tuning into each pet’s personality to make sure they feel safe, loved, and happy. Bonus: we also are runners, so if your pup needs to burn off some energy, we got you. Let’s make your pet feel right at home—even when they’re not! Carrie works from home five days a week, 9-5 and is generally at home on the weekends as well. Gabe works from home 9-5 on Mondays and Fridays and is also home on weekends. Happy to take on any and all offers! We have a spacious one-bedroom apartment in Manhattan in a pet-friendly building with a doorman. If you have a dog, we can take walks around the block.

About: Growing up I had pets in my home and was constantly surrounded by pets in my friends’ homes. My family had 2 cats growing up, both of which eventually needed special medications on a daily basis. I’m used to both cats who want attention and cats who want to be left alone. I have also spent quite a bit of time helping to train and dogsit for my friends. I have now helped out in caring for and raising 3 separate puppies, all of whom I have dogsat overnight. One of those puppies (now grown) belongs to my partner, and I watch him quite often. He is a 25 pound poodle who is very easy mannered. I also have extensive experience watching a pair of large dogs (Norwegian Elk Hound and Japanese Akita) who belong to a close friend. These dogs require 4 walks daily for a total of 2-3 hours of exercise, daily obedience training, and close monitoring of eating and play activities. My work is fully remote, which means I will be able to spend all day with your pet, giving them as much attention as they need. My schedule is very flexible, and I can accommodate as many as 4 walks per day or as little as 2, if that’s all your dog needs. My apartment is very close to the east river promenade and the Peter Detmold dog run. If you decide to board your dog with me they will get walks by the river and time to run off-leash at the dog park. I’m also comfortable dog sitting during the week as a remote worker, and can easily work from your place if your pet prefers to stay in your home while you’re away. I live in a 3 bedroom apartment with 2 roommates, both of whom grew up with dogs and enjoy having pets of friends come to visit. While I will be solely responsible for your pet while they are in my care, rest assured there will often be two other people around to give them love. I have plenty of dog toys, a bed, food bowls, treats, a brush, and doggy bags in my apartment as it serves as a second home for my partner’s dog. My rates are flexible and can be negotiated based on level of care required for each pet. I can promise that I will love your pet, and I’m confident they will love me too.
