I had a special needs basset hound and loved giving him the extra help he needed during his life. I also have experience with puppies, big dogs, blind dogs, and shy/breeder release! “This was a first for me using this resource and Mandy was absolutely amazing to work with! She texted pictures and gave me little updates throughout her time with our dog. On top of hanging out with our dog she also helped feed our guinea pig and our lizard. I will definitely be using her again in the future and encourage anyone else to too. About: I have grown up my whole life with many different cats and dogs. So I have experience with all sizes of dogs and all moods of cats. My husband's family raises German shepherds, and I grew up with rescue cats and dogs of all breeds! We currently have a Golden Retriever dog and a House cat. For drop-in visits or dog-walking: I am a teacher, so early mornings, afternoons/evenings, and weekends are my primary availability. During the weekdays, I can do drop-ins early before school, after school, walks after school, and of course, before bedtime (after my baby goes to bed around 7pm). On the weekends, I am much more available. We do go to church on Sunday mornings, but I can still go to early morning and afternoon/evening services. For holidays, I am a bit more available as we don’t have school. While we are sleeping or away at work, puppies are put into either a kennel or a playpen to keep both our home and the puppies safe. While we are home and able to keep an eye on them, they have access to the house for playing, snuggling, or eating their meals. Water is always available, and we go outside frequently to exercise or relieve ourselves. We do have a line outside as an option for dogs to get attached to if they are a winter breed (i.e., husky) that desires to sit in the snow.

About: I’ve been caring for pets longer than I can remember - from helping grandma with her horses and barn cats to spoiling and training our own dachshund puppy and two amazing kitties - I am well equipped for any situation. Some background for me: I was born and raised in Alaska! There I took care of cats of varying abilities/disabilities/age, dogs of all sizes and abilities/disabilities/age, and fish! There’s been instances where I have stayed over a month to look over a special needs cat, and dug my car out after a heavy snow to make sure a hyper puppy gets a good hike in! I’m adaptable and communicative - you can be sure that I’ll send you plenty of photos and videos of your pet while you’re gone! Now I’m here in Minnesota to finish college, start life with my new husband, and take care of the pets in Southern Minnesota! I’m currently still a student! But I have Tuesdays, Thursdays, and the weekends for the most part completely open! Otherwise, I will make sure to check in on your pets between classes to ensure they don’t go more than four hours alone. I can’t have a pet in my apartment right now 😭 but when I’m back home in Alaska, we had a fenced area for our dog while she was still with us, and we have two full-time indoor cats. We love to spoil our animals - lots of love, kindness, and a patient environment. Just positive reinforcement and steady routines over here!

About: I’ve been dog sitting and walking since I was 8 years old. I’ve also owned 2 dogs since I was 10 years old! I spent most of my free time walking my neighbors dogs and dog sitting for them when they went out of town. I currently work full time m-f and am a full online student so I love to fit pet care into my routine as I much as possible! I can’t have pets in my current housing complex so this is the perfect way for me to spend time with others pets! I will care for your pet by ensuring they feel loved by cuddling and petting them. Taking them outdoors to ensure the fresh air and let them spread their legs. I will also make sure they get enough play time and the attention they need throughout the day. About: I’m always asking friends and family if they need someone to watch their animals or even just take them for a walk because I love animals! Of all shapes and sizes. I am currently working from home so I’ll be able to spend all day with your pal! I can let them out, feed, cuddle as needed. I live in a house with plenty of room to roam and a great window view for your animal! I do not have a fenced in yard so letting dogs out would be supervised on a leash.

About: I have taken care of dogs since I was younger and I can walk, bath, play and give treats to your furry babies. I have experience with distributing medications. I understand having a healthy diet for your animals, if they need to be fed a certain diet, I will follow there meal plan. I love training puppies and taking care of senior dogs. When your furry baby is left with me, I treat all dogs like they are my own. I am currently not working, I stay home with my three year old, I am available during the week, weekends and overnights. I have a golden doodle, she is 9 and loves any dogs. I do not have a fenced in area, my dog does not need a leash, but she respects other dogs that do need leashes. When it is nice, my dog likes to sub bathe in the sun. I like to let my dog out every 2-3 hours, unless its an old dog, then I understand to do every hour or even a new puppy every 30 minutes. I have a baby proofed house, so animals are safe in my household. If your dog needs medication, I can distribute medications. We love playing catch and walks in this household. Any dog is welcome into my home, even if your dog doesn't like other dogs, I will accommodate your dogs needs to make sure they are happy. I currently work overnights, 6 days a week, but can accommodate any needs for your furry babes. I can move my daytime schedule through the week, since it is fairly flexible. I do not have a fenced in backyard, but I will use walking leashes to let them outside and/or if you like your dogs to just roam, I’m okay with that too. I will have eyes on your pets to make sure they are safe.

Our flight home was a late night flight and we knew the dogs would be okay for the amount of time we planned for them to be alone, but she went above and beyond and stopped back to let them out an extra time.
