About: I’m recently retired and have had dogs all my life, since being 7 years old. I had to put my last fur baby to sleep in January 2026 and will be traveling over the next few years so don’t want to get another right now, and really miss having a doggo around! I used Rover quite a bit when I had dogs so would love to pay it forward and help someone else. Plus then I hopefully will get my fix of dogs! I’m currently very flexible, having just retired. I usually walk first thing in the morning and then after dinner with our British lab, Lilly. Live in Madison Lake but willing to drive to Mankato or St. Peter, for pet sitting or dog walking. We have a small British lab but she is not in the house much; she is a sweet, lover dog that prefers to hang outside in her luxury kennel outside. About: Hi! My name is Sage and I specialize in animal caretaking and welfare. I have lived my entire life with at least one animal in the house and I have been dog sitting on and off since high school. I am certified in three years of dog training and currently live with my lovely cat, London. Over the years, I've worked for a vet clinic, the Lake Superior Zoo, raised animals on a farm, and supported various pet rescue organizations. I have a baby proofed house, so animals are safe in my household. If your dog needs medication, I can distribute medications. We love playing catch and walks in this household. Any dog is welcome into my home, even if your dog doesn't like other dogs, I will accommodate your dogs needs to make sure they are happy. I currently work overnights, 6 days a week, but can accommodate any needs for your furry babes. I can move my daytime schedule through the week, since it is fairly flexible. I do not have a fenced in backyard, but I will use walking leashes to let them outside and/or if you like your dogs to just roam, I’m okay with that too. I will have eyes on your pets to make sure they are safe.

About: I walked dogs with a company for 4 years while living in New York City. The company specialized in individual household care, walking only the dogs of the household at a time. So no mess of leashes, just one-on-one (or two) dogs at a time. I previously owned a cat with a medical condition, so I have medication experience and emergency experience. I have a cat of my own and she gets baths, so you know I am not afraid of a pet being a bit of a handful. But, I added an optional bathing/nail trimming fee of $10, because cat claws are a work hazard. Brushing I am happy to do, every time for free. I have a part time evening job, so I am home most of the day until 4pm - 8pm. I don't go out much, so while in my home, your pet would have constant attention and supervision. My home has two bedrooms, and I converted my second bedroom into a pet room. It provides plenty of space for cats to hang out, including blankets, toys, and a big window to sit in and watch the birds. The bedroom is sectioned off by a gate, but my whole home is open to your pet if they choose to come out. The gate is only there for your pet's privacy, as we have a tortie cat and a corgi dog of our own. They are both very sweet and get along well with cats. We also provide litter box (not litter), food dishes (not food), and toys. But, always feel free to bring your own. And, never hesitate to ask questions!

About: Hi! My name is Sage and I specialize in animal caretaking and welfare. I have lived my entire life with at least one animal in the house and I have been dog sitting on and off since high school. I am certified in three years of dog training and currently live with my lovely cat, London. I’ve never met a pet that I haven’t loved, and past employers would describe me as dependable, easy-going, and kind. Now that I am starting school again, my hours of availability have become a bit slim. However, my weekends are entirely open, and I have enough time between classes to provide service to any animal who needs my attention. In my home, I live with my cat London, and four other housemates. If your animal stayed with me, they would never feel alone and would always have somebody in the house that can watch them or be there for all their needs. We have a lovely backyard full of grass, a back deck for lounging and sunbathing and a large neighborhood for daily walks. Your pet would feel like a king or queen in a castle! :)
About: I have fostered any age dog for 3 years! Have a dog of my own for 10 and grew up on a farm with many dogs and cats. Also going to school for a vet tech. I can take on a couple dogs or cats any day of the week. Someone is always home. Have 7 people in the house with 4 adults and 3 teens. I have a fenced yard and a dog friend to play with. Also have 6 other people i. My home to help out. Am very good at calming animals and have reiki experience with animals.
