About: I have been caring for a large variety of animals since I was 13, including dogs, cats, reptiles and small mammals. I have worked in various pet care positions including wildlife rehabilitation, animal educator, and pet care specialist. I have done volunteer work with local shelters and rehabilitation centers since I could work. I am known within my community as the "animal girl" and am frequently contacted for advice, care, and pet sitting. I am fairly new to this app, but am definitely not new to caring for any kind of animal big or small. I currently work at Stony Brook University mon-fri 9am-1pm. The rest of my days are usually open and able to be moved around to your schedule and needs! I currently do not offer services in my home as I have a dog who takes a while to warm up to strangers. Future opportunities may be available, but right now I am prioritizing her comfortability.

She took care of my two cats for a week while I was in the process of moving, and from the very start (booking on the app) she made everything so easy and completely stress-free. She was incredibly communicative, flexible, and accommodating with scheduling - which I really appreciated while things were a little hectic on my end. She sent me at least three updates a day, complete with photos and little notes about how they were doing, what they were up to, and how they were eating and behaving. It was so reassuring and honestly a huge relief to know they were being so well looked after. One of my cats acts like she owns the place (any place) and the other is pretty shy and takes a while to warm up to new people. Lindsay easily accommodated their individual personality preferences and silly sibling dynamic so that both cats were clearly getting lots of love and attention every day. About: I follow instructions that are left for the pet, I interact with the pet alot and treat it as my own. I make sure it is given unconditional love and care that all animals deserve!! Part time in the afternoons or on the weekends with advanced notice. During the week after 5pm and on the weekends between 10am-9pm, unless it’s overnight then the hours are more flexible. I am in an enclosed apartment, that is spacious and has a patio for the pet to chill with fresh air. I also have a lot of areas to play around the complex that is friendly to four legged creatures, I live near numerous outdoor amenities including parks and beaches for the pet to explore. The entire neighborhood is very welcoming to pets and it could easily make a play date.

I’ve been working at a dog kennel for almost 2 years, and I have a lot of experience with walking dogs. I’m working full time at the kennel currently, and I walk a lot of dogs throughout each day. Dog walking has became something that is a part of my daily routine. I have a lot of pets at home, and I work with dogs as well. I know how to properly walk a dog to make sure they are safe.

About: From fish and frogs and hamsters to dogs and cats I have had and also taken care of many different animals. I had a yellow lab growing up for 17 years and she was mine and my family’s whole world. Now I spend my time taking care of friends pets when they are away and my neighbors two adorable cats. One of which was adopted as an outdoor stray so he sometimes comes over to my house for some food, belly rubs, and a nap.
