About: I am a retired elementary school teacher and have taught children for the past 32 years. I’ve always loved animals, especially dogs, and am eager to care for them when they are alone. I am available throughout the day and for planned vacations. I’m retired and am available to go to your home and care for your dog. I don’t have a dog of my own anymore and am eager to play, care and walk your dog. I’m available to feed, walk and play with your dog. I’m happy to go to your home but also have a fenced in yard where your dog can run and play with me.

Unfortunately, my Dog suddenly passed away and I did not use them . I did however save their contact information and now 9 months later , I have a new puppy. “This August we sought a warm and private alternative to the larger dog camps because our dog sitter (my daughter) was returning to college. Eliana and her entire family were warm & welcome. They allowed us to stop by for a meet & greet and even taught my dog (12 yr old) how to use a doggie door. Guess you can teach an old dog new tricks. Eliana is amazing! She sent us pictures throughout the day during every visit & told me about the emotional state of my dog (sad because she misses my daughter). That meant the world to me. God bless Eliana & family. “I am what you would consider a little "crazy" or "over protective" of my dog, and I have a hard time trusting anyone to care for him. I contacted Laurie after I had heard great reviews about her from the dog park. Within the first five minutes of meeting Laurie, I knew she was a very caring person who could easily be trusted! Someone who invests in astro turf for their yard, and uses not one, but two fences to keep these dogs safe is someone who cares! I felt very comfortable leaving my dog in her care and I am grateful to know that I can bring my dog to daycare without having to worry about his safety. He also had a lot of fun! I'm a home health aide my hours are very flexible, I would like to take care of your wonderful dog. I was born in Puerto Rico and I currently live in Long Island, I have a beautiful daughter, and 13 years old son, all who loves animals just as much as I do. I have a adorable 11 year old English Cocker spaniel named Snowflake , 3 year old French Bulldog named Lexie , 2 year old French Bulldog named Diesel and an Sphynx Cat named Theo. Your dog will get all the love and attention that it would need. Looking forward to taking care of your wonderful pets. Your doggie will wake up to breakfast and playtime in the yard followed by a full day of love and fun! During nap time, your dog will be enjoying their private doggie suite. When we created our private doggie suite, I was thinking of all the things I would want our dogs to have if we were away. Our checklist of amenities include: - private couch/futon for lounging - clean fresh water bowls 24/7 - several breaks for play time outside - 24 hour recorded camera monitoring in - secured locked doors -AC and/or heat & fans with temp alerts - TV and ALEXA/echo music - fenced secure yard - easily cleaned floors **rates are for 24 hour periods. After 24 hours, it’s $10 an hour. - puppies and tiny dogs may stay in smaller secure area or my be bought in our home. -LOTS OF LOVE AND ATTENTION ❤️ When taking care of dogs, it's important to provide them with plenty of exercise and mental stimulation. Here are some fun activities I can do with the dogs I watch: Walking is a great way to provide dogs with exercise and mental stimulation. I Choose different routes and places to walk, such as a local park, beach, or hiking trail. Most dogs love playing fetch. I can take your dog or dogs with your permission to a fenced dog's park and play a game of fetch with a ball or frisbee. Dogs love to play with toys, such as squeaky toys or tug ropes.

About: I've always had a special connection with dogs. Ever since primary school, I volunteered to walk all my neighbors' dogs and would stay to play with them for hours—tug-of-war and frisbee were our favorites. I've walked dogs of all sizes, sometimes up to three at a time. Getting my own puppy was the best thing in the world for me, and I naturally have endless patience for animals. Throughout college, I walked and sat for my piano professor's dog for years—around the neighborhood, and I also drove him to dog parks and beaches. On top of that, I've volunteered at an animal shelter, cleaning dog and cat rooms and socializing with the animals. I currently can't have a dog of my own because I fly in and out for work. That's why I'm doing this part-time — it's never an assembly line for me. Each dog gets my full, individual attention, and I truly make friends with every one of them. I'm a sound designer and composer working on contract-based stage productions, which gives me a flexible schedule. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine — I walk dogs at least three times a day, feed them as many times as requested, and make sure they get plenty of playtime outside of my work hours. Since I'm not working a rigid 9-to-5, I can easily adjust my day around each dog's needs, whether that means extra cuddles, a longer walk, or a spontaneous trip to the dog park. Plus, because I fly in and out for work and can't have my own dog right now, caring for other people's dogs is something I genuinely look forward to and prioritize every single day. I live in a first-floor condo apartment in a neighborhood with lots of green areas — perfect for dogs who love quick potty breaks and longer sniffing walks. I let dogs free roam throughout my home and they're absolutely allowed on furniture. I treat every dog as if they were my own, which means lots of freedom, comfort, and attention. Since I do this part-time, I never have more than two unfamiliar dogs at once, so each dog gets a calm, focused environment. I'm extremely respectful of their space and routines — I follow all feeding, walking, and medication instructions to the letter, and I always leave things cleaner than I found them.
