I not only process applications for the organization, but I actively “babysit” pups overnight (sometimes 3 days at a time) for their fosters who occasionally are away on the weekends. About: For 15 years, I have loved and cared for my animals. I was lucky enough to receive excellent training for my shepherd/husky and incorporate the methods during interactions with other animals as well as my new puppy. I completely understand needing reliable care when away. Patience, exercise and attention work wonders!! I'm currently working remote on Thursdays and am able to fit walks in throughout the day as well as during weekends. A varied schedule is fine!! Ensuring the animal's environment is the same when I leave as when I arrive is necessary to prevent injury or any accident. My yard is completely fenced in and equipped to play and run!

Ever since primary school, I volunteered to walk all my neighbors' dogs and would stay to play with them for hours—tug-of-war and frisbee were our favorites. I've walked dogs of all sizes, sometimes up to three at a time. Getting my own puppy was the best thing in the world for me, and I naturally have endless patience for animals. Throughout college, I walked and sat for my piano professor's dog for years—around the neighborhood, and I also drove him to dog parks and beaches. About: I've had the pleasure of caring for dogs since I was 13. I've had my own dogs, as well as caring for and watching many friends' and neighbors' dogs overnight.
