He took the time to introduce Bleau to his dog slowly and properly, which made us feel really comfortable right away. He’s an older dog with some anxiety issues, and Freedom handled him with so much patience, kindness, and calm energy. They went above and beyond. They took him to the dog park not once but twice, made homemade treats, and even gifted him a sweet new bandana. When I came home, I could tell Chunky had been genuinely happy and well cared for. “This was my fiancé's and I first time traveling since we got our puppy, Nilla, and we were super anxious about it. After checking out other options we decided to give rover a try and found Daniel. About: I’ve taken care of all kinds of dogs (and other animals!) for many years. Family, friends, and co-workers have relied on me to watch and care for their pets whether it’s walking, feeding, playing, even taking them to the vet. I’ve taken care of dogs of all sizes and ages, from senior bull mastiffs to pugs under a year old. There is no dog too big or too small because they’re all perfect to me. I’ve also found lost dogs and helped them return to their owners! I have experience caring for anxious dogs, blind dogs, deaf dogs, dogs with mobility issues, and dogs that require medication. Other animals I’ve taken care of include: cats, parrots, guinea pigs, fish, rabbits, and hamsters. About: I love all animals, but I have a special place in my heart for dogs! I grew up with a family dog and have cared for many of my friends’ and family members’ pets over the past 10 years. I’ve also trained my own dog and love learning new tips and techniques to help pets thrive. Whether it’s a quick walk around the block or a long hike on the trails, I truly enjoy spending time outdoors with dogs. “Veronique and Johnathan took very good care of our dog Kulfi. Kulfi loves to be with other dogs loves to be out in the yard. She had a great time. Their dogs got along well and Kulfi was at home over the 11 days stay. She wasn’t tired or cranky or stressed when we brought her back home as was the case with a couple other boarders. “Jennifer was excellent from start to finish. Her replies were quick and friendly and she was flexible with pick-up and drop-off. Upon meeting her I knew Toby was in good hands and could see that her home and yard was safe. She sent a pic of Toby before we asked and Toby was clearly having a good stay. He spent 13 days with Jennifer and clearly got plenty of exercise as he came back in better shape. We would definitely use Jennifer again and recommend her for your fur baby needs!!”
“We had a good experience with Alejandro and I can’t thank him enough. He accepted our dog, Bleau very last minute after another sitter no-showed, which already meant so much to us. He took the time to introduce Bleau to his dog slowly and properly, which made us feel really comfortable right away. Throughout her stay, he sent daily videos and updates, so we always knew she was doing well. We even accidentally left her bowls behind, and when we went back to pick them up, Bleau was so excited to see him again — which says everything about how well she was treated. You can tell he genuinely cares about the dogs he watches.”

He had an absolute blast — especially getting to run around outside and play with the other dogs and kids, which is such a treat for him since he doesn’t get that kind of freedom in Manhattan. I could tell he was well cared for and totally in his element. Communication was great, with tons of photos daily, and I felt completely at ease knowing he was in such a loving, fun environment. “I cannot say enough good things about the care Freedom gave to my senior dog, Chunky. He’s an older dog with some anxiety issues, and Freedom handled him with so much patience, kindness, and calm energy. They went above and beyond. They took him to the dog park not once but twice, made homemade treats, and even gifted him a sweet new bandana. When I came home, I could tell Chunky had been genuinely happy and well cared for. It’s hard to find someone you trust with your pet, but I feel completely at ease leaving Chunky with Freedom anytime. I’m so thankful we found them, and I’ll absolutely be booking again.”
