Growing up with both, and now as an adult pet parent to two cats and a high-energy puppy, I’m well-versed in the needs of animals at every life stage. From playful puppies to senior pets, I’m fully prepared and confident in handling it all with patience, care, and energy. I currently run by own business from home meaning I make my own hours and am very flexible. I can do plenty of quick drop ins or more long term stays. Safety and providing a loving/nurturing experience is the most important to me. When walking, I do carry an air horn to only be used if there is a safety concern. Coyotes are plentiful in my area so I take any and all precautions.

From playtime to specialized health needs, your dog is in safe, compassionate hands! I am trained to administer medication orally and injectables, so you can leave your pup without a worry. For the young fury friends, I can assist with puppy training while in my care. I work for a general practice veterinary hospital and during my days off I provide dog walking and sitting services. if a dog has to stay over and it lapses with a work day, they get my undivided attention in the morning before work and in the evening when I come back. During the day my wife works from home and provides potty breaks to our fury friends. I provide pets plenty of exercise and attention, we go for walks early morning and evenings. during the day I provide pups with access to the fenced back yard where we play. I have 2 friendly doodles that will keep your pet company and provide playtime and stimulation.

About: I have a wide variety of experience caring for animals for over 10 years. I’ve spent time volunteering at a local animal shelter, assisted in training future service dogs and cared for many of my own family and friend’s pets. I have also raised my own dog, George, a loving and playful mini schnauzer! I work full time with the flexibility to be in and out of my home throughout the work day and can be available for local drop in visits as well. During the weekend I have open availability. For visits in my home, I have a fully fenced in yard where pets can roam and explore. I have a very friendly 3 year old mini schnauzer who is always looking for a friend. He is also crate trained and can be crated as needed. We can crate your pet if needed as well. For visits in your home, I am available to feed pets, let pets out to use the bathroom, administer medications, and play with them and their favorite toys!

“Kayla was really great checking in on our two pups. We also have a cat and some fish that she kept an eye on and fed for the weekend while she was checking in on our dogs. Kayla met with me a couple weeks ahead of time to meet the dogs and go over their routine. She also stopped by the day we left to pick up the spare keys, go over our apartment security system settings, review the care instructions for the whole gang and make sure everything any final questions were answered. She stopped in at the times requested, fed and walked the dogs as asked, and provided photos in the Rover Cards.”

About: I adopted my dog 18 months ago. The love in my heart for this creature is indescribable. I work remotely and have great flexibility. Have had cats for years. I can provide frequent walks for your furry loved one/ I currently work remotely and have great flexibility. Typically anytime weekday or weekend as long as there is advance notice. I work best with routines but can certainly adapt to last minute needs as well. I can work with whatever system you currently have in place. I also have a dog friendly set up in my vehicle if transport is ever needed. Can take on hikes or a nice stroll around the neighborhood.

About: I’ve always been around animals starting from a very young age, I’ve taken care of farm animals, dogs, cats and smaller pets like Guinea pigs. Over the past couple years, I’ve been helping my mom with her pet care as she’s been doing it full-time. About: I have had cats and dogs in my life since the age of 6. I have raised two dogs from puppies, and have a lot of experience with older dogs as my friends and family prefer to adopt. I previously fostered a Lab-Pitbull, and currently have a Pomeranian, so I have plenty of experience with dogs of all sizes. I am currently available any day of the week from 1:30pm on. I work from home, so overnight or extended stays are no issue for me! I have a big fenced in yard where dogs can run and play, and I live in a quiet neighborhood that is great for dog walks. I am available on-call to take dogs for walks in their own neighborhoods as well! I love to play fetch and give some of the best scritches in town (just ask my dog) :)
