“If you’re in need of someone to care for your dog, Alice is the person I trust the most! She is my go-to sitter whenever I’m out for a day or an entire vacation. In August, she took him in for 3 weeks while I was in the Philippines and as much as I missed him, I knew he was in wonderful hands! She’s caring and attentive. About: I’m all about keeping tails wagging and paws happy! Whether it’s epic walks, playtime, or cuddle sessions, I’ll make sure your furry BFF feels safe, spoiled, and totally at home while you’re away. I’ll send so many photos of your dog, you’ll wonder if I secretly turned them into a full-time model. 🐾 I work from home, so your pet gets my VIP (very important pet) attention morning, noon, night, and even on weekends. Basically, I’m their new best friend! In my home, pets enjoy a safe, comfortable environment with regular meals, playtime, walks, and plenty of affection, ensuring they feel happy, at home, and loved.

About: I’ve absolutely adored animals since I was 4yrs old. I started getting educated on animals at a young age and knew my dream was to work with animals. I started my professional career in the industry in 2017. I worked at a dog daycare and boarding facility for a year, then moved on to a facility for dogs and cats, which I’ve worked at since 2018. Over the years at these facilities, I’ve learned about proper care, training and grooming techniques for dogs, and care for cats. I have plenty of experience working with different breeds of dogs from the smallest teacup poodle, to the chunkiest bulldog, to the biggest Great Dane. I’ve worked with many different breeds, sizes and personalities in large daycare groups, so I’ve learned how to manage different demeanors in different settings. With cats, I understand their boundaries and don’t like to force any interaction on them, but if they are comfortable with it I give them lots of love. I’ve also volunteered at a shelter for dogs, cats, birds, reptiles, and rodents. At the shelter, I focused on learning how to properly care for rodents and cats. *I don’t discriminate against any pet’s breed, size, age, medical condition, etc. I treat them all with the best care.* **I am able to dispense oral medication to pets if necessary. I AM NOT CERTIFIED TO GIVE INJECTION (NEEDLE INVOLVED) MEDICATION** I work in Gardena in the afternoon-evening Mon-Fri, but typically am home or close by during most of the day and on weekends. I tend to stay local when running errands. My apartment is gated and a code or key is needed to enter the premises. We have a large grass area right out front, which is not gated. There’s plenty of grass and parks in the neighborhood to go to during walks. My apartment is on the second floor with the luxury of having the parking garage underneath me, so your pet running around the house won’t disturb anyone! I stay alert and aware of my surroundings at all times for safety purposes. I have multiple rooms and gates to separate pets when necessary (feeding, bedtime, rest breaks…etc.) My pets are flea treated regularly and stay up to date on their vaccines. **IMPORTANT NOTICE BELOW!!! In order to keep my home a healthy and clean environment for all, IF PETS ARRIVE WITH FLEAS I require a $50-$100 cleaning fee AND a flea bath may apply with a MINIMUM charge of $38/pet bathed. I HIGHLY recommend flea treatments and checking your pets for fleas BEFOREHAND to avoid additional charges. ADDITIONALLY, if your pet causes any damages to my property there will be a MINIMUM charge of $25 for repairs/replacements.**

“Jane is a wonderful dog sitter for my pet Zoey. I can tell Zoey was well taken care of because she’s always happy when I pick her up. She gives great updates and I love how all the dogs get along so well. Jane is highly dependable and flexible with my sporadic work schedule. Thank you so much Jane for the great service and I’m happy to have found a regular dog sitter for Zoey. Highly recommend.”

“Amazing experience! My dog had the time of her life. Stephen was very friendly, he treated my dog like his own. Thank you Stephen!!!”

“We loved Cindy to watch our pup. She set up a meet and greet so we could see if she was a good fit and we immediately felt comfortable. We felt that our pup would be safe and loved while she was hanging out with Cindy. Loved her setup, lots of secure outdoor space, and clean interior. Daisy came home worn out and happy. She seemed excited to go back the next day and Cindy even got our stubborn girl to go on a walk. Loved that I could ask for updates and was periodically sent photos and videos. Felt very good about leaving Daisy with Cindy. 100% will be bringing Daisy back!”

About: I've had my own animals of all kinds, growing up and my whole life. From all different kinds pets to farm animals. I take care of other people's animals regularly and is something I really enjoy doing. I homeschool my 9 year old daughter who is also an animal lover. We are home majority of the time unless we are off doing a, usually dog friendly excursion. We love the dog beach! My daughter and I love to play with dogs and go for lots of walks. I have a fenced in yard with a doggy door for while we are home.

About: Cats, dogs, birds, growing up in Long Island everyone had a pool and a pet. They make great company it’s a piece of cake taking care of them. I am currently available almost all the time. I just got a part time house sitting and dog walking job, but I am looking to take on much more. We have a large theee bedroom three bathroom house. I love walking around in this safe and quiet neighborhood and there’s a huge park nearby.

“Rachel is awesome, she watches stitch all the time with no issues. Very good at responding last minute and has great experience with pups. Thanks Rachel!!!”

Bryan V.
“Bryan has always loved animals especially dogs. From an early age his parents got him fish, then birds, then a guinea pig, and even a rabbit. They finally gave in when they saw him ( about 7) walking around holding a box turtle against his chest petting it. He’s almost always had a dog. They usually jump into bed with him when he goes to bed. Nobody loves dogs more than Bryan. Dogs seem to sense that and reciprocate.”

North Torrance dog parents share their Rover experiences
Stephen was great with Cid and so accommodating when we needed to push back the pickup time from what was originally scheduled. Stephen also sent several pics during the course of the day. Overall, Cid had a great time and would definitely recommend and use again!

Trisha is the best! Turtle always has the best time with her. She always has activities for him, takes him on lots of walks, sends lots of pictures and has the sweetest feedback everytime. We are so happy to have her watch Turtle. We can tell how happy Turtle is with her and her family.

Reliable and Attentive Care: I was grateful to have someone reliable to watch William Bear and Christopher Evan while we were away. Communication was clear and consistent, and I appreciated getting updates and photos during their stay. I could tell our dogs were well cared for—they came home calm, happy, and clearly well looked after. That peace of mind is what matters most to us. Thanks again for keeping our boys safe and comfortable!

Julie looked after our two 16 lb dogs so we could do an event nearby in Manhattan Beach. When we returned, they were happy to see us, but they also looked like they'd really bonded with Julie. She was very quick to communicate about all issues. Highly recommended. Her home has a grassy lawn on the ground floor making it ideal.
