About: Caring for people and pets comes naturally to me. I worked in nursing for several years before leaving to care for my father full time.between that and being a mom giving love and care comes easy. I have 3 dogs of my own, all of which are friendly and love a bit of play time. I am a big believer in fresh air and exercise. Let's get those steps in for your 4 legged family member. I don't work a regular job, I care for my elderly father and do some side work here and there. So I am available for walking or drop in visits at a moments notice. I have a fenced in yard and food and treats at the ready. Many leashes and brushes and more. I have 3 dogs of my own that love to play with each other and yours too. I can also keep my dogs away if yours isn't socialized to others.
About: I’ve been around animals my whole life, of all shapes and sizes. I love all animals. I’ve grown up with hunting dogs, big dogs, farm animals, and cats. I am always willing to go for midday lunch walks or weekend check ins while you are out and about being social (in the Ankeny/Polk City area). About: We lost our beloved dog "Chester" in 2022 and our home has felt empty ever since. Both my husband & I have grown up with dogs & we loved playing, walking and cuddling w/Chester. The unconditional love he provided to our family was priceless. My husband & I are empty nesters as of last fall, 2023 & we are available to care and watch your dog on a weekday or weekend.. About: I have 7 years of experience working with senior dogs who need a little extra care when it comes to medications and transportation. I am able to lift 140 lbs to help the forever puppies with powder sugar faces. I am currently between jobs after graduating and have plenty of time to go on “w.a.l.k’s” or play with pups! About: I live and work downtown (full-time remote). I can host your pet overnight in my home; stay overnight in your home if needed. Pop-in visits to provide breaks, walks, feeding if you live within a reasonable distance. I can also provide day care services if needed. I do not have a crate but bringing your own crate is optional but not required. House broken/trained is preferred. I prefer to host 1 dog at a time. 2 dogs from the same household would be possible but prefer not to mix dogs from multiple households. ***House-sitting notice - I do have an 11lb Havanese puppy that would accompany me for overnight house-sitting assignments. He's house-trained and does not shed and very friendly with other dogs.*** I usually reply to requests within 10-20 min. If it's after 11 then the next morning. I work remote full-time Mon to Fri 8-5. Can do pop-in visits, walks and feeding as needed or on a set schedule that works best for your pet's current routine. Condo here and unfortunately do not have a yard but there are lots of green spaces near my condo at 10th and Mulberry. Space is over 1200 sq ft so plenty of room for your pet. I do have an 11 lb Havanese puppy that loves attention but is very smart and picks up on queues from other dogs. Shy and timid upon introduction and will play only if the other dog engages. Loves people and attention.
