“Geleea was amazing with my cat and helped her feel right at home. She provided me with pictures and videos ensuring her safety and also took her in pretty last minute! thank you so so much!”

“Absolutely loved her!!!! She was so welcoming with my dog! She would keep me updated on my dog! And she just so nice, she also took my dog to her moms house for thanksgiving so my dog wouldn’t be alone which I thought was really nice and thoughtful! Definitely recommend!! You’ll want her to babysit your dog!!”

“Koopa is ver comfortable in their home. He walks in and walks directly to the back door to enjoy the fenced in backyard. Nan and her family administer his medication and take great care of him!”
“Wai was amazing! She took a lot of care to ask lots of questions to best accommodate our dog, sent us daily updates and photos, and far exceeded what was expected! I will be using her from now on”

“Heather took excellent care of our two dogs. It was their first night away from home and they were relaxed and happy when we came to pick them up. We’ve already booked their next stay with her. I’m happy to recommend her services!”

“Alexis sent pics and videos and was wonderful getting my little dog to take his meds and eat his food. It was apparent that both of my dogs were happy and well taken care of. I goofed up the reservation and Alexis explained to me patiently and kept the dogs until I got back from my trip the day later to pick them up. Alexis watched my dogs when they were outside even though her yard is fenced. She was great with both of my dogs!”

“We were so lucky to have connected with such a great family at the last minute when our original sitter fell through. They helped him get warmed up with a meet and greet and then our 3 month old pup was excited to go back the next day to stay. He found his home away from for a week and was sad leaving his new friends. Diana and her family took great care of our boy while we were on vacation, helped house train him, and taught him a few commands. It was nice having peace of mind that he was in good hands and getting updates and pictures while we were missing our fur baby. 10/10 HIGHLY recommend!”

“Anne is amazing! She made our fearful dog feel comfortable and happy. We were able to relax knowing she was in great hands! Couldn’t recommend Anne more”

“Alexis is great to work with and our kitties do well at her home. She spent extra time with our kitties helping them adjust to being in a new place. The daily pictures and updates are a comfort in knowing they are doing ok. Definitely recommended!”

“Fantastic experience!! Couldn’t be happier. She sent tons of updates and we know that our girl was well cared for. She even was accommodating and kept her a couple of extra days when our flights were canceled! We will absolutely use her again! Thanks Amara!”

“Our first experience ever using this site came with Tiffney and my wife and I couldn’t have been any happier with the experience. We made the mistake of not booking our dog a kennel with a boarder during spring break, but it ended up working out well! Tiffney and her daughter truly provided our fur baby with a loving home and even a new couple furry friends (Tiffney’s dogs). Tiffney opened her doors on short notice and gave our pup a roof and needed attention for almost 8 days.”

About: I have been a dog parent for 5+ years and truly believe they are part of our family. My husband and I have been trusted to care for many friends and family’s dogs and love when our own dog has others to interact/connect with! ❤️ I am at home most of the time taking care of my own dog and keeping her company while my husband is at work. When I do leave the house, I normally time it so my dog is alone no longer than 4 hours at a time. When we care for pets in our home, we like to make sure they go outside at least every 2-4 hours for potty breaks and play time, follow their food and medication schedule, and make sure they all get the love and attention they need!
“Joscelyn and her family took such good care of Willow! My husband and I had no worries whatsoever about her staying with them and felt we could fully relax while we were away. I honestly think our dog had more fun with them playing with their dog than at our house 😂. We WILL be taking Willow over again when we have to be out of town.”

“I am so grateful to have found Nancy. I was nervous about leaving my dog, Mazi but this was the perfect place. Mazi is a rescue dog from a life of abuse and very timid and fragile. They were wonderful with her and their dogs were very sweet. The stream of photos sent were very reassuring. I am booking them again for a longer stay and can't express how grateful I am to have a save, loving place for Mazi to stay.”

“This was the first time I used Rover, Alicia was great! I went on vacation and had to leave my senior Lab mix Sugiebear behind for the first time. She is 12 yrs old and has some health issues. Alicia's home is very neat and was accommodating to my Sugiebear 's needs. Alicia took great care of her and sent me pics and updates everyday. I also had car trouble coming home which caused me to be late picking Sugiebear up, Alicia was very understanding. I will definitely be using Alicia again and I will be recommending her to everyone I know. Many thanks”

“We had a great experience with Amber. She was always quick to answer and flexible with our schedule to drop off/pick up. She kept us updated with pictures of Ginger and was very kind. Her dog Tater and Ginger had a great time together! We would definitely recommend her.”

About: We provide residential boarding in both our house and finished barn depending on availability and needs. You can schedule a tour. Drop off and pick up time as early as 7am and 11pm. Playtime in the yard is included. You can pay extra for a daily walk. Charged a flat rate per night. Updates available during stay. All dogs are welcome small, big, young, old, friendly, and we are also capable of caring for aggressive dogs. As a family business, my wife Valerie is home during the day to care for clients and I’m home in the evening and weekends to assist. Client needs are met with compassion and knowledge. Care is discussed in detailed and documented. Updates are sent as requested. Dogs in the house must be able to be crated, otherwise the large indoor/outdoor runs in the barn are a better option.

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - New Haven
Melissa took our two pups on super short notice and they had the best time. She sent many updates with pictures which weren’t necessary but absolutely appreciated for anxiety ridden moms like me. Will definitely be using her again for future trips and am thankful for how well she took care of our dogs.

Kimeryn was so wonderful with my Pyrenees, Willow. She provided updates daily to let us know how Willow was doing. She made Willow feel like a part of her family immediately. Willow got a bath while she was there and she looks incredible! I would book her again in the future!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in IN ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
