“How I know Ellie is an amazing sister for Marshall? Just disassembling his crate tells him he is going and he gets very excited. He and their dog are perfect attitude for each other.”

About: I’ve been taking care of dogs since I was about 10 years old, babysitting family and friends dogs along with taking care of my own dogs. I’ve been around them for as long as I can remember! I currently work three 12 hour shifts a week at the hospital, but I am looking to fill my days off with some doggy care! I will care for your dog at your home in the best way that I possibly can! I have a small dog of my own, I treat him as if he’s my child and I will do the same for any and every dog I take care of:)
“We are very happy with the care Sophie received while she was with John. He is calm, kind and accommodating. His communication is excellent and we really enjoyed the pictures he sent. We would definitely recommend him to others and plan to be a repeat customer.”

“Christina was great and would recommend her. She provided daily updates and was easy to communicate with throughout the process, from originally booking all the way up past my pup being picked up. Will definitely use Christina again in the future!”

“Paige was wonderful with Max and so sweet! We loved seeing daily pictures of him being part of the family just like at home. We will definitely check with Paige next time we travel! ❤️”

“Christina was great to work with! She and her family took great care of Lizzy. And when I made a few mistakes with the booking Christina was very accommodating. I will definitely book with her again in the future!”

“I would recommend Haylie and her family! They took care of our new addition to our family while we were away a few days. They were very understanding of her anxiety of being away from her family for the first time since we got her. They took good care of her. She was clean and everything I dropped off for her was also well cared for. She sent multiple videos and photos throughout the stay. I would rebook with Haylie in the future.”

“Nancy was absolutely wonderful with our little buddy. This was our first time using Nancy and won't be our last. She sent us two sets of pictures to put us at ease that he was adjusting to his surroundings. Thanks Nancy & Mike for our trial run.”

“Cameron was GREAT. He was a prompt communicator, very friendly, and me feel comfortable leaving Checo to be watched by his sister and him (I'm a first time app user). They were both very nice people and kept me posted when I checked in to see how Checo was behaving. I could tell Checo enjoyed his stay with them. I highly recommend him and plan on being a repeat customer in the future for Checo's boarding needs.”

“Adrienne was absolutely wonderful in caring for our dog for a week! She was very thorough in making sure she understood what we wanted for Sadie (our dog). This was our first trip away from Sadie and Adrienne had us perfectly at ease with loving on Sadie & sending us updates. I would definitely recommend her!”

“This was the first time I have had someone watch my two huskies on Rover. Kristan absolutely exceeded my expectations! She was wonderful and took my huskies (who can be a handful) on several walks and sent me cute pictures. I could tell my dogs were very well loved and happy to be there. Kristan was excellent at communicating and giving me updates. 10/10 will definitely book with her again.”

“We are so grateful for Joseph and his family for their care in watching our dog, Jack. On the day we were to drop Jack off to Joseph, Jack had an accident where she required veterinary care. Joseph was still willing to accept Jack and administer antibiotics and pain medication for a week while we were traveling. Joseph sent daily pictures and provided updates so we felt more at ease. Joseph and his entire family show care and love when Jack really needed it. I fully recommend them. Thank you.”

“Fudge had a great time making new furry friends and came home happy and well cared for. Kevin kept us updated throughout the stay with regular messages and adorable photos, which really put our minds at ease. Highly recommend his services—we’ll definitely be back!”

“Samantha and James are amazing people aside from caring for George :) They went above and beyond caring of our pup while we were out of town. Samantha was proactive with communication and pics - putting our minds at ease that George was doing well and thriving. We are so incredibly grateful they folded George into their loving home at the last minute with confidence and joy. We would absolutely recommend Samantha and James to any one!”

“Jennifer & Tom were so wonderful!! We were so amazed by their quick response to any questions as well as their daily updates….. with lots of pics….of Gus!! It was evident from the moment that we met Jennifer & Tom that they were true “dog people” We will MOST DEFINITELY use them again and feel so lucky that we found them. Gus came home happy…. And spoiled. He loved his daily walks with their dogs, Duncan & Donut, as well as the cuddle time with Tom. Love these two and highly recommend!! ❤️❤️❤️”

“Dawn and her family took the best care of my “family “!!! First time using rover. First time boarding and Dawn made me feel better about having to leave my pups. Thank you!! I highly recommend Dawn!!”

“Gilda was fantastic with our two cats! She sent lots of photos and the cats almost didn't want to leave! You can tell they had good play time and attention throughout their stay with her. :)”

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in IN ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
