Dogs want for nothing with us. I love hanging out with my pups and our guests. To be honest, they are more fun than most people anyway.

Outside I have a large fenced-in yard that my dogs take full advantage of. They stay out there and stalk squirrels as long as I allow them to. PLEASE LET ME KNOW IF YOUR PUP LIKES TO JUMP!! The fence is 4.5ft. and easily able to be jumped by a dog who really wants to get over it. It has never happened, but seriously I spend WAY more time than I should worrying that it will. Inside, they’re free to do whatever they’d like. Couch, bed, chairs, you name it. I also have individually gated areas so guest dogs have their own space to go if they need a little break. Crates are welcome, but not necessary if they don’t use them at home. I also have plenty of crates here so no need to lug them around. A blanket, towel, or bed, something that smells like home and their food is all we need! Feeding time is ALWAYS done separately.

What is your dog's thing? Every dog has one. Rudy is protective of his food and his best friend "Ball", so, food and Ball are not allowed out when guests are over. Marge LOVES people. She will hug them, slow dance, and never leave them alone so long as they are paying attention to her. Some people don't like that. Getting to know their "thing" is what I do, but if you know it already, drop me a hint.

We are Rudy and Marge. We are low to medium energy and LOVE to play with friends! We can run circles for hours, or nap all day. We adjust well to our guest dogs’ energy. First thing is first, we have to go outside immediately after waking up to check the squirrel situation. We then go in and demand breakfast, water, rubs, and treats, but go right back out to rodent patrol. We pretty much do whatever we want. Eventually, mean mom makes us come in for dinner. We MIGHT take a snooze, but we just know those rodents are out there laughing at us, so better get back out. The sun goes down and we still bark at what appears to be nothing to the human eye, but we know something is there. Mom then makes us come in for bed. We jump up first and get the best spots, obviously. She can sleep wherever. We will flip upside down, snore loudly, and push Mom to the edge of the bed (the audacity of that woman). Then we’ll wake up and start over. COME ON MOM! GET UP!

Erfahrung in der Haustierbetreuung
Dogs are my passion. I moved to FTW in 2020 from Cincinnati where I was a volunteer at the Stray Animal Adoption Program, and had regular dog walking, daycare, and boarding clients. I have two dogs, Rudy and Marge, that LOVE to play with guest dogs! We are used to them all. Small, large, seniors, puppies, tons of energy, and snuggly couch potatoes!

Took real good care of her babies kept us updated and how they were doing with text messages and pictures would use again

Moses was well cared for while we were out of town.

Melissa took great care of our two dogs while we were out of town for the weekend! She was easy to communicate with, flexible with drop off and pick up times, and sent update pictures every day. They had a great stay!

I loved the updates on Madison while we were out of town. I knew she was in good hands and safe. The process using Rover was seamless and will use Melisa again for boarding in the future.
