About: Greyhound lady with over a decade training and caring for dogs, including certifying two rescued racetrack greyhounds as therapy dogs through Bright and Beautiful Therapy Dogs. I've cared for five rescue dogs over the years — four greyhounds and a pug mix — handling everything from puppy adjustment to senior care, including medications, mobility needs, and end-of-life support. I use calm, positive-reinforcement handling and I'm skilled at reading a dog's stress or comfort level in real time, so walks stay relaxed and enjoyable. I'm also experienced with nervous or reactive dogs, having safely de-escalated an unleashed dog confrontation while working a mail route. My own dog takes 1.5 hours walk per day. We love Donaldson Park and the Highland Park Meadows, Johnson Park, Cheesequake and Morristown National Park for treats. Safety comes first on every walk. I read each dog's body language and comfort level before we even leave the door, and I adjust pace, route, or duration accordingly — a skill I built training two rescued greyhounds as certified therapy dogs. I stay alert to hazards like other loose animals, traffic, and extreme heat, and I know how to calmly de-escalate a tense situation if one arises. I treat every pet with the same patience and care I give my own rescue dogs, and I communicate clearly with owners before and after each walk so they always know how their pet is doing.

About: I've taken care of dogs since I was 7 years old. I grew up with a German Shepherd named Eva, the love of my life. While a sophomore in high school, I began working at a dog daycare called Pups@Play Montclair. That job gave me invaluable knowledge of dog behavior and relationship dynamics. I learned the intricacies of their behavior, body language, personality, whether they were high energy or low energy, active or reactive, etc. I used that to diffuse many doggy disputes. I worked with and managed 50+ dogs everyday. Daschunds, puppies, mutts, great danes, shepherds, samoyeds, bulldogs, pitbulls, hairless, everything. I can handle any dog I meet. You can trust me to handle your dog with care, happiness, love, understanding, and patience. I am fit and ready to play! Dogs hold such a special place in my heart and I can't wait to meet yours! I am a student at Rutgers New Brunswick and my schedule currently has me free after 5pm on weekdays and any time after 9am on weekends. I can potentially be available if there is a special circumstance but that is by no means a guarantee. I do not currently offer boarding services. About: I have been petsitting for the past 3 years and during that time I have cared for dogs and cats of all ages and sizes, as well as chickens, goats, birds, rabbits, ferrets, and guinea pigs... and I love them all! In addition to petsitting, I also have 3 small dogs and two parakeets of my own - there is never a dull moment! I currently attend Rutgers University- With my schedule, I can care for your pet in the mornings before class, during lunch/mid day breaks (during the week I have 2 hours between classes around lunch time, which is when I can come and care for your pet) and when I get home from classes around 5pm. I am also available during the weekends! I spend time with the pets I care for, giving them lots of love and attention, and really enjoy taking them on walks too! I am a firm believer in following instructions and will stick to your described routine, to ensure the most safety and ease for your beloved pet.

About: I grew up with dogs and helped raise two litters of bernese mountain dog puppies. Six years ago, I adopted my own dog, Harley, who is a vizsla/catahoula leopard dog mix. Through my experience caring for Harley, I’ve acquired skills to help fearful dogs enjoy walks and adventures while helping dogs learn to feel safe and secure in their environments. I am currently a graduate student and have a very flexible schedule for dog walking! Walking dogs is one of the best parts of my day! I care for my client’s dogs the same as I do my own. About: I’ve been surrounded my dogs ever since I was 5 years old. I can’t imagine my life without them. And since my dogs dislike dog parks I go on my own just to play with and interact other dogs as well. Regarding my experience I own and take care of 2 dogs and myself and I have taken care of my neighbor’s casts while they were gone. I’m currently home for my summer break so I am available basically everyday and all day to take care of any and all pups in need! I treat the client’s home with the utmost respect, following all security protocols to make sure the dog(s) feels secure in their own home. I keep the dog(s) on their usual walking and feeding schedule and make sure they get plenty of attention, exercise, and playtime. Additionally, I send daily photo and text updates so owners can have peace of mind knowing their pup is happy, safe, and well loved!

About: Hi! I’m Quin. I grew up with cats, dogs, a bunny, and was a member of an Alpaca 4-H club since I was in 3rd grade, I don’t know a world without animals. I genuinely love getting to know people’s pets and making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while you're away. My current house currently boasts four cats of various ages, from kittens to an old lady, and a young Australian Shepherd mix. Because of this, I'm very comfortable with both cats, dogs, and households that have multiple pets. I've also spent a large part of my life caring for senior animals and pets who need a little extra attention. I've managed medications, special diets, frequent potty breaks, and other individualized care, including caring for a previous dog with a seizure disorder. My approach to pet care is to meet each animal where they are. I love matching their energy, whether that means a long walk and plenty of playtime, some quiet companionship, or simply giving a shy pet the time and space they need to become comfortable with me. About: Living in New Brunswick with some friends. I have cats but I'm not allowed dogs in our house. Growing up with dogs it's hard to be away from them. Taking care of someone else's pets would be a pleasure and would brighten my day. I walk to work everyday and live outside Rutgers campuses and near some beautiful parks, giving me tons of places to bring your dogs and the stamina to keep up with them on long walks.My oldest dog back home is a big pitbull, so big dogs are right up my alley, and both my dogs can get quite rowdy so I know how to handle animals when they get out of control. I'm currentky working at later in the day and at night so I'm available during the day. I ride my bike or walk to appointments so I'm looking for clients in New Brunswick and Highland Park. I enjoy going on quiet walks in places without too much hustle and bustle. If your pet gets overwhelmed in rowdy environments, you can count on me to give the a calm yet playful day.
