About: I've taken care of dogs since I was 7 years old. I grew up with a German Shepherd named Eva, the love of my life. While a sophomore in high school, I began working at a dog daycare called Pups@Play Montclair. That job gave me invaluable knowledge of dog behavior and relationship dynamics. I learned the intricacies of their behavior, body language, personality, whether they were high energy or low energy, active or reactive, etc. I used that to diffuse many doggy disputes. I worked with and managed 50+ dogs everyday. Daschunds, puppies, mutts, great danes, shepherds, samoyeds, bulldogs, pitbulls, hairless, everything. I can handle any dog I meet. You can trust me to handle your dog with care, happiness, love, understanding, and patience. I am fit and ready to play! Dogs hold such a special place in my heart and I can't wait to meet yours! I am a student at Rutgers New Brunswick and my schedule currently has me free after 5pm on weekdays and any time after 9am on weekends. I can potentially be available if there is a special circumstance but that is by no means a guarantee. I do not currently offer boarding services. About: I grew up with dogs and helped raise two litters of bernese mountain dog puppies. Six years ago, I adopted my own dog, Harley, who is a vizsla/catahoula leopard dog mix. Through my experience caring for Harley, I’ve acquired skills to help fearful dogs enjoy walks and adventures while helping dogs learn to feel safe and secure in their environments. I am currently a graduate student and have a very flexible schedule for dog walking! Walking dogs is one of the best parts of my day! I care for my client’s dogs the same as I do my own. Building trust with dogs through patience and kindness will set a strong foundation for many fun times together!

About: Greyhound lady with over a decade training and caring for dogs, including certifying two rescued racetrack greyhounds as therapy dogs through Bright and Beautiful Therapy Dogs. I've cared for five rescue dogs over the years — four greyhounds and a pug mix — handling everything from puppy adjustment to senior care, including medications, mobility needs, and end-of-life support. I use calm, positive-reinforcement handling and I'm skilled at reading a dog's stress or comfort level in real time, so walks stay relaxed and enjoyable. I'm also experienced with nervous or reactive dogs, having safely de-escalated an unleashed dog confrontation while working a mail route. My own dog takes 1.5 hours walk per day. We love Donaldson Park and the Highland Park Meadows, Johnson Park, Cheesequake and Morristown National Park for treats. Safety comes first on every walk. I read each dog's body language and comfort level before we even leave the door, and I adjust pace, route, or duration accordingly — a skill I built training two rescued greyhounds as certified therapy dogs. I stay alert to hazards like other loose animals, traffic, and extreme heat, and I know how to calmly de-escalate a tense situation if one arises. I treat every pet with the same patience and care I give my own rescue dogs, and I communicate clearly with owners before and after each walk so they always know how their pet is doing.

About: I have over 6 years of hands-on experience caring for a 60 lb Labrador Retriever, whom I raised from puppyhood. I plan my schedule to ensure every pet in my care receives consistent supervision and the care they need. I live in a clean, pet-friendly two-bedroom apartment near downtown New Brunswick. I make sure pets have a safe, comfortable, and calm environment where they can relax and feel at home. I follow each pet’s regular routine, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and any special instructions provided by the owner. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I respect their space and maintain the pet’s normal routine to help reduce stress. I provide plenty of attention, exercise, affection, and regular updates with photos so owners can feel confident that their pets are safe and well cared for.

About: I’ve been surrounded my dogs ever since I was 5 years old. I can’t imagine my life without them. And since my dogs dislike dog parks I go on my own just to play with and interact other dogs as well. Regarding my experience I own and take care of 2 dogs and myself and I have taken care of my neighbor’s casts while they were gone. I’m currently home for my summer break so I am available basically everyday and all day to take care of any and all pups in need! I treat the client’s home with the utmost respect, following all security protocols to make sure the dog(s) feels secure in their own home. I keep the dog(s) on their usual walking and feeding schedule and make sure they get plenty of attention, exercise, and playtime. Additionally, I send daily photo and text updates so owners can have peace of mind knowing their pup is happy, safe, and well loved!

About: I currently cat/dog-sit for all of my friends, family, and extended family's pets. I recently lost my own boy, Bowie, who was a 100-lb rescue in May. I am well accustomed to bigger dogs, but also love taking care of the little ones and cats as well! I can also help with basic training commands, medication administration, and any special meal preparation that is needed. Now booking any holiday needs! I work from home full time Monday-Friday, so I'm able to care to their needs throughout the day, in between meetings! This schedule also allows me to focus on evening and weekend coverage for your date nights, quick trips, and weekend getaways! I have no pets of my own currently and have plenty of grass/dog park within my neighborhood. As long as your pet is potty trained, they would have full access to the couch/bed!

About: Hello - I'm Abbie. I have recently left the corporate world to pursue my graduate degree full time and reside in Cranford, NJ. I am a proud dog mom to one doggie - Kai - who absolutely adores other dogs. He uses Rover too when I am away! I have been taking care of animals since I could remember! Growing up in an animal lover household, I have had birds, turtles, bunnies, cats, and dogs. I got my first pet when I was 5 years old; a bunny named Chocolate. I am sadly away from my animals in my home. At my family home, I have a yorkie named Dexter and many silkie chickens; Dobby, Tori, and Sunshine just to name a few! Throughout my undergrad, I also lived with my roommate's Aussie named Asher whom I bathed, walked, and played lots of fetch with. I started house sitting when I was in high school for my neighbors and family-friends on vacations/weekends. I trained my dog Dexter on my own when I was 15 years old and am used to bringing him on daily walks! I am happy to walk, bathe, cuddle, and feed your pet along with any other services you would need. I have a strong love for all animals big and small and will treat them like my own (and so will Kai) Since I am a graduate student, my schedule is very fluid. I have classes in the evenings mostly and my weekends are quite free. Since I have a dog of my own, I am already up around 7-8AM for morning walks a food. I walk my dog at least 1 hour a day - one long walk during lunch time and another in the evening after dinner. I rent a home with an unfenced yard. I already take Kai on 2-3 walks a day. I will be able to walk your furry friend as well!

About: Hi, besides the obvious of loving animals, I have had first hand raising them growing up, and later I worked and lived on a farm tending for both the farm (~100 sheep, horses, goats, llamas, chicken) and the house animals (4 dogs, and a cat) Student looking for part time gigs, I’m pretty flexible with short-notice/on-call availability throughout the whole week. I love animals and have plenty of experience so this opportunity would be the perfect coupling! I’m great at following instructions (almost to a fault!) so I will do my best to take the best care of your furry family. Little bit about me: I’m a student, part time barista, I love nature and photography, taking walks and hiking, farmer’s markets, keeping a nice and tidy environment, cafes and hanging out with friends.
