About: Loving, Reliable Pet Care – Tailored to Your Pet’s Needs! 🐾 Hi there! I'm a lifelong animal lover with years of hands-on experience caring for all kinds of pets—playful puppies, curious kittens, gentle seniors, and animals with disabilities or special needs. 🐶🐱💕 I previously worked at an animal shelter, which gave me extensive experience handling pets of all temperaments and situations. I’m extremely comfortable administering medications (oral, topical, and injections if needed) and I always make sure every animal gets the extra love and attention they deserve. I work full-time Monday through Friday, but I always make time for your pets—stopping by during my hour lunch break for walks, potty breaks, feeding, or just some midday snuggles and care. When I’m off the clock, I’m available to be at your home as much as you'd like, and I frequently stay overnight to keep pets happy and stress-free in their own space. Best of all, I'm completely free on weekends, so I can dedicate my full attention to your furry family members all weekend long. Whether it’s for a quick check-in or a full weekend of love and care, I’m here to treat your pets like family—with compassion, patience, and a whole lot of tail wags and purrs. ❤️ Let’s chat and make sure your beloved companions get the care they deserve! I work full time Monday through Friday but I do have an hour lunch break where I can stop by and let animals out and feed them if needed. When I am not at work, I am available to be at your home as much as you would like me there. I frequently stay in peoples homes with their pets. I am off work on weekends so I can dedicate the entire weekend to your furry babies. I do not usually watch animals in my own home, other than cats who are not outdoor cats & are experienced & good with other cats, since I have two of my own. I prefer to watch animals in their own home, as it lessens the stress for the animal (and my cats! haha)

Amelia took great care of our cavapoo while we were away! She communicated often, sent pictures, and was patient when he was a little hesitant. Oliver enjoyed lots of walks and cuddles! She even went above and beyond and played Santa’s helper for me before we got home! Amelia will always be our first ask when needing a dog sitter.

About: I have taken care of many pets including dogs, cats, rodents, birds, reptiles, and fish since a young age. Growing up surrounded by pets along with my parent working in a pet store, I have learned at home along with learning how to take care of animals in a professional setting. Although my living situation does not allow me to have pets, I have had a love for animals for a very long time. I have a degree in fish and wildlife management so along with working with and around animals daily, I have had many classes and lots of experience in animal care. I am currently laid off for the winter and am available most days until May! I am in the Marquette area, but travel to Negaunee often. I am a very responsible and respectful person when it comes to animals along with homes. I am also very easy to contact and appreciate and reciprocate good communication and will make sure you know your pet is getting the love and care they deserve!

We are so lucky to have found Olivia. After our original sitter had to cancel 3 days before our trip, we were left scrambling to find a new one. Olivia responded to our inquiry very quickly and was flexible in scheduling a time to chat over the phone prior to us leaving. She was very communicative and provided great photos. Overall, I highly recommend her, and plan to rebook with her in the future!

About: You can enjoy complete peace of mind knowing your dog is receiving dedicated, one-on-one care in my home. Since I don’t currently have any pets of my own, your dog will be my sole focus, ensuring they feel safe, welcome, and active. I have a large, fully fenced-in backyard that provides plenty of room for supervised play and exercise. Because I work remotely, your pet will have constant companionship and the freedom to enjoy the yard throughout the day. Having previously owned a Golden Retriever and two mixed-breed rescues, I am experienced in caring for different personalities and activity levels. Because I work from home and live alone, your dog becomes my primary companion and the heartbeat of my home. My daily routine is perfectly suited for a pet who thrives on consistency and attention. We start each morning with breakfast and a potty break in the large fenced-in backyard before I settle in for work. While I am at my desk, your dog is welcome to nap in my office or relax at my feet, enjoying a calm and quiet environment. I make it a point to step away from my screen for several breaks throughout the day, which provides the perfect opportunity for us to head outside for fresh air and supervised playtime in the yard. Once I log off for the evening, we head out for a long walk to wind down and get some exercise. My weekends are dedicated to trail walking, and I love having a furry friend join me for these longer outdoor adventures. Since I don't have other pets or children, your dog will truly be the centerpiece of my day and will fit right into my active lifestyle. Since I work from home and live alone, I provide a quiet, low-stress environment where your dog is the sole focus of my attention. My day is built around companionship—your dog can lounge in my office while I work, and we take frequent breaks to play in my large, fully fenced-in backyard. I strictly follow your existing feeding and medication schedule to keep their routine as normal as possible. Because I am active, they will enjoy a long evening walk every day and the option for trail adventures on the weekends.

About: Hello! I'm a student at NMU with tons of dog care experience! I've had three family dogs that I've taken care of, and I've walked, dog sat, and bathed many dogs for family/friends over the years. I volunteered at my local dog shelter for a summer where I walked, played with, and helped socialize the dogs, which was SUCH a rewarding experience. I am a huge animal lover, and I promise to treat your pets with love, energy, and care. Fun fact, I love dogs so much that I went on a dog podcast this summer! Go to episode 30 of "FOLLOW ME: I'M A D.O.G! PODCAST" if you want to hear me talk about my childhood dogs and why they're so important to me :) My weekends are completely open for dog care! While I do have classes, clubs, and a part time job during the week, I can try to squeeze in a Monday or Friday if needed. Let me know what you're looking for let's make it fit into my schedule! While I cannot host dogs in my own apartment, I promise to treat your living space (and your puppy) as if it were my own. Like I said, I grew up with dogs, have dog sat for family/friends, and have volunteered in an animal shelter, so I'm experienced in sensing what a dog needs, respecting their space, and giving them all the attention they need when they want it.

Matt gathered information for their care, sent us pictures of each dog and adapted his service to our needs. We will hire Matt again for our dogs care

About: I have been taking care of my own pets my whole life! I have been in 4-h for over 15 years and know all the aspects of keeping happy animals!! I have also have many dogs and I love all pets! I go to school full time but still have a pretty flexible schedule and can always work around my classes. I also have a part time job but don’t work many hours. I live in an apartment so I don’t have room for your pets in my home. I would come to your home so your dogs feel more comfortable and safe!

About: Furry Friend Care experience includes caring for cat(s) needing regular injections (subcutaneous), special dietary needs, and walking multiple dogs (familiar with each other). Light grooming, as well! As a free agent with Home bases in both Munising and Marquette, I have flexibility! Please specify what area/ community when you request services. We all have things we care about and want to ensure are safe and cared for when we're not around. I will give care and consideration to your fur friends, their routines and safety! My house sitting, boat sitting, fur friend care, & companionship extend from Marquette to Munising, and Chocolay to Big Bay! Care to be in your home, unless special conditions are made. My current familiar is a gorgeous grey Nebelung cat, adopted as a kitten 5 years ago. She requires a special ZD diet and biweekly subcutaneous shots. I have experience attaching kitty nail caps, when she was younger, with coordinated guidance while we were sussing out an unknown skin condition that was causing her to scratch aggressively, continually opening wounds, not giving them a chance to heal. Her condition is now under control, and she no longer requires the nail caps. Prior cats I have cared for have ranged from 3 lbs to 28 lbs! Our family pooch is an English Springer Spaniel, a unique tri-color showcasing beautiful Sable color. We welcomed him to our home 6 years ago. He is our 2nd Springer in 21 years. They are such a loving, fun, and gentle breed. I have much experience in connecting with and walking rescue dogs as well, mixed breeds including Sharpei, Pit Bull, Rottie, Jack Russel, Corgie, Labradoodles, Spaniels, etc. Sanitation is the start of keeping our friends safe and healthy; exercise and fresh air are necessary as well to have a happy, healthy home life. I can provide these things for your loved furry friend(s) while you are traveling or working.

About: I’ve grown up surrounded by dogs and cats my entire life, so caring for animals feels completely natural to me. From playful puppies and curious kittens to older pets who need extra patience and comfort, I’ve seen it all. Because I’ve lived with animals for as long as I can remember, I’m great at understanding their body language, routines, and what helps them feel safe. I know how to handle different personalities—shy, energetic, cuddly, or independent—and I always adjust to what each pet needs. I treat every pet like family, because that’s how I was raised to care for mine. Your pets will get the same love, attention, and respect I give my own. As a college student, pet care fits really well into my daily and weekly routine. I’m always looking for fun and meaningful ways to make money, and spending time with animals is something I genuinely enjoy. Taking care of pets doesn’t feel like work to me—it’s something I look forward to. I’m used to building my schedule around classes and responsibilities, so I’m reliable with feeding times, walks, playtime, and any specific routines a pet needs. Helping care for animals is a great balance to school life and something I’m happy to make time for! When I’m caring for pets—whether in my home or at a client’s—I always focus on safety, comfort, and consistency. I make sure pets are in a secure environment, keep doors and gates closed, and follow any routines or rules you already have in place. I take the time to learn each pet’s personality, signals, and comfort levels so they feel safe around me. I keep their routines familiar—walks, feeding times, play, and quiet time—and I always keep a close eye on them to make sure they’re happy and relaxed. My goal is to create a calm, trusting environment where your pet feels cared for, understood, and completely safe while you’re away.
