I work full time Monday through Friday but I do have an hour lunch break where I can stop by and let animals out and feed them if needed. When I am not at work, I am available to be at your home as much as you would like me there. I frequently stay in peoples homes with their pets. I am off work on weekends so I can dedicate the entire weekend to your furry babies. I do not usually watch animals in my own home, other than cats who are not outdoor cats & are experienced & good with other cats, since I have two of my own. I prefer to watch animals in their own home, as it lessens the stress for the animal (and my cats! haha)

About: I have taken care of many pets including dogs, cats, rodents, birds, reptiles, and fish since a young age. Growing up surrounded by pets along with my parent working in a pet store, I have learned at home along with learning how to take care of animals in a professional setting. Although my living situation does not allow me to have pets, I have had a love for animals for a very long time. I have a degree in fish and wildlife management so along with working with and around animals daily, I have had many classes and lots of experience in animal care. I am currently laid off for the winter and am available most days until May! I am in the Marquette area, but travel to Negaunee often. I am a very responsible and respectful person when it comes to animals along with homes. We start each morning with breakfast and a potty break in the large fenced-in backyard before I settle in for work. I make it a point to step away from my screen for several breaks throughout the day, which provides the perfect opportunity for us to head outside for fresh air and supervised playtime in the yard. I've had three family dogs that I've taken care of, and I've walked, dog sat, and bathed many dogs for family/friends over the years. I volunteered at my local dog shelter for a summer where I walked, played with, and helped socialize the dogs, which was SUCH a rewarding experience. My current familiar is a gorgeous grey Nebelung cat, adopted as a kitten 5 years ago. She requires a special ZD diet and biweekly subcutaneous shots. I have experience attaching kitty nail caps, when she was younger, with coordinated guidance while we were sussing out an unknown skin condition that was causing her to scratch aggressively, continually opening wounds, not giving them a chance to heal. Her condition is now under control, and she no longer requires the nail caps. Prior cats I have cared for have ranged from 3 lbs to 28 lbs! Our family pooch is an English Springer Spaniel, a unique tri-color showcasing beautiful Sable color. We welcomed him to our home 6 years ago. He is our 2nd Springer in 21 years. They are such a loving, fun, and gentle breed. I have much experience in connecting with and walking rescue dogs as well, mixed breeds including Sharpei, Pit Bull, Rottie, Jack Russel, Corgie, Labradoodles, Spaniels, etc. Sanitation is the start of keeping our friends safe and healthy; exercise and fresh air are necessary as well to have a happy, healthy home life. I can provide these things for your loved furry friend(s) while you are traveling or working.
