“Paula is amazing! She knew exactly how to approach our picky German shepherd and adjusted to his needs. She was very calm and comfortable with him. She became his best friend when she walked in with a pup cup in hand. So happy to have found someone reliable we can count on to take care of our fur baby when we go out of town. Thank you!!”

“Alicia was excellent with our two cats. They warmed up to her quickly and they were very affectionate towards her. Alicia went above and beyond! We definitely book her again.”

“Kelly was amazing! Our old dog Mazzy has anxiety and doesn’t like new people. We did introductions and Mazzy seemed fine. I was still worried. The whole vacation Mazzy was happy, let her in the house and gave kisses. Marly the pup made many accidents. She cleaned up to the best of her abilities which we appreciated. She was a blessing and always on-time with good spirits.”

“Kylah was amazing! She was very patient and kind with my senior dog Seffora who is almost fully blind. She gave Seffora tons of cuddles and belly rubs and I was able to feel very comfortable that my baby was in good hands while away! I am very pleased with a wonderful first experience using Rover, I definitely recommend Kylah!”

About: I have been taking care of my family dog for 17 years until she passed away and I am looking to get back into taking care of dogs! I have extensive experience with senior dogs and medication administration I work at the junior high school two blocks away from my house and I am able to come home for lunch and quick breaks throughout the day so I am able to take your pet out every 2 hrs if needed. I can care for your pet in my spacious four bedroom house. At my house I have plenty of space for your pet to run around in our yard. I do not own any pets so your pet will be the only one in my home during that time.

About: I've been taking care of pets since i was 18 years old. I started by taking care of my neighbor's dogs & cats and expanded to taking care of Friends, family, neighbor's pets. I am comfortable looking after all ages of dogs, and treat them like they are my own! Our four legged babies deserve the best care & love at all times! I work full time in the office but am available at the drop of a hat for a walk or let out after 6:00pm as needed. I am available for dog walks, let out/potty breaks, and boarding on the weekends. I am an early bird that loves to walk and am flexible to help you & your pets! I have a 6-year-old black lab mix named Olly, who likes to meet all of the furry friends that come to stay with us overnight, so a meet and greet is required before boarding to ensure that both dogs are happy and safe together! My philosophy to dog care is to make the animals feel like they are loved and safe no matter where they are, and yes… that means endless belly rubs & squeaker toys. House Drop in/ dog walks- I love walking no matter the weather and feel comfortable coming to your house and letting your dog out for a potty break or taking them on a walk. I will happily abide by any distance you want me to walk them and utilize any type of harness or leash you prefer. I will make sure that your dog didn’t have any accidents and will happily clean up if they did. I will respect your house and take care of your dog(s) like they are my own! Dog sitting & Boarding- I have a completely fenced big back yard that your dog(s) are welcome to roam the entire thing! My six-year-old black lab mix, Olly will happily keep your dog company & share her toys! I love to take dogs that stay with me on morning & evening walks. Our neighborhood is very dog friendly to walk, and we live 1.2 miles from Herrik lake forest preserve path that is always a nice scenery change for dogs! According to my dog… it has the best smells in town!

“Dawanna saved the day! When our original person to watch our dog canceled, she responded promptly to my message. She kept me informed and made my day away, so much easier knowing my dog was taken care of.”

About: Fur, feathers and fins I love them all! I am a responsible, mature adult here to help you with your sweet pets. I have had either dogs, cats, birds, fish and guinea pigs since I was a child. I currently have a ten year old Australian Shepherd that is very high energy so I know how important it is for our animals to have a lot of attention. I have always been the go to person for family and friends when they have needed help with their pets and can be for yours. I also understand how hard it is to find someone we can trust not only with our animals but also with our homes. I left my office job a couple years ago and have been looking for something part time to fill my time and what better way than with animals. I am currently available for Dog Walking, lDrop-In Visits an House Sitting. I will do my best to keep your pets happy, safe and healthy. Let me know of any special needs or issues your pet may need such as if the animal has a problem getting along with other animals or people that we may come across while on walks. I feel it would be helpful to both of us to meet before I would be caring for your pet to be sure we are a perfect fit for each other. I am currently not working so I am available most days. I will do my best to accommodate dates and times that you may need. If you have a fenced in yard and would prefer your dog to stay within the yard I would be happy to play with them there otherwise I love taking them on walks.

“Fantastic! Pre-booked Lynn a few weeks out, new to rover myself. We had a nice meet and greet a few days before my trip...feeding guidelines, she offered to clean her box and even water my plants! Very personable and attentive. During my trip she sent me pictures of little miss kitty, which was a nice touch. Very fluid, no issues, great experience! Certainly plan on using Lynn in future and recommending to my community!”

“I have never had anyone new watch our dog and Max and Jocelyn were so understand and helpful! We were able to meet and our dog warmed up to them very quickly. They have provided us so much peace of mind to know our baby is being taken well care of-we will definitely be booking again. Thank you!!”

I am happy to clean up any messes the dog may make, and also happy to play with the dog.

About: Hi there! I’m Keyla—an animal lover and certified healthcare professional based in Warrenville. I work in pediatric respiratory care, so responsibility, reliability, and attention to detail are second nature to me. I’m also active and outdoorsy, which means your pup will get plenty of exercise, fresh air, and safe exploration on walks. Whether it’s a high-energy breed or a cuddly lap dog, I tailor my care to their needs. Safety and well-being are my top priorities, and you’ll always receive updates, photos, and peace of mind while you’re away. I’m here to make sure your pet feels loved, comfortable, and right at home. My hospital job doesn’t start until late August, so as of right now I’m pretty free and looking to keep busy! Once I start at the hospital, I’ll be available 4 days a week as well. In your home, I respect your space and follow your pet’s usual schedule—whether it’s feeding, walks, playtime, or medication. I know pets feel most comfortable in familiar surroundings, so I keep things consistent and calm while you’re away. I’ll also keep you updated with regular check-ins and photos so you know your furry family member is doing great

About: I’m an entrepreneur who works from home so my schedule is extremely flexible. I’ve cared for large dogs all my life and I can’t get enough of them. I’m affectionate but firm, always delivering positive reinforcement. I’m always eager to meet a new furry friend! I own my own business and I have complete control over my schedule and it’s easy to move my work around your needs, any time of day. I can stay with your pet where they are most comfortable, in their own home. My family can easily watch my own pets while I care for yours.

“I have a very shy kitty. I was shocked when she warmed up to Jessica so immediately. When I returned home, I found the litter box clean and a very happy cat. I would be happy for her to stay with my cat any time.”

“Nicole has been fantastic with Avery and Cody. She's great with them, she's great at providing updates on every visit and we will be continuing to use her services as much as possible.”

“Elizabeth was on-time for each visit and made sure to send pictures of our kitties (when the boys were willing to come out of hiding to say hello!). The litter boxes were all clean and water was filled when we got back home. We would definitely request her again for future vacations!”

About: I used to volunteer at a local animal shelter where I have fostered multiple dogs and cats. I currently have a large breed dog who is 9 and have grown up with both dogs and cats my whole life. I can also be flexible some days if need be with given notice. If there is a day you do not see available please just let me know. I take great pride in giving my dog the best care possible. We visit the vet annually to stay on top of health and vaccinations, making sure everything from teeth to tail is in good shape. Daily long walks are a must. We both enjoy the exercise and fresh air, and it's a great way for my dog to explore and burn energy. At home, crate training has provided a safe, cozy space that helps with structure and comfort. And of course, there's always time for play, fun, and plenty of treats.

About: I’ve grown up with pets my whole life (both dogs and cats) and have ample experience in pet care. I absolutely adore animals and will give your pet the most attentive, loving care, no matter how crazy they might be! I am coming home from college, so I will have a crazy amount of free time that I’m hoping to fill up with taking care of pets! I have two pretty mischievous dogs so I’ve learned to take many precautions when it comes to the safety of them. So no matter how much they like to get into things they aren’t supposed to, or if they’re always trying to find a way to run away, I’m able to prevent that from happening. I can adapt to any environment, so fencing and other things like that are not something that I need in order to take good care of your pet.
