About: I have over 30 years of experience in pet care with not only my own pets but also family and friends. My wife and I enjoy walking dogs and spending time with all kinds of animals including reptiles, rabbits, ferrets and pretty much anything with four legs! Birds and fish too! I am retired so I'm pretty flexible and looking forward to filling my time with pet care. I can't think of anything else I would rather do with my newly found extra time. I am happy to follow in home care instructions. I won't be keeping dogs or cats in my own home but would consider other types of in home care for other animals like small reptiles.

“Emily has been a fabulous sitter for my cat. Darcy is a persnickety cat and is not always friendly. She tends to hide when I am away. Emily was not at all deterred by Darcy’s reluctance to make a new friend. Each time she came over to care for Darcy, Emily waited around for Darcy to get comfortable enough to come out of hiding. Emily talked to her and petted her as Darcy allowed, and Emily was able to get some pictures to send me of Darcy. I appreciated Emily’s commitment to providing excellent care for my kitty and her communication after each visit with an update and pictures of Darcy. About: I have had a cat my entire life and even had multiple cats at the same time. I am great at playing with cats and petting them. I am super friendly and easy to get along with as a pet sitter. I work remote as a risk engineer. I have a very flexible work schedule Monday-Friday from 6 am -5 pm and can make visits work most times during this period. About: I have had dogs of my own since I was a child. I have been involved in fostering for local rescues & shelters for 5 years I have co-ran my own 501c3 rescue for almost 3 years I do work full time, so I am gone Monday- Friday from roughly 7A.M until 6 P.M. (depending on how far you are from my job). I drive Uber on the weekends during the summer months, but those hours are flexible & can vary based on your pet's needs. I have a fenced yard, but I have 3 senior dogs of my own and because of running the rescue, I usually have a foster dog as well so taking a dog into my home would be more challenging, but if I were to drop in or stay at your home, your dog(s) would get all of the one on one attention &time that they require

About: I’ve been around animals my whole life. I grew up on a farm and have had dogs for as long as I can remember, which taught me how to care for animals with patience and responsibility. Now I’m blessed with two cats of my own. I’m also an aspiring dog trainer and love working with animals while helping them learn and build good habits.
