About: Aloha! I’m Nea, a born-and-raised Kaua‘i girl now living in Honolulu near Ala Moana. I’ve grown up around and owned animals my whole life—horses, chickens, bunnies, birds, cats, and of course, dogs—and I’m truly an all-around animal lover! I get so much joy out of spending time with animals and helping care for others’ furry friends. Whether it’s a playful puppy, a senior needing a little extra TLC, or a quirky dog with specific routines, I genuinely love getting to know each one’s unique personality. I’ve raised and owned Border Collies and Australian Shepherds (you can see my parents dog, Tucker, a blonde collie, featured in a number of my photos), so I’m especially comfortable with high-energy breeds. However, I’ve worked with dogs of all types and temperaments. My workday typically starts early since my team is based on the mainland, which means I often wrap up by lunchtime and have plenty of time to spend with pups. Even during working hours, I can usually shift meetings or build in breaks to fit in a walk or drop-in visit. Overall, I’m able to accommodate most pet care routines. Lina was easy to coordinate and communicate with and she took great care of not only my cats, but also my house. I know how much cat litter tracks over time and there was none to be found...it was clear she ensured cat-related things stayed tidy, which was much appreciated when coming home from an extended trip. It seemed like my cats liked her too based on update photos. I would definitely hire Lina again.
Riley is fantastic! She always takes lots of pictures and writes about her time with Millie for each visit. We really appreciate that! Some previous sitters he had did not write many notes about their visits. We are glad to have Riley and hope she is always available if we need another sitter!
I would highly recommend Janey for your petsitting needs. She obviously loves animals and takes special care with any instructions you leave for feeding, litter cleaning, etc. And she is quite the animal photographer -- she sent numerous daily photos and videos of her daily visits. I'll be using her the next time we leave town!
I left my 2 young Calicos for the first time to go on a work trip recently, and Sydney did such an AMAZING job caring for them! The process was stress free and my girls were both very comfortable with Sydney from the start. I also received daily pictures which reassured me that my kitties were in good hands! Daniel is fantastic! Although he is new to Rover, he clearly has a lot of experience with pet-sitting. He took wonderful care of our senior dog and cats. Daniel expertly used all of the features of the Rover website, to include logging check-in and check-out times, GPS tracking for walks, and report cards with photos for every visit. I have never had a sitter this thorough before. Speaking of photos, he took some great quality shots of our pets. I hope Daniel is available to sit for our next vacation, because I plan to be a repeat customer.
Olivia was great to have back to care for my elderly dog while I was at work. She was very mindful that I have cats and another dog. Deanne was perfect for the job. My dog Mako is a bit reactive and has been scared since moving here but Deanne was so patient with him.
