About: I have grown up around dogs and I have had dogs since I was 8 years old. A lot of my family members have dogs and lots of my neighbors have dogs, so I have helped out when they have needed someone to walk and/or feed their dogs. I am currently home from college for the summer, so I am free to help care for your pet between 11am-5pm, all 7 days a week. My family has three dogs, so I know how to keep your pet safe while in my care. I also am well knowledged on how to keep them safe while on a walk, or playing in the park,
About: I am a previous dog owner of 16 years. I unfortunately lost them both a few years back and looking for a dog to walk or sit with as this would fill my heart! They do truly bring me joy. I am currently a dog walker for one other dog in my neighborhood. I am a current p/t caregiver for my dad with dementia and I am looking for a p/t job as a walker or dog sitter. This is great therapy for me. I love being outside and I love to walk. I am a compassionate and patient person with animals and with people that are looking for help. If I am in another person’s home, I would treat their pet and their home as if it were my own. I am willing to play with your pet, walk and give treats and food as needed.
“Since I am retired, my two cats are accustomed to me being at home most of the time, so I was a reluctant to leave them alone for ten days with a pet sitter just coming in a couple times a day to feed them. So, Mary S. was a house sitter as well as a pet sitter while I was gone. Both cats were very content upon my return, which I attribute to the care and attention they received from Mary S. I recommend her highly and would use her again in a heartbeat.”

About: Hello, my name is Kim. I am a dog owner looking to care for other dogs. I am currently a proud owner of my amazing Goldendoodle (Willie Nelson). I’ve been a dog owner all my life and often care for pets belonging to family and friends. I have a very flexible schedule for any Rover clients that are looking to have their pup in good, loving hands. I currently bartend 4 nights a weeks, so I have plenty of time to play with your pup during the day, as well as most evenings. I have a fenced in area that my pup loves to run around daily that I’m sure yours will enjoy too! I like to spend my time outside, so we also go on lots adventures together - the beach is a favorite destination!
About: My family and I are Christians. I was making plans to get my son a dog once he started working this summer. His big sister, who is now 20, worked at Ripleys Aquarium before she joined the Airforce a year ago. He wants a job there this summer just so he can learn more about animals. He is a natural around dogs and other animals. He is an honor role student who wants to be a vet one day. While I was out walking in my neighborhood, I ran into a sweet lady who told us about Rover.com. I thought how perfect is that. We get the love and warmth of a dog, and I will be able to teach my beloved son about responsibility and helping others. Your dog will get the love and care that you would expect and will be completely safe with us. The last dog I owned was a Staffordshire Terrier. We loved him. His resting place is in my home Bermuda.
“Craig was outstanding. I would refer him to one and all. This was a very positive experience for me and my fur babies. If I ever have to leave my pets alone at my new home if Florida. I would send Craig an airline ticket to watch them again. Thank you very much.”

“Jenn was house sitting for a week with my 2 dogs. She was very caring and kind to them. She was especially patient with one of my dogs who is afraid of the thunderstorms. Jenn is a very responsible person with great attention to the details. She also left the house in perfect order. I can highly recommend Jenn and hope to work with her in the future.”

About: I’m a proud momma of two Pit Bulls that I rescued, locally. My passion for Bully breeds started 25 years ago when I adopted my first one and discovered the slobbering kisses that made me a forever fan. Over the last decade I fostered many (over 50) pregnant moms and their babies for local Rescues. I’m available anytime of the day and 7 days a week unless booked or unavailable. I also do not mind last minute drop ins. After my own experience trying to find a sitter for my two pit bulls, I realized that most sitters didn’t accept Pit Bulls and that there was a need for Pittie sitters! I love all breeds and have lots of experience.
“If I could give Nikki more than 5 stars, I would! She took amazing care of Bubbles. Sent a lot of pictures and was easy to communicate with. Nikki went above and beyond taking care of Bubbles, which gave us peace of mind. Nikki is awesome!”

“Catrina was outstanding. A consummate professional, she is extremely easy to get along with and very attentive to the dogs. She was able to help us out last minute, sent pictures daily, and picked up our dog routines very easily. Would hire her again in a heartbeat.”

Kelly took care of our my 13yr terrier Owen over 4 days. This was my first time arranging housesitting through Rover, and I would highly recommend Kelly. She is a very caring person who I found easy to trust to care for my Owen and our home. We had an unexpected event that Owen's older sibling(Bevin) passed away a day before Kelly was to arrive. At the age of 14.5 years, Bevin was slowing down and had been losing weight over the past months. Kelly couldn't have been more supportive to both myself and Owen in our grief of her passing. Owen especially enjoyed the company on her dog Kava, who is very sweet and friendly. It was a good that he found a buddy with Kava. While I was away, Kelly kept me well updated with photos and messages. Upon her departure she also left the house spotless. I am forever thankful to both Kelly and Kava for helping ease the transition after our loss. I highly recommend her, especially if you have older dogs like my own. Kelly is top my list for future pet sitting whenever her schedule fits ours!

Since I am retired, my two cats are accustomed to me being at home most of the time, so I was a reluctant to leave them alone for ten days with a pet sitter just coming in a couple times a day to feed them. So, Mary S. was a house sitter as well as a pet sitter while I was gone. Both cats were very content upon my return, which I attribute to the care and attention they received from Mary S. Tyler is the best out there! It was my first time using a service like this so I had a lot of concerns leaving my dogs for a long period of time. Tyler was very responsive, followed instructions well, and even went the extra mile and got diapers for my dogs since they happened to enter heat while I was gone. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience!
