About: My family and I are Christians. I was making plans to get my son a dog once he started working this summer. His big sister, who is now 20, worked at Ripleys Aquarium before she joined the Airforce a year ago. He wants a job there this summer just so he can learn more about animals. He is a natural around dogs and other animals. He is an honor role student who wants to be a vet one day. While I was out walking in my neighborhood, I ran into a sweet lady who told us about Rover.com. I thought how perfect is that. We get the love and warmth of a dog, and I will be able to teach my beloved son about responsibility and helping others. Your dog will get the love and care that you would expect and will be completely safe with us. The last dog I owned was a Staffordshire Terrier. We loved him. His resting place is in my home Bermuda.

About: I have taken care of dogs since I was 8 years old when I got my first puppy. Since then I have been trusted by family, friends and neighbors to provide care for a range of different dogs. I have taken care of younger small puppies, senior dogs, larger animals and dogs that require medication. I am currently a full time student at Towson University. Outside of class time my schedule is very flexible! I am available Friday-Monday for overnight stays and between classes Monday- Thursday for walking or potty breaks! I have a small backyard at my home but it is not fully fenced in. However, I am comfortable walking your dog at any time and can create your dog if needed. I am also comfortable coming to your dog to take care of your dog if that is your preference.

We went away for 5 days 4 nights and needed a sitter for our two dogs, one of which had a stroke a year and a half ago and is declining. I was looking last minute for someone to stay in my home with my little pooch and kitty. This was a last minute request and Alyssa was able to accommodate us. I was thrilled because my little pup is very anxious and taking her out of her home would not have been good for her. I will definitely be using Alyssa again in the future for our trips when we have to leave the pup and kitty at home.
