“I'm so glad I reached out to Jeffrey to board my 9 year old black cat for the week. I was very concerned to "relocating" her to his home for the week during Christmas. Knowing he had no other animals in the house and kids at home during the holidays to keep her company is what made me decide to go this route. It was worth it. Although it took my Pepper time to adjust to the relocation, it turned out to be less stressful to keep her there, than leaving her home alone. (If I leave her alone for a week, she is howling in distress for days after I return) This is the 1st time in years where Pepper was actually calm after my return home. I hope Jeffrey and his family will consider taking her again for my next trip.”

About: I have always had labs or retrievers in the house. I have trained my pets to always obey and greet people with kindness, yet still be loud with a bark when someone approaches the front door. Our dogs have always been great with kids and have never had problems with them running off. We take care of any medications, ear drops, eye drops, and of course proper diet, food, water and treats. We live on a golf course and enjoy taking our dog out for exercise. Throwing the ball or frisbee is her favorite. On sunny days we take her to the beach. We have SUV jeep to transport up to two large dogs to the beach, store or vet. We love dogs (able to handle large size dogs, puppies and older dog care) I am a retired software engineer. I do work part time which leaves me with plenty of time to help pet owners when they need it. I am a detailed oriented person. I enjoy giving your pet the attention they crave, yet staying in complete control in a calm manner. Praise is a requirement.

About: Hi, I started pet sitting when I was earning my BS in Animal Science from LSU. Over the years I’ve worked as a vet tech and at medical/ veterinary schools/ teaching hospitals. I’ve been a basic skills/ obedience trainer and watched clients’ pets at their homes or brought them into mine for 35 yrs. I live in a quiet neighborhood 6 miles from Myrtle Beach airport with my 1 year old Lab and his 8 year old All American cat. We love other animals and are very understanding of friends’ individual personalities. We’d love to add your family to ours. I only host one client family's request at a time. Your furry kids will only play with my dog and cat. Caution: let us know if your pets are on a diet because we love treats to bond and offer positive reinforcement. Hope to hear from you soon. I work from home and spend most of the day with my laptop outside on the patio. There’s also a dog door so the pups can come in and out it will if they need the yard or AC. Even when I’m in the office, the door is open. Generally, your pups will only be crated between 10 PM - 6 AM and 6 PM to 8 PM while I’m at the gym. Other than that, my eyes are on them all the time so they can run loose. I do make exceptions for older and/or well-behaved guests. I believe that each animal is an individual so I avoid broad assumptions. Please feel free to ask any questions. I believe in setting pups up for success. This means eliminating situations where they could get into trouble -such as a young dog being loose at night and having an accident, chewing prohibited item, etc. Unfortunately, I’ve seen accidents happen. So I know they can. I treat everyone else’s loved pet as I would a child. It’s a big responsibility that I take very seriously.

About: I've had and taken care of a dog since I was 7 years old. Dogs were always a part of our family life. In my family and friend group I am the go-to person for pet sitting and puppy walks. I recently participated with a trainer from Ultimate K9 training in Southern Maryland with my own pup Russel who passed with flying colors and both he and I learned many new skills and tricks. As soon a I dropped our cat off I could tell that Mary was an animal lover and she would be in great hands while we were away. Not only did Mary give our baby meds while she was recovering from being spayed, but she kept us updated with sweet pics of our girl that relieved our anxiety while we were traveling. “Mari is so amazing. I have two pups and they have separation anxiety. From the moment we got there - they went into the yard and just made themselves right at home. They didn’t even notice I was leaving. She has a wonderful home with a tall fenced in yard ( for any pet parent with an escape artist like myself). her dog, Scooby was so kind and gentle to my babies. I have to say her family is so amazing. Her son loved my dogs like they were his! I felt so comfortable on my work trip knowing they were in such great hands. 100% recommend Mari to anyone who needs a sitter. She truly loves animals and wants to make sure they are comfortable. About: My wife and I are animal lovers and have had pets all of our life. Now we are retired and have all the time needed to care for your beloved dog/dogs. Being retired we have all the time needed to spend time and care for your furry friend. We are available for short or longer term care as well . We have a fenced in yard. Plus we have our 3 year old dog who loves company. He is a big and sweet boy who will make your dogs stay fun.
About: I’m a proud momma of two Pit Bulls that I rescued, locally. My passion for Bully breeds started 25 years ago when I adopted my first one and discovered the slobbering kisses that made me a forever fan. Over the last decade I fostered many (over 50) pregnant moms and their babies for local Rescues. I’m available anytime of the day and 7 days a week unless booked or unavailable. I also do not mind last minute drop ins. After my own experience trying to find a sitter for my two pit bulls, I realized that most sitters didn’t accept Pit Bulls and that there was a need for Pittie sitters! I love all breeds and have lots of experience.
