Although it took my Pepper time to adjust to the relocation, it turned out to be less stressful to keep her there, than leaving her home alone. (If I leave her alone for a week, she is howling in distress for days after I return) This is the 1st time in years where Pepper was actually calm after my return home. About: I have always had labs or retrievers in the house. I have trained my pets to always obey and greet people with kindness, yet still be loud with a bark when someone approaches the front door. Our dogs have always been great with kids and have never had problems with them running off. We take care of any medications, ear drops, eye drops, and of course proper diet, food, water and treats. We live on a golf course and enjoy taking our dog out for exercise. Throwing the ball or frisbee is her favorite. On sunny days we take her to the beach. We have SUV jeep to transport up to two large dogs to the beach, store or vet. We love dogs (able to handle large size dogs, puppies and older dog care)

About: I've been volunteering to care for my friends and family's pets since before I can remember. While I’ve always owned kitties throughout my life, doggos hold a very special place in my heart. From poms to danes I've enjoyed every minute of caring for canines of any age, breed, and personality. I love to send updates and photos, and am very comfortable administering medications for both cats and dogs (injections, pills, ear and eye drops). I'm happy to walk, run, snuggle, and talk with your pet and am an expert at head scratches and belly rubs. I know all too well that one of the biggest challenges to traveling is finding care for your pet that ensures they don’t feel alone or bored while you’re away. I am happy to perform any routines that would make your pet most comfortable (Are they used to having a fetch session after dinner? Does your kitty expect snuggles on a particular chair in the living room?). Whatever level of care you need to know your fur baby is safe while you’re away, I’m here for it. Looking forward to meeting you and your pets! I work from home on a loose schedule - so care at any hour is no problem! Happy to take my laptop with me to spend more time with your fur baby between virtual calls. However your pet is used to spending their day, I’m happy to oblige. In the past I’ve worked for a few hours from a client’s living room to get more snuggle time in. I’m happy to play, snuggle, feed, and care for your pet to make sure they feel the love in your absence!

I have a black lab puppy that is full of energy so whatever the needs of your dog/cat are, I feel confident I can meet them! I have had a dog and cat my whole life. I am a nurse, working 3 12hr days/week and rover has been an absolute life saver. I look forward to making the same impact to those who need it! I am available 4 days a week as my schedule is different every week. I work 3 days a week so on my days off I have plenty of time to tend to your fur-babies! I can walk, feed, administer meds, play, crate, etc your pup/kitty safely. I have experience with high-energy pups and skiddish cats. About: I have had a profound love for animals since my childhood and it has always been a dream of mine to work with animals. My family fostered dogs and cats of all ages, shapes, and sizes from our local humane society consistently throughout my upbringing along with owning multiple family pets as well. Both of my parents were flight attendants who constantly traveled for work so I have a considerable amount of experience caring for pets while their primary owner is away so you can rest assured that your pet would be in good hands. Rover is my full time job so I will have plenty of time to provide all the love and care your pet would need. I am enrolled in an online tech university for a veterinary assistant certificate that I have morning classes for on weekdays. Weekdays after 12pm and weekends I am free to work and can do my classes in the morning at your house if I'm providing overnight care for a pet if needed. I will create a safe environment for your pet by giving them food and water in the amount and frequency you specify. I will also make sure they have plenty of exercise by walking them and playing with them as much as you would like as well. Making sure your pet is well feed and hydrated, happy, healthy, hygienic, and loved are all top priorities of mine to ensure your pet is as comfortable as possible. If you have any specific requests regarding enrichments or medications I am more than willing to accommodate to those needs as well.
