“Carola was great - we were new at leaving our dog with anyone and our dog is old and not great at being left anywhere. By the second day, she was settling and Carola had her all figured out. We got to enjoy Nelson and not be limited by our dog in the heat or at a restaurant. Would recommend this service to anyone travelling with a pet who needs a special home away from home.”

“Mrs.Kara is absolutely awesome. I have never felt more comfortable leaving Lola with someone. Lola walks into Mrs.Kara's home like she belongs there and comes home so sleepy from playing all day. Mrs Kara communicates so well and takes so many pictures! I will always choose Mrs.Kara!!”

About: I’ve been caring for pets for over 10 years. I grew up with a family dog from the time I was nine, and now that I’m in college, I have a fur baby of my own who I’m currently training. She loves people and enjoys playing with other dogs, so your pup will have a friendly buddy around! In addition to personal experience, I’ve also worked at the Boys & Girls Club of America, where I would bring in dogs for the kids to read to. Watching the joy it brought both the children and the dogs was truly unforgettable. Caring for animals has always been a huge part of my life, and I can’t wait to give your pet the same love and attention. I attend classes through the week, They are only a hour and half long and I have breaks in between. If I have to run an errand my furry friends are more than welcome to go ride along Making sure your pet feels loved and safe — whether in my home or yours — is always my top priority. I’m happy to let pets roam freely around the house and follow their normal routine, since I know from experience with my own fur baby how important consistency is. I want your pet to feel completely comfortable, so if they have a favorite spot to nap or prefer sleeping wherever they choose, that’s perfectly fine with me.

“Wow!! Gracie is absolutely the best!! This was my first time having to board my pup while I was away for work and I can't say enough about Gracie! Friendly, professional, outgoing, accommodating, and so much more. She sent pictures daily to easy my mind while I was working. Id say Pepper loved her time with Gracie, her pups and other dogs that were there. I will be using Gracie any chance I can!!”

“Hello, meeting Jennifer and family (including dogs Maddie and Wendell) was nothing short of amazing and comforting! As we are very new to the Bristol area, we were hoping to find someone as nurturing, caring and experienced to provide the level care we were looking for. During the ‘meet and greet’ in her beautiful and pristine home, Jennifer took the time to tell us about herself, family and the love of dogs, as it was important to her immediately bond with Leo, asks questions and answered any questions we might have had to ensure we were leaving Leo in great hands!! The updates and photos is just an extra level of care, we so appreciate. We will definitely use her again! Thanks Rover for pointing Us Jennifer’s way!😁👏🏾🙏🏼”

“Emma is very kind and was accommodating to my two senior dogs. I felt like they were in safe hands for the day which allowed me to enjoy my visit. I hope to use her again. Thank you Emma!”

About: Hello! My name is Kelley and I have lots of furry children. I have four Siberian Huskies and they make life fun and adventurous! I have experience working with cats and dogs of all sizes and behaviors. I also have experience caring for rabbits as I have my own. Growing up I volunteered at the VCA Adoption center where we took care of the animals looking for homes and spent a few years of my adult life volunteering and running a rescue. I absolutely love animals and treat all exactly as I would want someone to treat my own. 😁 I am available most evenings after 4PM or anytime on Thursdays. I try to be as flexible as I can for last minute bookings to assist in any way I can. My entire front yard is fenced in with 6ft chain link fencing. It has a mini agility course as a fun activity for the dogs. I also have extra crates and can crate if/when needed. If I am coming to your home I will treat it and your pets with love and respect.

“Miss Kitty was a lifesaver! She took our Labrador, Greta, at the last minute even though her schedule was already full. She truly helped us out of a jam and made it possible for us to enjoy parts of our vacation we otherwise couldn’t have. We were even late picking Greta up, and Miss Kitty was so generous and accommodating about it. Greta had a wonderful time playing with her new puppy friends, and when we picked her up, she looked at me like she was ready to stay longer! We’ll definitely book with Miss Kitty whenever we’re in North Carolina. You can’t go wrong leaving your pet in her care.”

About: I have always had a dog since the age of 5. I have trained and taken care of dogs basically my whole life! However, I don’t train, just have done the basics with mine :) I’m here to take care of your pet, and provide ease of mind so you can enjoy whatever you may be doing! I am currently a stay at home mom! I have a small, Maltese, male dog myself, so taking care of a pet is part of our routine! We go on walks and can allow for your pet to lounge and be lazy if needed too! My schedule is flexible, however there may be times I am gone for 2-4 hours at a time. My dog is very easy and flexible, so if yours is too, this is the perfect place! We do not have a fence, but we have a place where we can go on walks in our neighborhood. It’s very dog friendly! If your dog needs to be crated, they can be crated here. My dog is crated at times, but can also stay out, so if yours is trained, I am happy to let them stay out in the house. I can feed your pet at anytime, and provide multiple walks during the day depending on the need. I have a lazy dog, who enjoys sleeping most of the day, so I am able to meet your dogs varied needs!

“We enjoyed working with Hunter and our doodle Boone seems to have enjoyed his day with her. She has a great, fenced-in yard and front porch to hang out on. Boone enjoyed playing with her two sweet pups.”

“Kourtney and her husband took such great care of our Suzy while we attended a memorial nearby. Suzy enjoyed the outdoor areas, and snuggled in inside waiting for us to return. I recommend Kourtney for your pet care needs!”

“Melissa was a fantastic daycare sitter for my girl Dusty. She has a big yard for your pups to run and play in, followed all feeding and other instructions and sent a cute video of her playing. Dusty was tired and slept great when she got home. I will definitely use her again when I am travelling in the area!”

About: I love animals! I was raised around animals all of my life. My parents had a hobby farm, complete with dogs, cats, chickens, goats, cows, emu's, sheep, ducks, pigs, etc. We bred and raised dogs of all kinds: huskies, dalmatians, chihuahuas, beagles, labs, golden retrievers, pugs, and so on. Since my childhood, I've helped feed, care for, and even administer medicine to our animals. I moved to Lexington KY in the Fall of 2010 and decided to take care of others' furry friends while they're away. I started and ran my own dog walking and pet sitting business for 7 years. I ended up closing down to do some traveling. But I sure miss getting out and spending time with my furry friends. Whether you're at work, on vacation, or just out for the day, it will be my Joy to take care of your pets. From midday walks and home visits, to puppy breaks and house sittings, I'll treat your pet as my own, and make sure they get plenty of lovin'. “Do unto others as you’d have them do unto you.” That’s what I try to live by. And I’ll bring that ethos with me everyday to Caring for your seeet fur baby or babies.

About: I have been fostering & training animals for rescues and shelters since 2009. I enjoy fostering because it helps more animals in the long run, I am great with animals that are unruly & have vet technician experience, so you can be sure your animal is in great hands when at my home or in my care, I love cats, dogs & caged animals & will go above and beyond for them. I can do things that most animal caretakers aren’t comfortable with, such as administer medications, light training, cleaning, bathing, grooming, even go pet shopping if needed! I will treat your babies as my own 😊 I have a huge yard & I live a few miles from a park with a walking trail. I own my business and work from home on my own schedule so I can work around my animal care schedule if needed. I have a 6 month old but can and will refrain from contact if needed. I have pets of my own as well as fosters at any given time, however my house is split level and plenty big enough to separate my animals from visiting one's to ensure safety.
