1. Ken B.

“Ken was just fabulous. Arranging the stay couldn't have been easier, and he made me so comfortable leaving Rosie with him. He's obviously an animal lover, and Rosie opened up to him immediately. Throughout the morning, he sent photos and updates - including of a lovely hike along a bucolic nearby stream. Come afternoon, I picked up a tired and happy dog. Rosie will miss him.”

About: I think it’s important for owners to feel at ease while they are away so they can rest assured when I am in care of their kids. I am available for video chats while you are away, will send many picture updates, and love your baby as if they are my own. I have taken care of dogs since I was old enough to walk. I have experience as a vet assistant, familiar with medications. I’ve took in rescues, from puppies to senior dogs- all sizes big and small. I have a passion for animals in general, but I really couldn’t do life without a dog. I can handle any type of dog, even the shy/timid ones I usually seem to be able to make friends with. I’ve had high maintenance dogs that think they are humans, to the easiest. Nothing is a challenge for me. I love making new fury friends and making the families feel safe about me taking care of their four-legged pals, I mean they are our children. I’m currently available basically anytime, I can be up as early or stay up as late as needed. Not a problem for me. I’m pretty flexible and easy to deal with. I do not board a ton of dogs at one time when boarding at my place, so I can fully devote my time to your fury children and pay attention to their every need and safety. I have a personal dog at my house, see my profile of “Jessi Lee” the dog who’s been to 40 states with me… my ride or die… she gets along with other dogs and likes to play and comfort them in their stay. I can also keep them separated if need be. I am also willing to stay in your own home as well, of course location dependent for those who prefer their fur babies to stay in their own home. I am available for walks, drop ins, and day care as well. I can try my best to accommodate to any special request needed to, just shoot me a message and I’ll be happy to chat. My routine is flexible, I only book when I can fully devote to my clients. I never overbook myself so when your baby is in my care they are treated like my own. This is the dogs place, we just live here. Lol really though, it’s their world. Rest assured I can provide your children with the proper care they need whether that be administering meds (I’ve had a dog with diabetes and know how crucial the timing for insulin is, as well as many other medications/times they need given), or just simple lots of cuddle time, whatever their care plan needs.

6. Melissa B.

“Melissa was great. We were traveling with our dog and wanted to bike the Virginia Creeper Trail. Melissa's house was about 20 min from the bike rental shop in Damascus, and it worked out perfectly to drop off our dog for a few hours while we biked. She has a big fenced in the back yard.”

7. Lilly E.

“Great communication and great with my dog. Thank you!”

14. Krystal M.
About: Leaving your loved ones that cannot talk and describe their experience is scary sometimes. You want to be able to trust that they are in good hands with someone who will abide by your training, rules, and care as well as someone who will love them, show them as much attention as possible (especially important since their Person is away), and pay attention to their cues. I have been around cats and dogs my entire life, and love them more than most of the human race if we are being honest. I take pride in making new cat and dog friends wherever I go, and I can't wait to become friends with your best friend! While I love dogs and will enjoy caring for and playing with them, I am particularly drawn to cats. I have experience with both (but yes, primarily cats) since early childhood, and know how to read their body language and gradually warm up to them and build their trust. I truly enjoy the play and attention aspect that is needed when pet caregiving, and while no one enjoys cleaning a litter box or being a pooper scooper, it's something that is worth the reward of their company. I am usually home, with only things like taking my family to their job, school, and sitter as well as store runs taking up my time. I do gig work such as this and shopping/errands/delivery so I won't be away from the pet care job much if a boarding situation, and not for long increments when I am. Safety is key, I check exits before exiting, I will not leave two animals alone together that previously haven't been alone together nor will I leave them alone with kids, mine or any others. I will follow the owner's wishes as to not compromise their pet's routine or anything that could risk their health or wellbeing.

15. Britni R.

“Britni gave my puppy excellent care while in her home. She sent me updates and that was very reassuring. I would most definitely consider using Britni again.”

16. Cynthia R.

“Cynthia was so good to my sweet coon hound. Ellie loved her big yard and Cynthia even had her family’s coon hound come over to play with her. We got pictures and updates. Ellie will be visiting again for sure.”

17. Cara C.
“Cara has been my trusted pet sitter for over a year. She has been reliable and trustworthy and has done a great job with my large mixed breed dog and my older jack russell terrier. They are always happy to see her and love the attention she gives them. She has gone above and beyond to take care of my pets and is the only sitter we would ever use.”

18. William Blake W.
“I can confidently say that Blake is the best pet sitter and dog walker I have ever had the pleasure of working with. Their professionalism, attention to detail, and compassionate nature make them stand out. My pets absolutely love Blake, and I always feel at ease knowing that they are in Blake's capable hands. I wholeheartedly recommend Blake for all your pet care needs!”

19. Layla K.

“Another good stay for Ellie. She has been a tired pup today lol”

20. Aaron C.
“Chase has let our dogs out on multiple occasions while we were out of town. We have a 12 year old pug (Fifi) and a very energetic 2 year old blue heeler/ jack russel terrier (Oliver). Anyone can just let a dog out to use the bathroom and give them food but Chase always goes the extra mile with making sure they get enough exercise and play time. They always get excited when Chase comes over because they know it's play time. he works really well with them and runs off some energy while Mom and Dad are away. This really helps with Oliver's anxiety and we are highly appreciative.”
