About: I have taken care of animals ever since I was younger. I would get paid to walk dogs around my neighborhood and to check on cats. I love hanging out and loving on all animals! Being in college, it makes it hard to have one of my own, but this will allow me to opportunity to be around all the animals that I love! I treat and love your pets as if they are my own! You can expect the best care and love for your pets when you book with me! I love to send tons of pictures to pet parents to ease their minds when they are away from their fur babies! Also, forgive the last picture on profile unsure how it got in there and why it is there! Can’t delete it either. :) I just graduated from Wake Forest University, where I played volleyball. Volleyball taught me a lot about discipline and also shows that I am a very reliable person when it comes to scheduling and time management. I am a current graduate student in the SLP (speech-language pathology) program at App State and am available most evenings and all weekends! At school there is plenty of grass for the dogs to run around and I am able to bring the crate and everything into my apartment if needed. Cats, I am also available to do whatever is helpful and needed! I have my own space with no other animals!

“Do you want your pets to feel so at home and comfortable that they are upset when they leave? Mark's house is the place to be! Due to unforeseen circumstances, Mark helped us on short notice and was able to provide us peace and reassurance that our babies were cared for! Mark kept our male and female German Shepherds, and they had an absolute blast. Mark sent us multiple photos and videos and kept us very up-to-date on what they were doing throughout their visit. He asked questions about their personalities and needs that showcased his care and attention to detail. With his knowledge and experience with German Shepherds, it really shined in the care he provided them! I would definitely recommend Mark, and especially recommend Mark to people with German Shepherds or working line dogs! We and our babies would love to use Mark again!”

Friends and relatives have relied on me and continue to rely on me to feed, look after and play with their pets when they are away. I will love your pets as my own while in my care. I have many years of experience in potty training puppies, crate training dogs of all ages, custom building dog houses for my own pets, Caring for puppies and kittens all the way up through senior years. If you book with me, you can be assured and rest easy with updates about your babies throughout the day. I will also send pictures to ease you mind. I'm always available for a meet and greet session before booking. We can discuss any special needs, requirements or anything else that you or I need to know about your pet during that time while I get to know you and your pet. I am usually available for boarding any time and any day of the week. I prefer drop off and pickups to be scheduled in afternoons after 5pm or anytime on the weekends. I am available for doggy day care most weekends (Saturday & Sunday). I am available for dog walks on most weekday afternoons after 6pm M-F and anytime on the weekends. I will certainly work with you on your scheduling needs! I have a big fenced in back yard and a big play room ready to entertain your pets. I have ring camera security around my home. I can provide a crate for them to sleep in if needed. Your pets will be safe and looked after with love and affection their whole stay! I will send you updates and pictures of your pet during my time with them!

About: As a former veterinary assistant, I have years of experience caring for dogs, cats, and some exotics. As well as dog sitting for friends. But before that, I grew up an animal lover, naturally. From when I was young until now, I’m known for bringing in lost or injured animals— whether it’s a dog or an owl, no animal left behind, friends. ✌️ I have a bachelors in Biology/pre-veterinary science and for the last 11 years I’ve lived on a farm in old beech mountain community with 2 dogs, chickens, and help with my neighbors cattle when I can. I’m familiar with numerous dog breeds and knowledgeable on all ages. From puppy training to complicated senior care, I’ve walked through just about it all. But more importantly, I’ll love your babies as my own. They will be snuggled (if they’re into that) and have plenty of yard to run and explore. *because of my sons cat allergies/asthma, I cannot bring cats into my home. But I’m more than happy to do a drop-by visit to yours to care for them there. I’m currently working more remote days for the summer so I’ll have plenty of time to play with your pups! I’ll keep my calendar updated with my switching working schedule. But weekends are almost always open! I have plenty of yard for them to run around and explore, as well as 2 very friendly dogs of my own to keep them company. Or if they’re a couch potato, I have one of those too and plenty of couch. I’m a homebody so I will be home with them. If you have special care instructions, that’s not a problem at all.
