“Jimena is absolutely lovely! She is so sweet and loving towards the dogs she cares for. She is very organized and responds to any communications I send. She is such a hidden gem for Boone to have. I wish her all the luck in the world with her business!”

“Alyson took great care of our two dogs. She noticed a small bump on my dogs paw that we recently had checked out. It showed her level of care. They we happy and healthy when we picked them up as it looked like they enjoyed their stay as she works from home while also looking after her young son.”

“Heather was an absolute delight! She told me everything she needed, and told me how she planned to take care of Sutton! I am a bit of an over thinker so that was so sweet to me. Sutton was happy the whole time! She was cared for like she was one of Heathers dogs! She followed Suttons schedule perfectly! I was able to relax and know that Sutton was in good hands while I was on my trip! I will definitely be booking with her again!”

“Our puppy had a great time playing and running in Carlos’s large backyard with the other dogs she was watching. She had a wonderful 3 night stay and Carola send lots of pictures and videos to keep us updated! We can’t thank her enough!”

“We are so happy we found Fran! Fran was wonderful with our pup Lupine. She took her walking, on play dates, and let her snuggle with her. Staying with Fran was like a puppy vacation for our girl. I highly recommend Fran!”

“Execellent service. I had an unplanned situation and fur guest that would have to stay with them as well and they embraced it without complaint and did not make me feel as thought I was burdening them even though I am sure I did at a little! They are so caring and loving for my furbabies and I would not choose anyone else!”

“Gracie is a great dog sitter, she communicates well and timely, clearly loves animals, and provided a safe and loving home for my dog. Attie (my dog) had a great time fetching balls and playing with her dog toys. Gracie even sent a couple of balls home with her. I would highly recommend Gracie, and would not hesitate to ask her to dog sit again.”

“Daisy seemed to have thoroughly enjoyed her time with Ken. He took excellent care of her and kept us updated with messages and pictures as to how she was doing. Many thanks! I would definitely recommend Ken and will use him again!!”

“Rachel was great and has a large fenced in area where the dogs can really run and play. Though Jade was a bit nervous at drop off, a day later Rachel reported she had really come out of her shell and was fully engaged in play time. Rachel sent us images of Jade a couple times which really helped us relax. Would definitely send Jade her way again.”

“Amanda did a wonderful job! Very friendly. Took great care of our two dogs. And provided an update every day we were gone, sometimes including photos. Will definitely use her again.”

About: I’ve had dogs in the home since I was a small child and host small dogs (under 20 pounds) in my home. I'm new to booking through Rover, but can supply references, if requested. I’m excited to open my door (and heart) to your pup for day visits or overnights. I have one super tough 6 pound Shihtzu-Chihuahua in the house so your pups must be friendly with other dogs. I also have experience with puppies and caring for senior dogs. I work from home so I'm at home all day and night during the week. On weekends, I'm never gone for more than 3- 4 hours at any one time. Most of the time, I'm home with the fur babies. I have a house with ample room to welcome up to 2 dogs (same owner) at a time. I have a fenced back yard area allowing for exercise and free roaming. I never leave pets outdoors unattended. Dog's will normally sleep in my bed with me, but totally fine if they prefer their own bed in my room.
The median cost per night for dog boarding in Mountain City is $40
Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Mountain City
We had to go out of town to attend my Mom's memorial service. Our dog has never been away from us for more than 2 days. We weren't sure how everything was going to work out and whether or not he would be ok, but it seems that he really had a great time and was very much Loved and taken care of. Melissa was very good at sending pictures and keeping us updated on how our sweet pup was doing. We will DEFINITELY leave our boy with Melissa again in the near future.

If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
