“Lori took great care of our cat while we were away for 2 weeks. She came twice a day always checking in with the app. Our cat looked healthy and happy when we got home. She went above and beyond taking care of some house issues as well. 5 stars!”

About: For many years I’ve looked after my family’s pets, I’ve had 3 dogs and 3 cats whom lived long and pampered lives. Neighborhood pet sitting and extended family’s trips, I was always there to look after their fur babies. I’m a full time college student with a flexible schedule looking to take care of any and all of your pets needs. Whether you want a sitter for a day or a few weeks, I can accommodate. Weekends or weekdays I can make myself available within a reasonable time slot for the occasion. Whether pets need to be crated before bed or their meals need special attention I’ll make it happen. Any specifications my client deems necessary for their furry friends is on my agenda.
About: I have experience caring for three dogs. One was named Maia, an Australian Shepherd who belonged to my aunt. She was very energetic, and I spent a lot of time playing with her. I also cared for a German Shepherd named Rex. Although he was calmer, I played with him frequently as well. The third was Mango, a very small puppy with lots of energy. I fed all three dogs the appropriate amount of food based on their weight and at their scheduled feeding times. I also took them to the park regularly, although I took Mango less often because he was still a puppy. I am available to work on weekdays from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and I can also start as early as 8:00 AM when needed. During that time, I am happy to care for your pet by providing walks, feeding, playtime, companionship, and ensuring they are safe, comfortable, and well cared for throughout the day. If the visits involve feeding, I would stay with the pets to play, keep them company, and give them a little extra affection before leaving the owner's home—naturally, always within the limits and guidelines provided to me. As for walks, I would make sure to bring everything necessary to ensure the pet feels comfortable and has a good, playful time.
About: I’ve had welcomed my first pet ever when I was 10 years old , then in 2012 I’ve have welcome another fur baby to the family . Being around my own personal pets made me love doing dog sitting a lot more so starting in 2013 I’ve decided to volunteer and also become employed with the services of onboarding , dog walking , etc . I love doing my job when it comes to pets because I think of them as my own. I am currently working Monday - Friday but my schedule is also very flexible. I am free on the weekends if services are needed as well. When caring for your pets in your home or my home they are well taken care of between any medications, a routine that they follow I will make sure that while your away they will be left in great hands .
“Jorge is awesome! He took fantastic care of our cats for a few weeks and communicated how they were doing often. I’m pretty sure the cats were sad when we came back and they couldn’t hang out with Jorge any more. Will definitely use him again next time we travel!”

“Elisa was a wonderful sitter for our two kitties. I greatly appreciated the extra effort she took to work with us when our schedule changed due to bad weather. And I know Jack enjoyed getting a little play time!”

About: I’ve had my two cats for about three years now, and we’ve built a routine together around feeding, playing, sleeping, and everything in between. Every day when I walk through the door, they’re the first two to greet me. I make sure they’re always fed, clean, hydrated, well cared for, and most importantly, safe. I work full time during the week, so I’m generally unavailable during the day, but I’m usually free in the evenings after work and have full availability on weekends. I live in a two-bedroom, ground-floor apartment with a private, enclosed patio where my cats can safely explore outdoors without the risk of escaping. We also have an extra bedroom set up so they have their own space and time when they want it.

I’m an animal lover, and I’m ready to meet some new friends! I used to service dogs in East Midtown and have experience with many breeds and temperaments. I also own cats and have worked professionally as a cat sitter in Chelsea/Downtown. I recently moved to the area and can offer walks, sittings, and boarding. We can set up a free meet and greet to see how we can work together to help your companion thrive. I work 10am through 6pm Monday-Friday for walks, extra charge for anything outside of that time frame and weekends/holidays. Inquire about sittings/boardings. Safety is always my priority when it comes to any sort of service. I follow any given instructions and communicate with the parents if I have any questions/concerns. I’m also CPR certified.

“Kameron always does an amazing job with my kitties. She went above and beyond to take good care of them over the Christmas holiday and even helped out with a small emergency we had with our heating system. I can’t recommend her enough.”

“Ana did a great job taking care of our kitties, even though they are super shy and hid most of the time. She went above and beyond looking for them and making sure they were safe! Absolutely will ask for her help again in the future.”

“We had a great experience with [Name] caring for our cats. She took the time to play with our very antsy cat and gave our shy, scaredy cat the space she needed, exactly as we requested. It was clear that she paid attention to each cat’s personality and needs. She was also very thoughtful about the little details, including rinsing out their food bowls so there were no lingering smells and making sure their medication was given with their food. We appreciated how attentive and caring she was while looking after our cats. We would definitely feel comfortable having her care for them again!”

About: I have spent my life with dogs and grew up taking care, playing, nurturing, and training dogs for as long as I can remember. Their place in the family is just as strong as any family member, and I love to give them the dedicated attention they deserve! Available any day of the week for services provided! As a freelancer, I spend a lot of time at home and have a completely flexible schedule. I am available any day of the week to execute any experience needed. Have flexible time on my hands allows me to give your 4 legged best friend all the time they'd need to play, walk, and be given special attention. I live in a great part of town that has a lot of safe, walking pathways as well as a fenced backyard. We live in a private apartment in a family-owned three-family house in Lower Westchester. Morning and evening walks are part of our daily rhythm, and we make time throughout the day for play, feeding, and cuddle sessions. My teenage son is very involved—he loves helping with walks, playtime, and making sure each pet feels right at home. Whether we have one guest or a few, they’re always integrated into our family life with love and consistency. In our home, pets are treated like family. We provide a safe, clean, and loving environment where they can relax and be themselves. They have access to cozy spaces indoors, a private deck for fresh air, and a small backyard for outdoor time. We stick closely to each pet’s routine—whether it’s feeding schedules, medication, or special care instructions—to ensure a smooth and stress-free stay. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I’m respectful of their space and routines. I make sure pets feel comfortable and secure, keeping things as familiar as possible. Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Mount Vernon
Karen was absolutely wonderful with our cat, Mia. This was our first time using Rover, and naturally we were a little nervous, but Karen immediately put our minds at ease. She was professional, reliable, and incredibly communicative throughout our entire trip. After every visit, she sent detailed updates with photos, letting us know exactly how Mia was doing, how much she ate, how she was behaving, and anything she noticed around the apartment. She also went above and beyond by keeping an eye on the AC, replenishing food and litter when needed, and paying attention to all the little details that made a big difference. Mia is a very shy cat who takes time to warm up to new people, and Karen was so patient and understanding with her. Even when Mia became fearful and scratched her, Karen remained calm, compassionate, and professional, always respecting Mia's boundaries while continuing to provide excellent care. Thanks to Karen, we were able to truly enjoy our vacation knowing our little girl was in caring and capable hands. We are incredibly grateful for the kindness, patience, and dedication she showed throughout the week. We would not hesitate to book Karen again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a thoughtful, dependable, and experienced pet sitter.

Lori took great care of our cat Pablo while we were away for over a week. She followed all the instructions we left for her so well and even managed to give Pablo his liquid oral medication with no issues which is a challenge! We really appreciate Lori’s help and plan to definitely reach out to her again in the future.

Vicenzza showed up on time and was reliable, communicative, and caring throughout the visit. She took great care of Tucker, and I felt completely comfortable knowing he was in good hands. The whole experience was easy and stress-free. I would definitely book with her again.

Lizette was a wonderful sitter during our recent week away. It’s been very reassuring to get her detailed updates and to know someone caring and responsible is checking in on the kitties and our home when we’re away. We’re so grateful for her time and highly recommend her.

We appreciated how attentive and caring she was while looking after our cats. We would definitely feel comfortable having her care for them again!

She was amazing! She did everything exactly as requested, including changing the pee pads, refreshing Oreo’s water, cleaning up after him, giving him his lick mat, and spending time playing with him. She also kept everything clean and followed all of my instructions perfectly. I really appreciated the care and attention she gave Oreo, and I felt completely at ease knowing he was in good hands. I would definitely book her again and highly recommend her!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
