“First time using Rover, and Stephanie made it a stress free experience. She offered to meet with our dog (Callie) first, prior to booking, to get a feel for her and her routine. Callie had a great time on her walk and was a happy camper.”

“Abby was a long term dog walker for us while I recovered from a broken leg. She was always so kind and friendly. My dogs absolutely loved her and were always excited to see her! We would absolutely recommend Abby!!”

“Billie is lovely and fantastic with our pup. She is super to work with and we look forward to having her help out whenever one or both of us are traveling!”

“Jill was excellent with Stella. She cared for and loved Stella like she was one of her own. Stella went on nice long daily walks with Jill and sometimes she included her dog Murphy. This was good because Stella needs to lose some weight and the two dogs got along well and liked to play together. She always documented their walks thoroughly and shared pictures. Jill has watched my pets for decades and I 100 percent trust her with all of them.”

“Mya is fantastic! Was very flexible with our last minute needs. Great with my two rambunctious dogs and always timely. Definitely going to book again and would recommend to anyone reading!”

About: I’ve been passionate about working with animals for as long as I can remember. Growing up, our family always had pets, and we spent years fostering dogs and volunteering with rescue organizations. As I got older, I expanded my experience by volunteering at an animal shelter, working with both cats and dogs. This led to a job as a dog daycare attendant, where I had the opportunity to facilitate group play, monitor behavior, and ensure both safety and cleanliness in a busy environment. In addition to my professional experience, I also created my own dog sitting business, building a loyal clientele over the past several years. With more than a decade of experience raising family pets, fostering dogs, and working in pet care, I’ve developed a deep understanding of animal behavior and a strong commitment to providing compassionate care. Whether it’s providing individual attention or managing group play, I’m dedicated to ensuring every pet feels comfortable and loved. - 10+ years raising family pets - 10+ years fostering dogs - 9 years pet sitting - 4 years as a dog daycare attendant My availability varies. Feel free to message me so we can work out a schedule! I work full time in a hybrid position and am typically free on weekends. Your pet's safety and comfort is my top priority! Due to my extensive experience with animals, I am completely comfortable with any scenario that may be presented. I have worked with all sizes, temperaments, and ages of animals.
“Amy has been a Godsend for me. I travel a lot and on short notice at times. Amy had alleviated so much concern for me with finding who will check in on my "little girl" when I am called out of town. Highly recommended.”

“Mitch is a wonderful dog walker! & incredibly punctual, precise, and took amazing care of our dog. Our pup absolutely loves spending time with Mitch. Thanks so much, Mitch for all your help!”

“Billie was so sweet to my dog Darwin, super friendly, and very easy to communicate with. She helped me figure out a few things in Rover and was very flexible with days and times. She sent me great videos and pictures of my furry friend, made sure that he had fresh water. I was very pleased with Billie's service and would recommend her to anyone!”

About: Hello, my name is Olivia I am a mother of 2 boys and I work a fulltime job on the night shift 9pm to 730am Saturday to Tuesday or Sunday to Wednesday. Whether you have dogs, cats, or exotic pets and reptiles, I am here to help. I provide frequent text updates and pictures to ensure you have total peace of mind while you’re away. I am a full time stay at home mom, so my schedule is very open and flexible. I am home almost 24 hours a day every day. About: Hello! My name is Danielle Martin. I have a master's degree in School Psychology from Millersville University and I work at a local school district. In my spare time, I enjoy being outside, cooking, and of course, spending time with all the doggos! I currently have a 6-year-old Bernese Mountain Mix, named Ryker, who I adopted in May 2020. Best quarantine decision ever! Previously, I have owned two Great Danes, so I have experience with large breeds. As a dog sitter, I aim to spend as much time with your dogs as possible, so that their time spent away from you is a pleasant one. If the dogs are up for it, I love taking them on walks and hikes, playing with their favorite toy together, and of course, snuggling and relaxing together. Since starting with Rover, I have met so many amazing pups of all ages and sizes. I also have experience with cats, small pets, birds, and reptiles! I look forward to meeting your furry friend! I am currently not working for the summer (one of the perks of being in public education!), which allows me to have a very flexible schedule. I can easily incorporate pet care into my daily routine and adjust my availability to meet your pet’s needs for walks, drop-in visits, playtime, feeding, and companionship. I am not providing in-home sitting at this time. When at a clients home, I am respectful of the property and aim to leave the home in the same (or better) condition as when I arrived.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
