I am available each day starting approximately at 3:30 and can do early morning prior to school. Whether your pet needs overnight care, companionship during the day, or some extra exercise and attention, I am committed to providing the same level of care and affection that I would give my own dogs. As a teacher, I am currently on summer break, so I have availability daily throughout the week for play sessions and dog walks. I am also available for multi-night lodging. When you’re here, you’re family. Any animal under my care will be treated as one of my own. But with me, you get a whole family who are all trained in caring for dogs and cats, as each member of the household has been involved with fostering pups and raising kitties. The second floor of the house is separated by a door at the top of the stairs to allow separation between feline and canine friends if needed. Daily photos and FaceTime are available. We have multiple-sized dog crates if crating is requested. Although we may be new faces to your four legged companions, we will try to keep consistency in the rules you have at your home. If they are allowed on your couch, then they will be here. Feeding schedule will be dictated by how they ate at home. Walks will be frequent and there is a huge box of dog toys and cat toys to keep them entertained.

I have dog and cat sat for friends, making house visits to care for them or hosting them in my own home. I attend to every detail provided as every pet is unique and their comfort is most important, especially when their favorite people are away. I am detail-oriented, responsive, and dedicated to your pet's happiness and safety. Due to my own responsibilities and schedule, I am not able to stay at your house full-time during a sit. This means I can stay throughout the day, 8am to 8pm with 1 break of up to 3 hours OR overnight with 1-2 visits throughout the day for meals and exercise, etc. If you are looking for someone who can be with your pets all day and overnight, kindly seek another sitter who can better fit your needs. :) I work full-time as a teacher and have my own family, so I cannot provide around-the-clock care for your pet. I can drop in for walks, mealtimes, and check-ins, but I cannot stay full-time in your home while you are away. I know the body language to look out for given my experience with my own dog, Willow, and know what to do to help an anxious dog feel safe. I have also cared for my own cat, Fig, since we adopted him at 4 months old. He has Irritable Bowel Disease, which means we have to administer daily oral medications and feed him Hydrolized food that is easier for him to digest. I have since learned which signs to look out for relating to cat health such as changes in behavior, bowel movements, and eating habits. Overall, I am an extremely attentive, empathetic animal lover who would consider it a privilege to look after your pets as if they were my own.
