About: I couldn’t imagine life without dogs. I’ve grown up with a dog or two my entire life and they are truly family, and treated as so. I’ve cared for my own, in addition to family, friends and neighbors animals as well. I’ve dealt with puppies all the way to senior dogs, giving medications and special care. Our dogs are so loved and so will yours! I’m off all summer long, but during the school year or on the days I do go somewhere, my husband works from home 95% of the time and tends to the dog/pets. We have a newly fenced yard to keep your fur baby safe, with lots of room to run and play. We have a black lab female that will be a great companion and playmate for your pet! About: I have taken care of my own pets and others for over 25 years. Our current house includes 3 dogs and 2 cats. I have a lab, golden and corgi. I also welcome foster animals into our home when i can. I am currently a stay at home mom so I have flexibility to visit multiple times a day or host in my own home. My dogs are very friendly with others and welcome new friends and people. I do have an electric fence but am happy to keep dogs on the leash to go outside. I am happy to crate if needed for your dog. I keep extra crates in my home to use.

I know how hard it is to find a caring person to watch your pet, instead of a kennel. I also have had to give my first dog insulin shots 2xs a day, also have given her medicine daily. Best quarantine decision ever! Previously, I have owned two Great Danes, so I have experience with large breeds. As a dog sitter, I aim to spend as much time with your dogs as possible, so that their time spent away from you is a pleasant one. If the dogs are up for it, I love taking them on walks and hikes, playing with their favorite toy together, and of course, snuggling and relaxing together. “Amanda was extremely helpful, attentive, and reliable when we needed to board our doggie, Gastón. She was flexible in us bringing homemade food for the 4 days Gastón would be staying with her and she gave me all of his things back in pristine condition. On the evening of our pickup, our flight was delayed by close to 1 hour, which pushed back our pickup time. She was extremely understanding when we communicated this with her. We offered to pick him up the next morning, but she shared that she is fine with us picking him up late that evening, which we definitely really appreciated! Also, Gastón gets dirty faster than other breeds, but Amanda kept him clean and he came back to us in the same condition we brought him at the start of boarding. Last but not least, Amanda shared updates with us for all 4 days, sending us photos of our lovebug and letting us know how he was doing that day. It relieved a lot of anxiety for us while we were away. We are extremely grateful for all the careful attention Amanda paid to our pup and will definitely be leaving Gastón with her again!”
