“I come to charlotte twice a year and always in the need for a dog sitter for at least one day while I’m here for the white water center and she helped me feel completely comfortable with my baby boy In her care, she was responsive, accommodating and seemed completely confident in handling multiple dogs at a time! Would recommend her”

About: I’ve been around animals since I was a baby my grandparents bred Akita’s for years. I would give them bottles, play, cuddle and walk with them. I have experience with big dogs and little. I’d treat your fur baby as my own. Lots of walks, cuddles and whatever instructions you give me I will do precisely! I’ve cared for a Chinese sharp-a who needed much medicine and drops in his eyes due to all the wrinkles. Also a beautiful brown lab who had many anxiety issues as well as eating issues but I was able to take care of them and help them. I absolutely adored those precious fur babies as I will yours My daily routine is getting up at 7am then make breakfast for my kids. I work at an office part-time (dog-friendly) and am blessed to have a husband who works from home. Depending on the day we usually play with the kids outside or go to parks. I let the clients tell me how they would like me to care for their pets. I like to get a schedule on their daily routine and what I need to do to make them feel the most comfortable while their parents are away.

“Amazing! Was so great with Peanut and making him feel comfortable and understanding his allergies! Sent me photos through out the day :) Highly recommend!”

About: I have over 20 years experience as a pet sitter. I had two dogs named, Gizmo, breed - Shiatsu/Maltese mix, 7 pounds, 16 years old and Bullet, breed - Maltese/poodle mix 25 pounds 16 years old who've passed away displayed in my profile pictures. Your Pet's home away from home. Taking care of your babies is important, by providing a Pet friendly neighborhood with a park a block away and a fenced in backyard for your pets to enjoy. My experience in Pet care is from having my own pets and caring for family, friends and volunteering over the years. I'm currently working from home full-time, so I have plenty of time to play with your pets. I'm availble weekdays and weekends from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm. I have a fenced in back yard and I'm an empty nester so can provide your fur baby with all the attention they need. I can easily crate your dog if needed.

“Tracey and Aaron were fantastic!!! Chloe loved going over there and playing with their dogs- she also always came home tired so I know she had fun running around with them! They were so loving and caring towards Chloe which is what I want when someone else is watching her. I would love to have her over there again when I need help with taking care of her and I know she would love to go play there again as well!”

About: My husband and I are both home most days of the week. Your dog will get loads of attention with our huge fenced yard and playing with our own dog. In addition to play time in the yard, we also guarantee at least 1 walk a day (weather pending). We have a Pitbull/Boxer mix who is somewhere between 5-7 years old. She loves playing outside and running around, but most of the day is pretty chill. We have watched many other dogs before and she has done great with them. If she needs a break from other dogs, she’ll go hide out in a bedroom for a bit. Our own dog is allowed on furniture and is not crated, but we will ensure your dog follows rules that they are used to. We do have a 18 month old baby who does great with our dog, but we would only want to take dogs that are confirmed ok with children. We are open to a meet and greet before taking on any new dogs in our home. For walking and drop-in services, I may have to bring my son occasionally. He would be in a carrier for the walk/drop-in. I work from home Monday-Friday and my husband has a hybrid work schedule that is always changing. We have a fenced yard and our dog goes outside at least 4 times a day for potty breaks. We go on a nightly walk, about a mile long that your dog could join for. Because of our baby, we don’t leave the house often so there are seldom instances where your dog would be left alone. We have a fenced yard and a playful pup of our own. She loves to run around in our yard with other dogs. Our dog is allowed on the furniture and is not crated, but we are open to taking crated dogs! We take leashing very seriously. Our own dog is a runner so we are very careful when opening doors and going on walks.

“Lauren was a great communicator and very warm and friendly. I sense from our communications that she was a safe place for my dogs. She was very flexible and willing to go above and beyond. The dogs had a great time. I highly recommend her and will use her again.”

“My dog and I recently moved to Charlotte and I needed to find someone to take care of her (Penelope) while I am away on work trips. I was worried about it but I found Kate on Rover and I couldn’t be happier! Kate is very close to where I live, she has 2 dogs of her own that are lovely and a huge back yard! A dogs paradise! I listened to Kate as she advised maybe Penelope should do some day care visits before my first trip, I listened and Penelope was so tired from her day of playing, she slept all night! I will let you know how the overnights go but I have no doubt I have found someone who will care for Penelope like I would! Thank you Kate!”

“Can’t scream it enough but if I could rank her 15 stars I would. She’s very flexible, patient and informative. My puppy loves her. He barely wanted to come home with me!”

“This was my first time using Rover to find someone that would look after our pup for the day. Christina was very upfront answered all my questions and concerns. When the day came to meet and drop off our dog, after talking with Christina I felt better. She sent pictures throughout the the and texts to let us know what she and our dog was doing. To make a long story short, things went so well that I asked Christina if she was available for a later date. Our dog liked her that’s all that mattered.”

Frances P.

“Frances is an animal lover. She not only loves dogs, but any other animal known to man. She currently owns two dogs at this time, that she loves and cares for on her own. She also has loved and cared for other people's pets when they could not, due to: going on vacation, change in work schedule etc.. You could not be looking at a better caregiver than Frances. Once you see how she interacts with your pet, they might not want to come back home to you. LOL!!!!!! PLEASE gave Frances a chance to prove her loving and caring talent with your loving animal.”

“I've relied on Jerrel to care for my three-year-old Maltipoo whenever I’m out of town or need extended day care, and I couldn’t be more grateful. He’s incredibly attentive and treats my dog—and all the pets he watches—as if they were his own children. His home is spacious and pet-friendly, and he even takes the dogs to the park when his schedule allows. Jerrel does a great job balancing playtime and downtime, making sure the pets in his care are both happy and well-rested. I always feel at ease knowing my dog is with someone so responsible and caring.”
