My family homestead is home to dogs, cats, and a thriving garden, so providing attentive, compassionate care comes naturally to me. When your pet stays with me, they become part of the family. Unlike traditional kennels, pets enjoy a comfortable home environment with plenty of attention, playtime, and companionship throughout the day. I have a large fenced area for safe outdoor time and exercise, as well as multiple levels within my home that allow me to accommodate different personalities, energy levels, and needs. Whether your pet loves to socialize or prefers a quieter space to relax, I can create an environment where they feel comfortable and secure. I understand that every pet is unique, and I take the time to learn their routines, preferences, and quirks so their stay feels as close to home as possible. You'll receive regular updates, photos, and communication throughout your pet's stay because I know how important peace of mind is when you're away. My goal is simple: for you to enjoy your time away knowing your pet is safe, loved, and treated like one of my own. I'm a teacher currently home for the summer, spending my days building our family homestead. Caring for animals is already woven into my daily routine, from tending to our dogs and cats, to working in the garden and enjoying life outdoors. Because I'm home and actively caring for my own animals throughout the day, welcoming boarding pets into my home feels like a natural extension of the life I'm already living. I have a fenced yard, lots of room indoors, and multiple levels to give pets the quiet or fun they desire. I have routines to care for our animals and will be glad to follow whatever your pet is used to!

About: Because I work remotely, pets are rarely left alone for long periods of time. I have hands-on experience caring for pets of all ages and energy levels... from a senior dog who became blind and deaf, which taught me patience and gentle, consistent care, to my current puppy, where I focus on training, routine, exercise, and positive reinforcement for high-energy needs. I also have two cats with very different personalities, so I am very attentive to body language and always respect each pet’s comfort level, allowing them to warm up at their own pace. I work remotely and am home throughout the day. This allows me to provide frequent potty breaks, regular walks, playtime, and plenty of companionship without dogs being left alone for long periods. My mornings usually start with feeding and a walk or outdoor time. Throughout the day, I schedule additional walks, play sessions, and enrichment based on each dog’s energy level and needs. Because I’m home, I can easily adjust my schedule for puppies, senior dogs, or dogs who need extra attention or routine. I make sure routines stay consistent from day to day so dogs feel comfortable, secure, and at home. Dog care isn’t something I squeeze into my schedule—it’s part of my everyday life. My goal is always to provide a safe, attentive, and loving environment where dogs feel happy and well cared for. I take safety, trust, and comfort very seriously and always care for pets as if they were my own. Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or in a client’s home, I focus on maintaining their normal routine while providing a calm, secure environment. In my home, pets are closely supervised and never left unattended for long periods of time. Because I work remotely, I’m able to be present throughout the day to monitor behavior, provide regular potty breaks, walks, and attention, and ensure pets are comfortable and relaxed. I keep my space clean, pet-friendly, and free of hazards, and I’m careful to follow any household rules provided by owners. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I respect their space and follow all care instructions closely. I make sure doors and gates are secure, food and medications are given as directed, and pets receive the level of interaction and exercise they’re used to. I’m also attentive to changes in behavior, appetite, or energy and communicate updates promptly. My goal is always to create a safe, low-stress environment where pets feel secure and owners feel confident their pets are in good hands.

About: My family jokes that I was raised by animals. 🤣 I have had pets since I was born, and considered them my best friends. I have had jobs in dog grooming, some experience in training, volunteered at my local SPCA, currently an active volunteer for Angels To The Animals & even became a full time artist selling commissioned pet portraits! Everything about furry animals & waggy tails brings me immense joy and happiness. Animals calm my soul. Today, I have 3 of the most spoiled doggo’s out there. I narrate their thoughts, talk to them like they’re babies, and they are even insta-famous! They have their own bedroom, closet, dresser, mountains of toys, and an abundance of clothes/accessories. I truly do work hard so my dogs can have a better life. I have experience in housecleaning so I regularly entered people’s homes. Rest assured, I’ll leave your house the way I found it (maybe better if I see an animal mess that needs tending to). I’ll treat your home like my own. I have responsibilities Tuesday- Friday from noon- 1:00 however I’m available before or after. Ideally, I am looking for regular clients that consistently need someone to hang out with their fur babies. I would meet you and your fur baby, and get a lay of the land. If you need me to feed them, water them, give treats, I would just need to know where to access them. For cats, if you need me to clean the litter box, I would just need to know where the bags, & scooper are. Also where you’d like the waste disposed.

About: Hi! My husband and I are both hybrid workers, so we’re home often and have flexible schedules that allow us to spend quality time with the dogs we watch. We live in a two-story home with no kids or pets of our own, which means your dog will have a calm, quiet environment with plenty of space to play and relax. Since there aren’t other animals or distractions, we’re able to give your dog our full attention, lots of love, and care tailored just to them. My experience with dogs goes back to when I was 3 years old, and had my first family dog that I grew up with like a sibling! From that moment, I always treated dogs as part of the family. I rescued my second dog while I was in college from a shelter, and I also spent many years pet sitting for my neighbors, which was truly a dream job because I got to spend all day long playing with dogs. I also have experience caring for senior dogs and understand the extra patience, gentleness, and routine they often need—whether it's administering medications, helping them up stairs, or just giving them a peaceful spot to nap. We work full-time, but have hybrid schedules where we work from home most of the week. We make sure to rotate our in office days so one of us is always home. We are able to provide potty breaks every hour! For exercise, our neighborhood is suitable for long walks. We also have a yard where we can play with your dog, as well as several nearby trails.

About: Hello! My name is Alexis I’ve taken care of dogs for the past few years ranging from pups to senior dogs. My whole life iv been an animal lover. Family and friends have relied on me to check in and take care of there animals while on vacation or even when there day is really busy. At the current moment my availability is pretty much open except on Wednesdays. I would love to take care of your pets and be the person you trust with them! I’m currently not working so my schedule is pretty open except on Wednesdays. So therefore any services you’re looking for I’m open on. I have no dogs at home my house is a smoke free environment. My yard isn’t fenced in but it is a decent size to go on a good walk.

About: I have always had an innate love for animals! Starting at a young age I have always been around dogs, cats, and horses. I have trained many animals and am known among friends and family as the animal whisperer! I currently have two fur-babies, Blue and Barley. They are both spoiled rotten! Both are treated like family and have a pretty paw-some pet life! They both go pretty much everywhere with me and love people and other animals. They are full of energy and are provided play time, training, and multiple walks per day. Blue was rescued from a bad situation at a young age and is my little sweetie. Blue likes to talk (hunting breed, so he has that bay) and loves to play- he is also very good at moderating his play based on the size and energy level of his playmates. Barley came to us a very young age and has been worked with since day one. He is the friendliest gentleman and tends to go everywhere with us. He likes to hold your hand and cuddle and is basically like a little human! I truly care about animals and will go above and beyond to provide the best care to them. If your dogs are trusted with me, they will get nothing but the best! My schedule is very flexible and I’m home a lot of the time. If your pet is here with us, we try to stay home as much as possible and offer frequent outside breaks, playtime, and cuddle time. I have two very friendly dogs of my own- they love to play and are pretty good at adjusting their play behavior to their playmates. I’m happy to accommodate your pet's needs in any way I can. I want them to feel like you never left. I’m also happy to help with training, crate training, leash walking, etc. I often work with pet parents to make sure all behavior expected with them is reinforced during my visits. I like to learn what their day typically looks like and help to parallel that while you're away to limit their stress and anxiety.

About: I have 16 years of small animal care experience and 14 years of large animal care. I am comfortable with following strict routines and I will always give extensive notes. I am dedicated to follow your pets normal schedule/routine 100%. This includes overnight and early morning full care. Their comfort and wellbeing is my main concern. Strictly routine driven to keep pets on their normal routines. Being in a new place or around new people can create stress so I try to alleviate any additional unnecessary stresses.

About: I was a volunteer rescuer and foster home for several animal rescue organizations, I have cared for elderly animals as well as puppies, I know how to administer medications. I am available every day of the week, as well as in the evenings, I can take them for morning or afternoon walks, depending on the pet owner's preference. I don't have my own pets, I live in an apartment that does accept pets in a quiet neighborhood with green areas to walk peacefully.

About: My husband and I are both home most days of the week. Your dog will get loads of attention with our huge fenced yard and playing with our own dog. In addition to play time in the yard, we also guarantee at least 1 walk a day (weather pending). We have a Pitbull/Boxer mix who is somewhere between 5-7 years old. She loves playing outside and running around, but most of the day is pretty chill. We have watched many other dogs before and she has done great with them. If she needs a break from other dogs, she’ll go hide out in a bedroom for a bit. Our own dog is allowed on furniture and is not crated, but we will ensure your dog follows rules that they are used to. We do have a 2 year old who does great with our dog, but we would only want to take dogs that are confirmed ok with children. We are open to a meet and greet before taking on any new dogs in our home. I work from home Monday-Friday and my husband has a hybrid work schedule that is always changing. We have a fenced yard and our dog goes outside at least 4 times a day for potty breaks. We go on a nightly walk, about a mile long that your dog could join for. Because of our baby, we don’t leave the house often so there are seldom instances where your dog would be left alone. We have a fenced yard and a playful pup of our own. She loves to run around in our yard with other dogs. Our dog is allowed on the furniture and is not crated, but we are open to taking crated dogs! We take leashing very seriously. Our own dog is a runner so we are very careful when opening doors and going on walks.

About: I have grown up with animals my entire life, from cats and dogs to goats and horses, so have plentiful experience with all! I love being outdoors and active and already spend most of my free time taking my own dog for walks on the greenway or hikes in the mountains. I am extremely reliable and work from home with a very flexible schedule so am open to all types of pet care! I work from home majority of the time so will have plenty of time to spend with your pet! I’m open to boarding/day care in my own home or available to travel for walks if your pet is more comfortable staying home. In the fall and winter months, I’m home most weekends so would have a lot of opportunity for weekend boarding as well! I have an almost 7 year old fur baby of my own who loves company and getting to play with other dogs. She gets spoiled with multiple walks a day on my work from home days and we have a few dog parks within walking distance that we utilize frequently. I live near downtown Lincolnton so am in a very safe and dog friendly area. If your pet prefers to be the only dog, I would be more than willing to make a couple trips per day to your home for some outdoor time and walks, as my work schedule is extremely flexible. My dog was crate trained as a puppy so I do have experience with that and would be more than willing to help with training during the day if your dog needed midday walks but was still getting comfy in their crate!

About: We are a homeschool family with lots of boys and lots of yard to run around in. I am home most days so taking dogs out to play or taking them on walks is no problem. Our family has a four year old Aussie who is very friendly and loves other dogs. Her name is Lily and she’s been part of our family since she was 8 weeks old so puppies don't scare me either. My children are kind and gentle and can be trusted to love on your dog. Your dog will not be left alone for extended hours but will feel like part of the family. I can send text updates as well. I am excited to start this journey! I am super flexible and ready to help. We are home most days and weekends. We love going to the park and going for walks. We have a very active lifestyle and spend lots of time outside. I will try to replicate the care you give your pet. I can crate them or let them roam and sleep wherever.
