About: I grew up with a dog, and have always lived with either a dog or cat as an adult. My heart just fills with joy when I am around all four legged friends. I currently work full time as a pediatric medical assistant, but would be happy to come by after work to take care of any sweet dog or cat. Currently do not take care of of animals at my current residence as I am living with family who prefers to be pet free, but I am happy to come to you!

About: Hi! I’m River. I was raised with dogs and cats (and birds and turtles and fish) as a child, and as an adult I have raised my own from puppyhood/kittenhood through their senior years. I am comfortable with puppy potty training, litter box training, cleaning messes, handling kitten/puppy energy, etc. I can do light grooming (brushing fur, cleaning with wipes, applying powders, etc) and give medications. (I can even do baths with the right set-up, and advanced notice.) I typically like to do a little light housekeeping anywhere I stay; I live by the motto of “leave it better than you found it.” I also have a wide range of experience and am comfortable caring for various other pets that might need tending while you’re out. In general I love all animals; when asked if I am “a dog person or a cat person,” I say, “yes.” I have done lots of pet-sitting for friends and family (including fostering for a year, to help a friend of a friend while she finished school) and I love meeting and getting to know new animal friends. I am finally joining Rover at the recommendation of many friends and family members who think caring for people’s pets is an excellent job for me. I’m new to Rover, but not new to pet care, and if you trust me with your pets’ care you will find they are in very good hands! I am happy to care for your pets in the way that works best for them: coming regularly to take them for walks, scoop litter boxes, and pick up puppy pads, etc., or staying with them in the comfort of their own home if they need more than drop-in attention. If in-home sitting is needed for extended periods, I may need to leave for a few hours at a time, but I can work around your pet’s needs for specific mealtimes, walk/potty times, etc. I love all pets as the individuals they are, and care for them as if they were my own. You can rely on me to follow detailed instructions, keep you updated, and make sure they are as happy and well-cared-for as can be while you are away.

About: I have taken care of animals since I was a kid. I have experience with a wide range of dogs. Ranging from small dogs to large such as German Shepards and Great Danes all the way to chihuahuas. I take pride in having the patience in getting to know each animal and their needs. I have a calming caring demeanor and work hard to build trust with each animal. I have a lot of experience walking dogs, feeding, house sitting cats and dogs and am a go to for friends and family. I have worked with all breeds and take care of them as if they're my own! About: My wife, Connie, a retired nurse, and I have had six dogs over 35 years. We miss them dearly. I have raised dogs from puppyhood through their senior years so I understand the patience, structure and affection that go with it. I am retired from my legal practice of 35 years, and very active. I love long walks and have a nice fenced backyard if pet sitting is needed. Whether your pup needs long walks, gentle companionship or just someone who treats them like family I’m committed to make them feel safe, loved and genuinely cared for. After being self-employed for 35 years I am looking for something to keep me busy and I can’t think of a better way to spend my time. I have a very flexible schedule so I am basically available 24/7. In my home I will provide a warm, clean environment, plenty of attention and lots of outdoor activity since I’m an active retired person with plenty of time to give.
