“Juliann did such a wonderful job of taking care of our beloved dog. She took the time to introduce herself and her lovely family and we got a chance to have Yoda do a meet and greet. Their house was very warm and inviting and they really took to him. They were very thorough with all of their questions and made sure that they were equipped to take good care of him. During the trip they gave us constant updates and photos and we felt very safe that he was in good hands. when we went to go pick him up, he did not seem that enthusiastic to leave, which was both sad but also a great sign of how much fun he was having there. We absolutely would work with them again and recommend them to anyone looking to have their dogs be in safe and loving hands.”

He had a hot spot that needed to be treated with medication and she was good with applying the medicine and it was pretty much healed by the time I picked him up. About: Hi! I’m River. I was raised with cats and their kittens as a child, and have always bonded closely with them. I adopted My Own Cat promptly upon turning 18 (in 2002); Khaki was with me for 18 years, outliving his adopted brother Leo (my sister’s cat), who ended up living with me as well. I’ve also cared for my exes cat (Alli), and my son’s first cat (Lady Grey), and my current grand cats, Cas and Zizi. I am comfortable with litter box training, cleaning messes, handling kitten energy, etc. I can do light grooming (brushing fur, cleaning with wipes, applying powders, etc) and give medications. I have experience helping cats with ear, eye, gastrointestinal, and kidney problems. I typically like to do a little light housekeeping anywhere I stay; I live by the motto of “leave it better than you found it.” I also have a wide range of experience and am comfortable caring for various other pets that might need tending while you’re out. I'm available to check in on, cuddle, and treat, at your home, or daycare in my home with my well-behaved dogs. I have a big escape-proof backyard and lots of time to spend with all the fur kids. While at my house, dogs are allowed anywhere they want to sleep. I am also available for pick up and delivery for vet visits, and groomer appointments. I've 30 years of experience working with dogs as an owner, breeder, therapy dog partner, and rescue group director. I've pretty much seen it all with small dogs. I also have experience with big birds (cockatoos, macaws, African gray and South American parrots, and cockatiels). I love almost all animals. I'm retired and so can pretty much fit additional pet care into my daily schedule. I've managed multiple pets for many years, including Japanese Chin rescues, who often had special physical and emotional needs. About: I've had dogs, cats, fish, hamsters and birds for the past 40 + years. I want this experience to be a great one that is stress free for you and your animals. If they are use to a certain routine eat at a certain time, walks ect. Please let me know. I will treat them like they are my own. I am available for holidays and last minute trips I would love to care for your fur kids. I have lots of love to give & would love to spend time with them. I can adapt to any situation. About: I've always been an animal whisperer, with animals of all type. I grew up on a farm/forest, and befriended wild animals on a regular basis, as well as our domesticated dogs, cats, chickens, ducks, goats, pigs, horses etc. Since then, I have volunteered for animal shelters, continued befriending all animals I meet, honed my skills with consciously working energy between animals/humans, even learned some animals massage. And currently have friendly dogs, cats, goats, chickens on the 62 acre farm. We also have private areas for your pet, away from other animals. We have multiple people on land, and care is upon self or 2-3 others. We allow only one inside house dog at a time and 2-3 in our shaded outdoor pens. We have fenced areas, some outdoor pens, and some animals of the right nature are allowed inside the home, if that is welcomed by their owners/their demeanor is right, during times of extra special personal attention.
About: Hi! I’m River. I was raised with dogs and cats (and birds and turtles and fish) as a child, and as an adult I have raised my own from puppyhood/kittenhood through their senior years. I am comfortable with puppy potty training, litter box training, cleaning messes, handling kitten/puppy energy, etc. I can do light grooming (brushing fur, cleaning with wipes, applying powders, etc) and give medications. (I can even do baths with the right set-up, and advanced notice.) I typically like to do a little light housekeeping anywhere I stay; I live by the motto of “leave it better than you found it.” I also have a wide range of experience and am comfortable caring for various other pets that might need tending while you’re out. In general I love all animals; when asked if I am “a dog person or a cat person,” I say, “yes.” I have done lots of pet-sitting for friends and family (including fostering for a year, to help a friend of a friend while she finished school) and I love meeting and getting to know new animal friends. I am finally joining Rover at the recommendation of many friends and family members who think caring for people’s pets is an excellent job for me. I’m new to Rover, but not new to pet care, and if you trust me with your pets’ care you will find they are in very good hands! I am happy to care for your pets in the way that works best for them: coming regularly to take them for walks, scoop litter boxes, and pick up puppy pads, etc., or staying with them in the comfort of their own home if they need more than drop-in attention. If in-home sitting is needed for extended periods, I may need to leave for a few hours at a time, but I can work around your pet’s needs for specific mealtimes, walk/potty times, etc. I love all pets as the individuals they are, and care for them as if they were my own. You can rely on me to follow detailed instructions, keep you updated, and make sure they are as happy and well-cared-for as can be while you are away.

I found out sitting with works I will follow instructions plus add my own routine with each animal in order to make animals calm. About: I’ve pet sat for over 10 years for friends & family. I’d love to care for yours. I have two tabby’s who are well trained and have been around dogs in the past. My pup unfortunately passed away last summer and I’m not ready to get on full time but would love to care for yours as I cared for her and give them the best experience while you’re away. I have the weekend free, Columbia and I tend to go on hikes and or at the park. During the week, I go home directly to let my own dog out to the bathroom. I will follow any instructions following your pet. I understand how important consistency is. We have a side yard for playing, potty breaks or sunbathing.

I have worked with all breeds and take care of them as if they're my own! It’s hard leaving your 4 legged babies but when they’re in my care you’ll never have to worry about them. I have my own business so I’m usually with clients from 10-1, pick up my daughter from school at 230 and will have the evenings at home to walk and play the pups! With weekends off it allows me to be full time loving and playing with them! We have access to great walking trails and dog parks! Must be kid friendly as I have a 2 and 12 year old! I live in a farm house outside of town and there is currently no fenced yard so we will travel into town and take advantage of nature trails or dog parks so your pup gets plenty of exercise, as we are very active ourselves! My daughters LOVE animals so they will get lots of family love!

We were gone over a week to Hawaii and I received regular updates and pictures. I could tell they were well cared for and having a great time. It was a good peace of mind being so far away.
