About: We are a dog loving family and have one dog named Link who loves to make new friends. When going out of town, we've struggled to find many places that will treat Link how we would and make him part of the family, this inspired us to provide this for other families and dogs. There will typically be someone home with your pet when they are staying in our home, Haley stays at home with the kids and would let your dog out to play in our large backyard as often as needed. She can also take dogs on walks and keep them comfortable in our home during the day. We will have a crate or dog bed inside available for nighttime sleeping. Our children are taught to be kind and gentle to animals and are so excited to meet new dogs. We have fenced in chickens in the yard. Nathan has been through multiple obedience and agility training courses through the years and has experience with various breeds. We look forward to meeting you. We are at home a lot with the kids and pets. Haley is at home with the kids during the week and Nathan works around the block. We have a fenced, large yard which is very secure for dogs. We have toys and balls to throw for the dogs, they will have lots of play time.

About: I've taken care of dogs for almost my whole life! I am working on becoming a certified dog trainer and currently work at a doggy daycare facility. I have worked with all breeds and take care of them as if they're my own! I strive to care for the needs of your pet in the time of your absence like they were my own. I’m currently taking care of and walking fur babies full time. I’m very flexible and am available most days for drop-ins and walks. I’m available to house-sit as well in the comfort of your fur babies home with reasonable know time in advance. Just reach out and I’m sure we can figure something out Having someone who isn’t family stay in your home with your fur baby can be daunting, but I take the upmost care of your fur baby and the household. I have a motto to “leave it better than I found it” meaning I may end up cleaning the whole house in the process of cleaning up after myself haha. Whatever care instructions you have for your pet I will follow to the t as well as pick up after myself and respect your space.

About: I was a veterinary technician for 10 years. I have worked with every kind of animal out there at every stage of life. I switched career fields, but I’m still a animal lover who misses working with dogs. I’m currently working full time Monday-Fridays. I have hour lunches so depending on location I could do a potty break or short walk during that slot. I also get off at a decent time in the evening and have weekends completely free. Unfortunately I would not be able to do pet sitting, or walks at my home due to my dogs behavior. But I am more than willing to drive to the fur babies home to take them potty near by or if okayed, to take them on a walk on a nearby trail. About: Hi! I’m River. I was raised with dogs and cats (and birds and turtles and fish) as a child, and as an adult I have raised my own from puppyhood/kittenhood through their senior years. I am comfortable with puppy potty training, litter box training, cleaning messes, handling kitten/puppy energy, etc. I can do light grooming (brushing fur, cleaning with wipes, applying powders, etc) and give medications. (I can even do baths with the right set-up, and advanced notice.) I typically like to do a little light housekeeping anywhere I stay; I live by the motto of “leave it better than you found it.” I also have a wide range of experience and am comfortable caring for various other pets that might need tending while you’re out. In general I love all animals; when asked if I am “a dog person or a cat person,” I say, “yes.” I have done lots of pet-sitting for friends and family (including fostering for a year, to help a friend of a friend while she finished school) and I love meeting and getting to know new animal friends. I am finally joining Rover at the recommendation of many friends and family members who think caring for people’s pets is an excellent job for me. I’m new to Rover, but not new to pet care, and if you trust me with your pets’ care you will find they are in very good hands! I am happy to care for your pets in the way that works best for them: coming regularly to take them for walks, scoop litter boxes, and pick up puppy pads, etc., or staying with them in the comfort of their own home if they need more than drop-in attention. If in-home sitting is needed for extended periods, I may need to leave for a few hours at a time, but I can work around your pet’s needs for specific mealtimes, walk/potty times, etc. I love all pets as the individuals they are, and care for them as if they were my own. You can rely on me to follow detailed instructions, keep you updated, and make sure they are as happy and well-cared-for as can be while you are away.

I have multiple years of vet assisting experience where I had to deal with lots of different dog temperaments and stressful situations. I helped with dog handling, surgeries, medications, anxious dogs, senior pets, and I know dog CPR. Also, I worked at a doggy daycare/pet hotel where I would administer medications, give food and water, exercise, help train, conduct behavior tests, puppy playtime, and spend my days fulfilling dogs needs while their owners were away.
