“Monte the poodle was instantly comfortable with Kevin. Kevin is attentive, has great communication, and even got a stool sample for me during Monte's recovery from illness. I feel completely relaxed knowing Monte is in good hands while I work. Thank you, Kevin!”

About: I am a stay at home mom with two toddlers and we currently own a 75lb Pitbull/GSD mix (6 years old), one orange tabby (4 yrs old), 6 hens and a 9 month old bunny named Lady. We are experienced foster pet parents; we have fostered cats and dogs between the ages of 6 months to 12 years old. I have 6 years of dog care experience and 10 years of cat care history. To better understand our dogs, we had hired an in-house dog trainer to enhance our dog-human relationship. I do not have any official certs, but I do have an extensive amount of pet experience! I can also check in on small pets like guinea pigs, rabbits, fishes, reptiles, etc. and walk dogs of any size; including big dogs like Great Danes (we owned a mixed Great Dane three years ago). When you book with me, I will be treating your pet with the same love and respect I have for my own pets. I have personal experience in medicating with OTC or prescribed medications as well. I am a stay at home parent, I have a very flexible schedule. I can usually do any job requested of me, just let me know the time that works for you. My rates can also be adjusted to fit your budget. When booking a day care or boarding appointment - I can only take in one dog or client per day. This ensures we are keeping your pets safe and are frequently interacting with them. We have an extra indoor dog kennel, for safety reasons, and a large fenced in yard to play in. We have extra dog bowls and will only feed according to your directions! I will have extra snacks, leashes and dog poop bags on hand when walking your dog. With dog walking or check in appts at your home - I will be very respectful of how you would like me to treat your pets. If you are looking for guidance on how to correct certain walking behaviors (like leash pulling) I can offer some light training during my booked time. This is dependent on your comfort level. I don't generally treat train, unless you would like me to. Thank you for reading my bio, I hope to be of service soon!

I love animals and am very excited at the chance to be around them more! I have a fenced yard and my own dog as well who gets along great with everyone. I have crates if needed and a park very close to run some energy out!
6. Ingrid C.
About: Currently live with a black void of a cat and have 4 more cats back at home with my parents! I love all animals and I am the go to pet sitter among my college friends. I love to go on walks by myself, so why not be joined by a lovely pet? I have lived with cats, German shepherds, small dogs, and a lot a lot of fishes. Currently working a part-time job with a flexible schedule and also attending college full-time. However, I am free almost every hour on Sunday, Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday! And I am even free for so quick dog-walking any day! Any type of care I provide will be adapted to what suits your needs the best. Nobody knows your pet better than yourself. Also, every pet is different! Some are energetic and some barely spend any time awake! Either way, I will provide great quality care.
7. Aubree U.
“Aubree is a wonderful and attentive person, in all regards. Absolutely great with my pets and now that I have a new puppy, I will be requesting help with him, too! When my pets are in her care, I have zero worries and know that they are safe and well watched after as if they are her own. I definitely recommend!”
8. Sarah H.
“Sarah is one of the biggest pet lovers that I know! As her mom, she was the little girl who would be standing in our driveway with lost pets (or just pets in general) from our neighborhood. She always wanted to rescue them and make sure they were safe. She has a lion head bunny of her own now and treats her like her child! She’s always been obsessed with animals and would definitely provide amazing care for any pet! Sarah is also reliable and compassionate towards people and animals. I highly recommend her!”
9. Melissa L.
“I've known Melissa for many years. I can say our wonderful barn cat was raised by Melissa. She made her a loving pet that we cherish. Melissa has told me of all her pet responsibilities from feeding the varied cats, dogs, horses and goats on their farm. This is a daily task she responsibly and joyfully sees to. Because she's been raised a farm all her life, she has more experience and duties than most pet owners. I would trust Melissa with any of my pets.”
10. Shandra A.
“Shandra was amazing. She went above and beyond, made sure Bear got water after their walk, left everything where it was, sent lots of pictures and had great communication!”
11. Lisa F.
“Lisa is fantastic! Bohdi and Lilly loved her and she can handle both of them together too. They are only 1 1/2 so they can be a bit excited when they see other dogs for being Golden Retrievers they want to play. Lisa has the experience to handle them very well. I highly recommend her!”
12. Monica W.
About: I have been a dog lover since I was little and have now owned my yellow lab Max for 9 years. I have been the go-to dog walker/sitter for friends and family for years. I enjoy throwing doggie birthday parties with homemade treats! I am currently working every other week so should have plenty of time on my week off to give some extra love to your dog. Being a dog owner myself and having a very short list of people I trust to care for my dog, I understand how stressful it is trying to find a stranger to care for yours. I promise to treat every dog with as much love and care as I would my own.
13. Sarah W.
“Sarah is amazing with our two vizslas. She often stays overnight and cares for them -- and brings her lovely, well-behaved dog, June, with her. Our dogs love her and her dog! One of our dogs takes daily medication, and Sarah is diligent at caring for her with her medical needs. She appreciates that each dog has their own personality, and caters her care to them so they are comfortable. I swear sometimes our dogs are maybe a little bummed out when we come home after a vacation! (OK, not really, of course they're happy to see us, but they obviously had a great time with Sarah and June!) Bonus: When something goes wrong in the house, Sarah is proactive at trying to get it fixed. She's also flexible with bad weather! She has been willing to go the extra mile in so many ways for our sweet babies. I highly recommend Sarah for any length of time!”
14. Brianna S.
About: I love dogs and as much as we would like one of our own… we will substitute our love with sitting and loving yours while you’re away!! I've worked 2 years at a pet store when I was younger have hands on experience in pet care from puppies to seniors! I would love to meet your fur babies and when they're with me I'll love them as if they're my own. It’s hard leaving your 4 legged babies but when they’re in my care you’ll never have to worry about them. I have my own business so I’m usually with clients from 10-1, pick up my daughter from school at 230 and will have the evenings at home to walk and play the pups! With weekends off it allows me to be full time loving and playing with them! We have access to great walking trails and dog parks! Must be kid friendly as I have a 2 and 12 year old! I live in a farm house outside of town and there is currently no fenced yard so we will travel into town and take advantage of nature trails or dog parks so your pup gets plenty of exercise, as we are very active ourselves! My daughters LOVE animals so they will get lots of family love!

16. Jeanette H.
“I like to tell you my true a and great experiences I had in the last two years knowing Jeanette, from the first time meeting her she made my days since then a joy knowing her, she's always had a great attitude about life and I never left feeling bad about anything, she's I have to say one of the best person I met in many years and I felt I was blessed to have her as my friend, I have two dogs and they get more exciting seeing her than me lol, she's got this thing about here with animals, same for other dogs in my area they all seem to get excited when she's appears around them, I can go on and on about Jeanette but you'll know what I mean once you meet her in person she's very caring, lovable with animals, and to humans, im just thankful in my 67 years I finally got my chance to call her, my friend, and I don't just say this about too many people, so I thank God”
17. Madeleine K.
“Madeleine has walked our juvenile Aussie twice now. As a fellow Rover sitter myself, I have pretty high standards, and she has been great. Easy to communicate with, good attention to detail, and willing to help with the training protocols we are using related to polite greeting & walking. 👍🏼 🙏”
18. Audrey H.
“Audrey has been passionate about the proper care of animals for as long as I've known her. The first time I was at her house, she showed me how she had trained her cat to spin, high five, and jump onto her shoulder. She feeds her cats from a measuring spoon, regularly at noon and at night. She cares very much about the proper keeping of all animals, as she used to live on a farm. I have many animals myself (chickens, dogs, cats, goats, etc.) and of all my friends, she is the one I would trust the most to care for them all properly, as they need to be cared for.”
19. Madelyn H.
“We have to elderly dogs Jake (pit/lab) and Gracie (corgi) my BF works out of state and I visit often Madelyn has been great while I am gone has always been respectful of our space and the pups love her!! Our pups sometimes won’t eat while I am gone but Madelyn always seems to get them to eat!! I have less worry and can enjoy my time away when she has Jake and Gracie!”
20. Joe k.
“Joe is a very experience Volunteer dog handler at Marion County Dog Shelter. Joe has been a Volunteer for two years and 5 months with 342.93 service hours. Joe is here at the shelter every Saturday morning from 7:30 am to 9 am. He began as a Dog walker, but as Joe became more skilled and comfortable in his handling and understanding of dog behavior, he's able to work closely with staff at Level 2 and Level 3 Dog walking, which means more one- on - one time with difficult and behaviorally challenging dogs. Joe performs his volunteer role to an exemplary level, he demonstrates extraordinary commitment to Marion County Dog Shelter as well as Marion County stray dogs. Joe is such a great help, especially when the dog shelter has 30 + dogs in kennel. He makes a difference in that dog's time here at the shelter and those dogs greatly benefit from being out of the kennel for a while (running around the play yards, sniffing, etc.). The greater community also benefits from Joe’s handling skills because the dogs have a knowledgeable handler to make them feel comfortable, safe, and willing to go outside with different volunteers. Overall this reduces any stress the dogs may feel during their shelter stay. Joe’s insight about each dog helps staff assess the behavior of the animals before being adopted as well. Joe preforms above and beyond and offers his expertise and skills to help the stray dogs of Marion County. Joe is great with the dogs, and staff appreciates his input, time, and social contact with the dogs during their stay at the shelter. All this is invaluable towards understanding the lost and stray dogs of Marion County.”
