During the trip they gave us constant updates and photos and we felt very safe that he was in good hands. when we went to go pick him up, he did not seem that enthusiastic to leave, which was both sad but also a great sign of how much fun he was having there. I'm experienced in cage-cleaning, play time, giving medication, walking, and light training. I have pet-sat for several dogs, cats, and smaller friends. I highly respect any rules or training routines you and your fur babies adhere to. As long as I have clear instructions, I will stick to your guidelines. I have friends whose dogs have high-maintenance routines, and I know how awful it is when someone else interferes with those routines. I will love your pets like my own, but I will absolutely follow whatever expectations you set. I have flexible availability this summer. About: We are a dog loving family and have one dog named Link who loves to make new friends. When going out of town, we've struggled to find many places that will treat Link how we would and make him part of the family, this inspired us to provide this for other families and dogs. There will typically be someone home with your pet when they are staying in our home, Haley stays at home with the kids and would let your dog out to play in our large backyard as often as needed. She can also take dogs on walks and keep them comfortable in our home during the day. We will have a crate or dog bed inside available for nighttime sleeping. Our children are taught to be kind and gentle to animals and are so excited to meet new dogs. We have fenced in chickens in the yard. Nathan has been through multiple obedience and agility training courses through the years and has experience with various breeds. We look forward to meeting you. We are at home a lot with the kids and pets. Haley is at home with the kids during the week and Nathan works around the block. We have a fenced, large yard which is very secure for dogs. About: I’ve owned cats all my life, and a few dogs. I have experience volunteering at a local animal shelter, working with both cats and dogs when I was younger . I have a 4H background as well. We adopted our dog Frida 2 years ago. I’m a stay at home, homeschooling mom with a flexible schedule. We are home often and already own a dog. It's not much more work to add one or two into the mix. About: I grew up with dogs in the home my entire life. We currently have a 10 year old rescue hound who was not potty trained, could not walk on a leash, would not eat when we first adopted him. Now he is a well trained dog and loves being around other dogs! We’ve had many friends’ dogs stay in the home with us for short and long periods of time and are well equipped to look after any dog! I am currently at stay at home mom with my daughter and am available for dog walks most afternoons during the week. I can be very flexible during the afternoon to walk a dog for as long as needed. As a dog walker, I do not intend to have dogs in my home but will care for pets in the owners home according to the owners instructions.

I’ve been with Rover and doing Animal care professionally for a little over two years. If you’re looking for a pet nanny to give some extra love and care I’m your gal! :) My schedule is very flexible as I am self employed. So this allows me to be available for extra love and all your pet care needs :) I know it can be a little nerve wracking for your pets or you as a pet owners to leave your pets (and home) alone especially with someone new! I hope to make a calm and joyful experience for your fur babies especially if they have separation anxiety. I can give as much love, care, and play time needed to soothe these moments. All animals are different and I like to cater to that. Getting a new babysitter can be off putting for anyone… haha I feel animals are more comfortable when they get to stay in their own environment instead of having to acclimate to new spaces and energy. During the stay I will provide lots of fun photo updates so you can stay up to date on all of our adventures and cuddle moments! I look forward to meeting your fur babies!
About: I've taken care of dogs for almost my whole life! I am working on becoming a certified dog trainer and currently work at a doggy daycare facility. I have worked with all breeds and take care of them as if they're my own! I'm currently working part-time at a doggy daycare facility which makes me completely avaible for Thursday, Friday and Saturday I am also avaiable on Sundays after 4:30pm and Mon-Wed after 6:30pm I make sure all their needs are met lots of pkay time and loves and of course potty breaks! Love to go for long walks to get those paws stepping and have a tired pup once you're home!

I've been around animals for most of my life, and my love for caring for them eventually led me to work as an Animal Care Attendant at an animal hospital that offered hospital care, daycare, and boarding services. In that role, I cared for dogs and cats of all ages, breeds, and personalities. My responsibilities included preparing meals, taking pets on potty breaks, maintaining a clean and safe environment, supervising daycare playgroups, and caring for boarding pets while closely monitoring their health, behavior, and comfort. This experience taught me how important patience, attentiveness, and adaptability are because every pet has unique needs. I know trusting someone with your pet is a big decision, and my goal is to make both you and your pet feel comfortable. Whether your pet enjoys long walks, playtime, cuddles, or simply having someone nearby, I'll care for them with patience, kindness, and lots of love. I'll also send regular updates and photos so you can have peace of mind while you're away. I can't wait to meet you and your furry family members! I am currently working two part-time jobs, and as I transition out of one of them, my schedule will mainly be open on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. On Mondays and Fridays, I am free any time in the morning up until 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM. As a prior ACA, your pet’s safety and comfort come first. I maintain clean spaces, follow detailed care instructions, and communicate consistently to ensure peace of mind.

When I’m in town and she walks them, I can tell by the way they greet her what a big treat it is for them to spend time with her. I found out sitting with works I will follow instructions plus add my own routine with each animal in order to make animals calm. “We could not have asked for a better sitter. Our rescue puppy and senior dog needed mid-day walks and it was our first time leaving the pup. Both dogs are a bit high maintenance but Emily flawlessly took them on. Her communication was so appreciated and really kept my mind at ease while being away from our dogs. About: I love dogs and as much as we would like one of our own… we will substitute our love with sitting and loving yours while you’re away!! I've worked 2 years at a pet store when I was younger have hands on experience in pet care from puppies to seniors! I would love to meet your fur babies and when they're with me I'll love them as if they're my own. It’s hard leaving your 4 legged babies but when they’re in my care you’ll never have to worry about them. I have my own business so I’m usually with clients from 10-1, pick up my daughter from school at 230 and will have the evenings at home to walk and play the pups! With weekends off it allows me to be full time loving and playing with them! We have access to great walking trails and dog parks! Must be kid friendly as I have a 2 and 12 year old! I live in a farm house outside of town and there is currently no fenced yard so we will travel into town and take advantage of nature trails or dog parks so your pup gets plenty of exercise, as we are very active ourselves! My daughters LOVE animals so they will get lots of family love!

You can cancel day of and request day of. I work in salem so I can give animals potty breaks during the day near chemeketa. I have a flexible work schedule. “I cannot thank Katie and her family enough for their excellent care of our labradoodle Olive while we were out of town for a week. Katie met Olive before the trip, sincerely inquiring about her likes and dislikes. She was on time to pick up Olive and cared about transporting her safely. My dog Cedar can be reactive, barking, jumping, even nipping when meeting people but with Jordan, it was like a completely different dog. Calm, relaxed, and instantly comfortable.
