I am a passionate, hard working and highly reliable lifelong pet lover with over 35 years of experience caring for a variety of pets (dogs, cats, reptiles, birds, fish, etc.), both at home and while working at a veterinary clinic. I have an undergraduate degree in Zoology, and a master's in Science Education. I spent many years working in the pet supply industry, where I developed a deep expertise in the field of dog and cat nutrition. During that time I did nutritional consulting with individuals, as well as presenting on radio and to students at the UW-Madison veterinary college. I also have a deep love of dog training, including agility and frisbee. Additionally, my wife and I helped friends start a farm, where we lived for four years raising and milking goats, as well as tending chickens and pigs.

I believe in treating pets with the utmost of care since they are reliant on us for their needs. I have a fully fenced yard, a friendly cat, and we are new parents of a young Australian Shepherd pup, born Feb 24, 2023.

This was my first time using Rover and Kevin, and I couldn't be more pleased. Kevin spent extra time with Poppy before her walk to make her feel comfortable with him. This was not expected, but much appreciated! He also sent me plenty of photos and a nice summary of their walk which was reassuring. I can see why Kevin has received several 5 star ratings. Zeitplan
I work from home, so my schedule is somewhat flexible. I am generally not available from 7am-1pm, but can make exceptions with advanced notice. I can work from anywhere, so house sitting is usually not a problem.
