About: I've always had a special connection with animals and genuinely enjoy being around them. Over the years, I've cared for dogs and cats for family and friends and have always enjoyed getting to know their unique personalities. One of my favorite things about working with dogs is teaching them fun tricks and basic commands. I've successfully taught dogs to sit, stay, roll over, and beg. Once, I even taught my dog to walk backwards on two legs 🤭 I love seeing them learn and gain confidence through patience, consistency, and plenty of positive reinforcement. I'm also someone who loves being outdoors, so long walks, playtime, and making sure dogs get the exercise and attention they need is something I truly enjoy. Whether your dog is energetic and adventurous or prefers a slower pace and extra cuddles, I'll do my best to make them feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you're away. About: I've owned a dog most of my life. I love dogs, but at this stage of life, I find it more rewarding to care for other people's pets and not own one of my own. I had a black lab for 14 years. She was my best friend. I'm sure you feel the same way, which is why you are looking for a sitter. Why place your pet in a kennel when I can stay with them in the home they know? Take that long weekend, or extended stay, knowing your home and pet are safe under my care. I'm an early riser. The dog is often my alarm clock. I prefer to let the dog out in a fenced yard. If the dog is well-trained on a leash, I can walk it and pick up droppings. We enjoy breakfast. I avoid people food, no matter how much they beg, unless you tell me otherwise. Active dogs want to play. Most will show me their favorite toy or game. I am retired but work from home. I am an artist and post my work online. I will ask for your wifi connection. Most pets stay with me while I work. We take frequent breaks to play, cuddle, or go out. The dog tells me what he/she is used to, along with your instructions. I'll follow your feeding and treats schedule to the letter. Later in the day, we watch TV. Many dogs enjoy Animal Planet or sporting events. I am an NFL fan and find many pets like the games too. At bedtime, I am OK if your pet wants to sleep with me. I find that a family with a fenced yard works best for your dog and for me. Your pet may act differently on a leash around other people or animals with me than they do with you. Keeping them safely in a yard avoids them breaking free of their collar or tangling with another dog. I will rarely need to leave your home during my stay, but if I do, your pet will be secured per your instructions and your home locked.

About: I've owned and cared for pets since I was in middle school. I own a lovable and silly orange tabby cat who lives with me and my wife in our apartment. I currently help my parents take care of their 2 labradors; one chocolate and one yellow, while they are at work during the week. I'd like to offer the same service and love to your furry friends. I am generally available every day of the week, except on a Sunday. If needed badly, I can do Sundays, but only 1pm or after. I make it a point to follow instructions very carefully in order that your pet gets everything they need and deserve. (medications, walks, vet visits[if necessary], etc.)

About: I have 2 years experience working with dogs at Laurel Oaks Animal Science where I gain experience with boarding, grooming, walking, and pet first aid. I'm currently available everyday but wednesdays and my schedule is very flexible. I have a cat and a dog, who I care and tend to on a daily basis and I also have years of experience in animal care, husbandry, daycare, and grooming. I take care of my cat and my dog daily. I also weekly give them both baths, trim nails and paw pads and give them preventatives each month. I also take care of dogs in my education daily. I give oral medications and preform first aid if needed.
