Your Perfect Dog Sitter!
I have had had rescue dogs and puppies for the last 25 years, primarily Shetland Sheepdogs. I have retired from teaching Kindergarten, so if you want a mature, responsible person to watch your animals, I'm your person. (and my son is our local veterinarian so I have immediate access to veterinarian care if needed. How many dog sitters can say that?) Our dogs have also gone through dog obedience training, so I understand the right way to communicate with your animals. I'm an active outdoor person (hiking, camping, canoeing, downhill skiing etc.), so caring for, walking or whatever your animals' needs are, I can do it. If you are planning a trip or just need your dog checked on during the day, you want to hire someone you know is trustworthy, responsible and will care for your animals the way you do. I am that person. You also want to know once you hire your dog sitter, that can be checked off your "to do" list and you can move on to something else. I will not cancel on you if you book me. Let’s set up a meet and greet!! I'm happy to do this for you before you hire me. You'll be glad you did.

Diane did an awesome job taking care of our Fur babies. Made my trip out of town more enjoyable knowing that they were being cared for by Diane. Easy to talk to and always kept us up to date on what was happening at home. Very happy we hired her !!
Diane was wonderful with communication! She was also very accommodating for one of our pups who am be challenging at times. She also made sure they received medications that are needed daily. We appreciated the pictures while away too! Would 100% recommend her to care for your pets!

I can’t say enough wonderful things about Diane - she is truly incredible! Upon meeting her, we learned she is extremely thorough - asking great questions, taking detailed notes, etc. She took amazing care of our dogs! We have one dog who is difficult when meeting “strangers,” but Diane handled her so well and of course they became fast friends. Our dogs are very stressed when we’re away but Diane made them feel so comfortable. She also shared updates and photos often which made me feel so much more at ease. Can’t recommend Diane enough!

Schedule
I'm retired and have a lot of flexibility to my daily schedule. I have always loved animals and to me Rover is a perfect fit for me in retirement. And allows me the time and flexibility to devote to your animals' needs.

Safety, trust & environment
Caring for your pets in your home requires following their schedule and adhering to the needs they have. That gives an animal security. They will miss their owners, but hopefully I can momentarily fill that void while you are gone. You want to come home to happy pets!
