About: I frequently dogsit for friends and family, and I've had my soul-dog for 5 years! She's a rescue shepherd-husky mix and has taught me SO much about training and caring for a smart, high-energy dog! She's entering her senior years and has slowed down a lot, which means I have more time in my day to care for other pups, whether it's a check-in, walk, or boarding in my home. I have a fenced front and back yard, and with my location in Church Hill, there are countless places to walk and explore. I currently work from home 95% of the time! The other 5% is a mix of working at coffee shops and going in to my work's coworking space, but I'm never away from home for more than 8 hours a day. My days are very flexible and I'm happy to work around you and your pup's schedule! I have a fenced front yard that is grassy and a shady, fenced back patio/yard that pups can run around in. I only take 1 boarding or day-care client at a time, so your dog gets my full attention (alongside my pup!). Your dog must be friendly around other dogs for boarding or day care.

About: I’m the family pet sitter because not only do I follow their routine but I make sure my sweeties are loved and entertained. I’m a nursing assistant part time so I have loads of hospitality experience! Friends and neighbors also rely on me to pet sit (includes exercise, play, meals, and meds) I work from home in Church Hill and am able to provide care in the morning, mid day, and evening. I do my best to ensure that they stick to their usual routine. All dogs also get a leashed walk - length and pace depends on their physical condition (older dogs may be more interested in sniffing and strolling while younger pups need to burn more energy). I also provide some playtime inside or outside in a fenced area (if available). Meals and medication are distributed as instructed.

About: For the last 5 years, I've been volunteering care for a herd of goats on Gillie's Creek Park. I am also the primary farm sitter for several friends' homesteads and a frequent pet sitter for friends and acquaintances. I have a broad range of experience: handling elderly animal care, newborn feeding/monitoring, pet anxiety, unique medication/feeding schedules, and general care for most farm/domesticated animals. Typically not away from home for more than 3 hours at a time during marked available hours. My schedule can be adjustable if coordinating in advance. If caring in your home, I ensure that all items are back where they were originally left and that all feeding bowls and areas accessed are cleaned and organized. My home has a fenced-in yard, plenty of plants, natural lighting, and no other pets to contend for attention or food.

I have two dogs of my own, who are very high energy and very reactive, so I am very aware dogs with lots of special needs when they're out in the world. I'm very organized and structured, so I am able to work in walks or check-ins with clients around my schedule. sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
