“I cant say enough good things about Myrna. She took exceptional care of my senior pup and went above and beyond to make him feel safe, comfortable, and loved during his stay. My dog has some incontinence issues and can be very attached to his people. Myrna was incredibly understanding, accomidating, and patient with his special needs. Thank you!”

“Matt was extremely helpful and responsive, and provided wonderful crate-free boarding for our standard poodle. From the looks of the photos he sent, she seemed to really enjoy herself.”

“Stacey is so great with my Puppy Poppy! We are still crate, potty and puppy manner training and she was able to keep up with training while we were away. I loved getting updates and pictures throughout the weekend and even was able to keep her an extra night because we were stuck in traffic and wouldn’t get back until later than expected. Poppy had a wonderful time and says she can’t wait until her next stay with her new friends!”

“Was looking for a new dog sitter and glad I found Jonathan. He took great care of ollie and I felt good leaving him in a nice clean place with other friendly doggies! Will be using Jonathan's services in the future.”

“Aaren & Jordon were the absolute best!! Our pup is a nervous / shy girlie, but she warmed up to them about immediately!! ❤️ She stayed for a long weekend while we were out of town. Aaren sent us photos and updates the whole time, and went above and beyond taking our girlie on runs / walks all around town!! She has been so sleepy ever since she got home and can tell she had the best time!! Will absolutely be using Aaren and Jordon for all of our upcoming trips. Can’t thank you enough! ❤️❤️”

“I feel so confident taking my older dogs to Emily. I know she'll give them lots of love and make sure they're comfortable and content. So happy to have found her!”

“Peyton did an awesome job sending pictures and keeping me informed. My dog was relaxed and happy when I picked him up. Will definitely use her services again!”

“Donetta was great with Graham! I was a little worried leaving him because I wasn’t sure how he would adjust being gone overnight without seeing me. However, she sent pictures and she gave updates on how he was doing. I was very pleased with her services. I highly recommend Donetta, you won’t be disappointed she’s great with dogs.”

About: For the last 5 years, I've been volunteering care for a herd of goats on Gillie's Creek Park. I am also the primary farm sitter for several friends' homesteads and a frequent pet sitter for friends and acquaintances. I have a broad range of experience: handling elderly animal care, newborn feeding/monitoring, pet anxiety, unique medication/feeding schedules, and general care for most farm/domesticated animals. I have a deep love for animals and their welfare with a desire to assist you and your pet in any way possible. I'm currently working part-time with a very flexible schedule. Typically not away from home for more than 3 hours at a time during marked available hours. My schedule can be adjustable if coordinating in advance. If caring in your home, I ensure that all items are back where they were originally left and that all feeding bowls and areas accessed are cleaned and organized. My home has a fenced-in yard, plenty of plants, natural lighting, and no other pets to contend for attention or food.
“Nicole did a wonderful job taking care of my 5 year old Samoyed for a long weekend! Drop off and pick up were easy. I received photos through out his stay. Her dog Tank is a big sweetheart. My pup returned home happy and well cared for in my absence. Highly recommend her boarding services, and I would definitely use her again in the future!”

“During July 4th, we planned on going out of town for the weekend. We were impressed with Julie's rover profile and decided to contact her. We were able to meet up with her twice, once so that she could see our dog, and the second time so that Mozzie could check out her place. This was the first time since adopting him over a year ago that were had ever boarded him somewhere, so we were understandably nervous about it, but Julie proved to be a great sitter. She sent us status updates and pictures while we were away, so that we could know what Mozzie was up to. When we came to pick him up, she also helped us with tips and ideas on how to help Mozzie socialize with other dogs. We could definitely tell that Mozzie was in good hands. Definitely recommended!”
“Le’Quitta was absolutely wonderful with Honey! From the very beginning, she was thoughtful and communicative. We did a meet-and-greet beforehand, and she even brought one of her dogs to make sure Honey would be comfortable since she can be a little reactive around other dogs. Just before our trip, Honey unexpectedly needed stitches and had to wear a cone while taking medication every 12 hours. Le’Quitta didn’t hesitate—she happily took on the extra care, administered Honey’s medications, and gave us complete peace of mind so we could still enjoy our weekend away. Throughout Honey’s stay, Le’Quitta sent frequent updates and photos, and it was obvious Honey was having the best time playing with the other dogs. She even had her first positive introduction to a cat! Every picture showed a happy, smiling dog who was clearly loved and well cared for. I’m so grateful for Le’Quitta flexibility, communication, and genuine care for Honey. I would absolutely book with her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone who will treat their dog like family.”

“Emily was great! She took care of two cats and four hens—and one of our cats is getting elderly and increasingly prone to unsanctioned pooping?. Emily didn’t miss a beat though and we’d be happy to recommend her. We look forward to having her back in the future! Thanks, Emily!!”

“Nick was great! He took great care of our cats, fish, and Guinea pig. It was wonderful receiving pics of our furry family and he even brought the mail in. I would 100% use his services again.”

“Kelly did an amazing job watching my cat, Kingsley. Kingsley has extreme anxiety when he is without me, and he can be a real handful for a sitter. Kelly put in a lot of extra effort to accommodate his stress/anxiety levels and respect his boundaries. It was a huge comfort knowing that he was in such good hands during my trip, and I would highly recommend Kelly to anyone looking for the best for their fur babies!”

“Elle has been fantastic. My new wife and I went away to get married and have our honeymoon and we were comforted knowing that our kitties were with her. Highly recommend!”

“Holland was great! My cat seemed happy us usual when I got back from my trip, and Holland was great about sending me pictures and videos. She came when she said she would and she sent me videos of how she played with him to assure he was getting his energy out! I would definitely recommend her to anyone and will definitely look to use her again!”

“My cats were immediately comfortable meeting Maria - and so was I, since she was very friendly and communicative both beforehand and during my trip. Each visit came with lots of pictures and I could tell my cats were doing well.”

“Alyssa really helped us out when our cat unfortunately became sick on our trip. She was very communicative about her progress and took all of our suggestions to help and gave her extra care until she started feeling better! Thank you Alyssa!”

“Heather was very responsive and communicative. She took great care of our cat, followed all our instructions and is the first pet-sitter he came out for. She was very respectful of our house. We would definitely rebook with Heather again!”

“Just used Elijah for the first time to visit and feed my kitty while I was away on an overnight trip. Great job! Elijah is EXTREMELY responsive via the Rover app when you have a question, need, etc. And Elijah left great report cards with lots of details and photos. And the house was in great shape when I got back, everything neat and in its place. I'll definitely use Elijah again!”

“Kacey was so great with Rosie! She made sure she had everything she needed and took lots of photos for us. Definitely recommend her for all your pets!”

“So impressed with Jonathan. He really went above and beyond when it came to taking care of my kitty babies. He’s very kind and helps out as much as he can, sometimes on very short notice. So glad I found him :)”

“Sidney came to my rescue last minute when my pet sitter had a family emergency. My cats immediately took to her and she gave me much needed peace of mind a day out from my trip!”

“Rachel was so great with my sweet baby and with her excellent background, I knew he was in great hands being diabetic. She reported in and sent adorable pics. Charlie and I are hoping she’ll be back!”

“Danyelle is extraordinary. We booked her for the first time and were so happy with our choice. She cared for our two cats over the Christmas holiday, visiting twice and administering oral medicine that had to be given on a regular schedule. She provided daily updates that were not only informative but fun to read. Highly recommended!”

“⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I can’t say enough wonderful things about Miguel and his wife! They took amazing care of my fur baby, Church, for the past three days, and the experience was absolutely delightful. From the moment we met, Miguel made sure that Church felt comfortable and safe, even introducing him to their own dog to help them get along. His understanding of dog language, especially with big dogs like mine, is truly impressive. Miguel and his wife are such pleasant, caring people. They kept me informed every step of the way, sending updates and even videos, which gave me so much peace of mind. They’re incredibly accommodating, even fitting us in on short notice, which I really appreciated. Church came back home happy, tired, and clearly well-loved. I could tell he had a great time because he’s been so content and relaxed. I’m beyond grateful for their kindness, professionalism, and the genuine care they showed my dog. If you’re looking for someone trustworthy and amazing with dogs, Miguel and his wife are the best choice. Thank you both so much! How does that look? “Myrna is a great sitter. She has taken excellent care of Starbuck. We have scheduled doggie day care and boarding. Myrna's schedule is flexible and she works with us on drop off and pickup times. We will continue to use Myrna's services.”

“My dogs really enjoyed their stay with Nadia...they came home and passed out from exhaustion so I know they had fun! Nadia has a nice fenced in yard for the dogs to play, and screens other dogs well to ensure that there is no doggy drama. I will definitely be using her as a sitter again soon!”

About: Lifetime lover of furry animal friends - adopting my puggle and in turn, her puppy sister/bff the Norfolk Terrier were easily the two best decisions I ever made. You can rest assured that your doggies are safe, comfortable and pawtying down with me by their side. My girls have warm blankets waiting in the dryer when we come in from cold walks. I believe in going a few extra miles to truly spoil our fur ball angel nuggets bc why not? Being greeted by them when you walk through the door is the best thing ever and I have been caring for animals the majority of my life. This is the most rewarding, satisfying and not to mention FUN "job" of all time, pick me
“Joyce is great! She takes care of my dog Banana on a daily basis while I’m at work & is constantly working with my crazy sales schedule. Joyce takes great care of Banana, making sure she’s fed twice a day, has pleeenty of potty breaks & all the love & affection she could ask for! She even sends me daily pictures of my old pup throughout the day, which always cheers me up! 10/10, would recommend 😊”

“Peyton was amazing! Checked in with us regularly and ensured Jupiter had a great time. We will definitely book with Peyton again in the future. Thank you so much for taking such great care of our sweet girl!”

“Matt is fantastic. My dog Ru loves going to his house so much that she sprints to his front door and will not look back for me at all. She has a great time with him and when I pick her up she is happy and tired in the best way. He clearly has a great understanding of dogs and is very professional and communicative. I feel completely confident leaving my girl there and I know she has the absolute best care.”

“Jasmine was great with our little puppy Bear! We had something come up last minute and she was available to take care of him at her house. About: I’ve had my dog for nearly a year and I’ve had foster pups come through here in that time as well. But plenty of past experience with pups! I do weekends so I can spend more time with the dogs since I work full time. Exceptions can be made for weekly watching if you are okay with that schedule. I would let them out often and feed them at the times you instruct me to. I will also cuddle with them if they allow.

About: I’ve always been an animal person and have experience caring for dogs, cats, and reptiles, including my own ball python. I grew up with an Australian Shepherd who can be very anxious, so I’m used to being patient with nervous pets and helping them feel safe and comfortable. I’ve pet sat for animals of all different temperaments, including a cat with a more aggressive personality, so I understand the importance of respecting each animal’s boundaries and adapting to their individual needs. I love spending time outdoors and taking walks, and I know the Richmond area well. With two years of professional housekeeping experience, I’m comfortable caring for both pets and homes with the same level of respect and attention to detail I’d want for my own. My goal is to provide dependable care for both your pet and your home, while making sure your pet feels happy, safe, and loved while you’re away! I work about 20 hours a week as an esthetician and make my own schedule, which gives me plenty of flexibility to care for your pets. Because I set my own hours, I’m able to accommodate walks, drop-in visits, and pet sitting throughout the week. Spending time with animals is something I genuinely enjoy, so I would love to fit pet care into my routine. I believe every pet is different, so I do my best to follow their normal routine and make them feel as comfortable as possible. In a client’s home, I’ll make sure your pet gets plenty of attention, exercise, playtime, and affection while keeping up with their feeding schedule and any specific instructions you provide. For cats staying in my home, I’ll provide a calm, safe environment where they can settle in at their own pace. Having lived with multiple cats of various personalities, I understand that some cats are social while others prefer their space, and I’m happy to accommodate both! I will stay in regular communication, providing updates and photos so you always know how they’re doing!
“Maria and Luis were wonderful with Murphy! They were communicative and easy going. I was nervous, as this was my first time having Murphy walked by a stranger, but feel so comfortable leaving her in their care!!”

“Heather was absolutely amazing with our sweet but skittish dog! She took very great care of her and made sure she got plenty of sniffs in! Heather also took my last minute booking which was incredible! We will definitely be rebooking!!”

“Conrad stepped in at our late notice and took fantastic care of our two dogs! They were staying with a sitter who could not walk them, and Conrad came to the rescue with walking them for a full hour every day, reliably and on-time! He communicates really well, is really responsible, and clearly has experience with dogs. One of my dogs is also dog-reactive, and Conrad knew just how to manage any reactive signs on walks and keeps distance from other animals. He listens well to instructions and is just a great dude. I’m happily looking to making him our regular go-to pet sitter and walker whenever we need support!”

About: As a child, I had a small dog named Nike! She was the cutest little Shih Tzu. Having her at a young age taught me responsibility first and foremost, but it also taught me how to appreciate and be patient with animals. I have fond memories of walking her around the neighborhood, being sure she had food and plenty of water in her bowls, and running around with her outside! She also got ENDLESS cuddle time. She was my first best friend, and although she’s not here with me in my adult years, I’ve come to love and value ALL animals, from playful cats, to everyday animals like squirrels and birds, lol. I’m a college student, graduating in the fall next year, and I have many breaks where I’m home. When home, I am fully available everyday, anytime to care for pets!

“Hilary and Willlie are fantastic. I was totally comfortable having our dog Layla away from us for over a week for the first time. She was totally taken care of and loved. The daily updates were great. Thank you so much.”

“Echo loved all of the members (2 and 4 footed) of the family! Even though they had a lot going on, Jennifer let me know how things were going and was so sweet and considerate of his special food and supplements and his separation anxiety. I am so grateful that I found ya'll and that you are nearby. Thank you so much!”

“Cyndi was wonderful with our Standard Poodle and sent lots of great updates and pictures. So glad to have found her and look forward to having Maui stay with her again.”

“Nadia took great care of my 11-year-old dog Nike. She sent pictures every day of her activity and my dog seems so happy to be among other dogs, which was surprising to me. I would definitely use her again. Nike was in good hands the entire time.”

“Quick and easy drop off. Lily is a rescue, been with us for six months, but opened up quickly to her and her family. (Sorry that she’s a Velcro dog!) Sent daily photos, but frequency could drop—I was admittedly nervous. I appreciate Shay’s patience and accommodations.”
