About: I'm a nature lover and natural animal lover—especially doggies. Over the years, I’ve loved and cared for my my own pets: dogs, a rabbit and a cat. Currently, I help care for my aging mom’s little senior Shitzu: weekly walks at a nearby parks, vet care and lite grooming. Comfortable with harness attaching and removal. My own beloved dog passed away a couple of years ago, I still enjoy encounters with other dogs on my daily walks, giving ear rubs and back scratches—dogs just bring me joy. Currently, I’m retired, so my availability is flexible for you and your pet’s needs. I have experience caring for various breeds and size (small to medium size dogs), but I can handle larger senior dogs. I routinely walk at various designated parks and trails in the East Bay. When I pet-sit in my apartment, I inquire about pets regular routine first: walking, feeding, and medication (if necessary). I require they provide their pet’s own: bedding, sleepwear, food and treats and up to date vaccines. I also ask for emergency info: Vet, pet-owner (s), and an alternate contact. Finally, I will send regular updates via text, pictures or videos of your pets outings or stays—live if you like!

“Victoria was incredible! I hadn't worked with her yet but I decided to book a walk on the same day and she was responsive, encouraging, and willing to receive specific requests I had about my dog/the walk itself. My pup came back happy and tired. Very reliable, will book again!”

Thanks for all the updates throughout the walks and being so communicative. Keep up the great work!”

I can dog walk in the evening on weekends in the city. I raised my own dog from 8 weeks to 16.5 years and also raised a kitten from 6 weeks old, so I’m very comfortable with puppies/kittens, senior pets, and administering medication or special care. I’ve cared for many different dogs over the years and always tailor my care to your pet’s needs, from long walks and playtime to short strolls and calm company. I’ll treat your pet like my own and make sure they feel safe, happy, and loved while you’re away 🐾 I work full-time in the Oakland area and live in Lower haight. I can do full days and boarding ont the weekends and dog walking and drop-ins on week days. I live in an apartment with an outdoor patio. I am happy to take dogs on as many walks as needed as. About: I have always been surrounded with dogs ever since I was a kid. My parents always relied on me to walk my dogs every morning and evening. I’m a recent grad, currently looking for jobs. I stay at home a lot of the times, but I would love to take your dog on a walk in a park. I don’t have pets at my apartment, so your dog will be safe from other dogs. My apartment has a fenced garden, so your pet won’t be holding in their pee and poo.

About: Hello! My name is Mary. I am a lifelong pet owner and animal enthusiast. I grew up on a horse farm with dogs, cats, horses, hamsters, and the odd rogue toad, so caring for animals with love and respect is literally second nature. I'm a somatic embodiment coach by trade, so I have a unique skill set for helping animals feel relaxed and comfortable in my care. I have joyously fostered 20+ dogs and cats in their transition to forever homes, and have extensive experience with house and pet sitting. I have experience with dogs of all sizes and breeds, from 6 pound little weasels to 80 pound gentle giants. I have a special place in my heart for seniors (and have experience caring for them.) I am comfortable and experienced with administering medication. Because I work from home online and over zoom, I can accommodate animals that need a shorter window of alone time. I'd be delighted to treat your fur family with all the love and care I would give my own. I look forward to hearing from you! I have my own online business, so my schedule is very fluid and flexible. I love walking dogs and can easily do day or evening walks and stop-bys. I have experience with staying in many different homes and I know that every animal has its own unique routines, needs and rituals that help it feel in flow. I'm very happy to work with your pet in the way they are used to.

About: I give complete care and attention to each critter. They are my priority, and very special to me. I grew up with cats, dogs, geese, rabbits etc... and currently have my own beautiful 11 year old Barbara cat. Taking care of animals brings me so much joy, which I think the critters can pick up on. I take their care seriously and make sure that they and you having everything that is needed. I have a reliable vehicle, am happy to travel and open availability throughout the week and weekend. This is my main source of income, so I am sure to make time for your pets, and make it my top priority. In my home I take the dog for a short walk at least twice a day, and when I am the only one responsible he also gets a long walk each day. My cat gets all the cuddles, brushed, clean her litter twice a day, and fully scrubbed down every other week. She also gets her water changed every day, flea medicine once a month, gabapentin as needed (she's getting a little arthritis), clip her nails as needed and I make sure she has a healthy mix of dry food and occasional wet food.

About: I have always had pets, growing up it was cats and rats, now I have a senior Maltese cutie pie I adopted as a rescue 5 years ago. He is a joy and an honor to care for and has brought so much positivity and goodness into my life. I have dog and cat sat in personal settings, for my family and friends when they were out of town. I am familiar with a variety of dog breeds everything from Dachshunds to Great Danes. I have also cared for dogs and cats in a professional setting as well, the pets of my home healthcare clients. I have helped care for three legged cats, dogs with severe medical conditions, and dogs with high anxiety. It would be an honor to care for your loves! I am currently working as a substitute so I have a flexible schedule. I have a few days a week where I am available all day, and a few days where I am available for the afternoons/early evenings. I am always sure to put your pets needs first and make sure they are happy and comfortable. When I commit to a task I see it through and complete it according to instruction and to the best of my ability, especially when someone else’s welfare is at stake.

Ladonna S.
“Ladonna would be an excellent caregiver. She adores animals; and they are drawn to her; and why wouldn't they? Animals are believed to be instinctual beings, and they know a kind and generous person. I have never known her to mistreat any animal; I have only known her as a lover of animals. I know she would excel at this position.”

Hanicka S.
“Hanicka is a very loving animal person. Since she was young, she's always approached cats and dogs, excited to meet them. When she finally got her own dog (Saphi), she was patient with dog training, careful with food choices, cleaned the Saphi regularly and checked up with the vets asap if there was something wrong. She even brought home a senior dog (Sammy) that had been living in a factory for most of his life. Thanks to Hanicka, Sammy got to spend his last few years in a loving home with Saphi. I would highly recommend her for dog or cat sitting. She is very attentive and will do her best to take care of your loved ones.”

Mary L.
“Mary truly understands dogs—not just as pets, but as individual beings with their own personalities and quirks. She took the time to connect with our dog, honoring his unique character and needs. I know that Mary has worked with every temperament you can imagine—from shy and sensitive to bold and high-energy—and she handles each with patience, love, and incredible care. She’s fun-loving and playful, but also remarkably in tune with each dog’s energy. As dog owners, we also felt so supported. Her communication is top-notch—she always kept us in the loop, was responsive to any specific instructions or concerns, and made sure we felt completely at ease while away. Our pup clearly adored her, and so did we. Couldn’t recommend her more highly!”

Catherine T.
“I have known Catherine, Katie as I call her, for about 29 years. She is one of the most caring, trustworthy, and responsible people I know. She brings her positive energy and cheerful nature to every situation. Her active lifestyle and loving personality makes caring for pets the perfect fit!”

Heather W.
“I have known and trusted Heather for a decade. Ever since we met in college, she has remained one of my dearest friends--largely due to her compassionate, empathetic, and mindful nature. These characteristics--in addition to her love and passion for animals--make her an excellent caretaker for pets. She is trustworthy, responsible, and very intentional with her care. As someone who follows directions extremely well, she will certainly stay connected with you while providing love and reliable support for your beloved pet. I strongly recommend her as a dog walker or pet sitter of any kind.”
