“I can't even begin to explain how wonderful a pet sitter Addie is! I was anxious to leave my 14 year old Yorkie and 19 year old kitty to go on vacation. They both have health issues and take multiple medications, and are used to me being home most of the time since I've been working from home the last 3 1/2 years. Addie came to meet my boys and patiently listened while I went through multiple pages of instructions and other information I wanted her to know. I could tell then that she was going to do a great job, and felt much better about leaving my guys. Addie stayed at our house 8 nights to care for them and worked from the house while here. She sent pictures and updates often, and was quick to respond whenever I checked in. (The Rover app makes it easy to communicate even when outside the country.) She left the house very nice and clean as well. I highly recommend Addie and hope to be able to use her and Rover when I travel in the future.”

Communication throughout the process of scheduling and leaving was timely and reassuring with any questions throughout the stay. This is the first time I have left my dogs with anyone and it could not have been more reassuring to know that they were so well cared for. “Ryan has been a life saver with watching our two dogs multiple times! He’s been super flexible with us with timing when we’ve been running behind or need him to come a little earlier. He has been just as good and patient with our 8 year old Yorkie mix as he has been with our anxious high energy lab mix that is newer rescue and was recovering from knee surgery. Both of our dogs require medication to be administered and Ryan has been confident and more than willing and able to take on that task. He sends frequent pictures and updates throughout his visits and is super communicative. The girls seemed calm and comfortable with him which made us feel much better about being away.”

He provided consistent updates with photos throughout our 4 day trip, he was able to extend watching them past the agreed date due to flight mishaps. I have two very high energy dogs, that love to bark and pull during walks, I personally walk them separately. Devon was able to work on their behavior and etiquette preparing for and during walks and has consistently been able yo walk them together. On some personal thoughtful notes: Some of my orchid flowers dropped and he pressed them for me. And he even left us a welcome home note with some treats for the pups. He is such a kind and thoughtful person, never using anyone else!”

About: I have over a decade of experience with small to large dogs, which includes raising two litters of puppies, potty-training, special diets, limited mobility, elderly animals, medical accommodations (eye drops, pills/other oral meds, etc.), and everything else involved with basic animal care. I also have experience with rescues and pregnant animals. Growing up as an only child, I've always had a special bond with animals and love taking care of any & all fur babies! I'm currently available throughout the week while working on LSAT prep and applying to jobs, so I'll be a perfect match to provide pet care throughout the day and evening. I can also provide client updates, respond promptly, and be flexible if anything comes up! I have a 0.5 acre, partially-shaded yard with a gated deck, lots of toys and blankets, safety fences, and one small, older female dog who can keep them company or be sectioned off so your pet can have maximum privacy. It's a two-story home with a finished basement and my nearly-retired mom and step-dad, so it's a quiet environment with room to roam. We also have a variety of trails and parks nearby. I'll always provide updates and ensure that your wishes are top priority!

About: I've always had a dog and I've had a cat for 8 years. I have house sat for neighbors multiple times and they have relied on me and trusted me. I will not let you down! I have recently finished up classes for graduate school and am looking to make some new furry friends while I wait to graduate! Am currently available most days except Friday mornings! I am very gentle and I am slow to let a dog sniff me and come to me first rather than come up to them and possibly scare them. I am familiar with training dogs, as I have trained my own and have also attended training classes so I am familiar with common commands and how they are used, if needed.
